"How can you even say such words?" Sophina glared at Fiona angrily. She reached out and grabbed her hand, trying to pry her hand away from my arm.
With a smack, a heavy slap landed on Sophina's face.
It wasn't within my expectations. I didn't expect Fiona to slap Sophina.
"Are you crazy?" I pushed her hand away and quickly shielded Sophina behind me.
Fiona did not expect me to shout at her. Her expression changed drastically and she revealed a disdainful expression.
"What a rude lackey. Her parents didn't teach her enough manners, so I'll do them a favor." As soon as she finished speaking, she snorted coldly and showed a disdainful smile.
"Do you think this is the Hill family's place?" I frowned and stared straight at Fiona. "You called my baby a bastard kid. May I ask what happened to your manners?"
"Laurel Parks, you really have no respect for others. No wonder Austin left you." Fiona looked me up and down, her eyes filled with disdain. "You slept with a guy with your pretty face. Isn't your baby a bastard kid?"
"You have such a foul mouth. Didn't you brush your teeth when you went out this morning?" I spoke in a calm tone.
When Fiona heard this, in a fit of anger, she slapped my face.
Sophina held back her tears and reached out to pull me. She didn't expect me to quickly walk forward. Not only did I stop her outstretched palm, but I also slapped Fiona's face heavily.
Fiona staggered back two steps. Before she could recover from her shock, I immediately held my belly and sat on the floor.
Fiona shouldn't have messed with me.
I had always known how powerful Fiona, Austin's aunt, was, even though I had never met her.
However, I had heard Angela say that the reason why the Hill family's reputation was ruined was Fiona.
Back then, when she was young, since she had always thought that she was the cream of the crop, she would only marry a rich and powerful man.
Even if her husband wasn't rich and powerful, he had to be an official.
Therefore, Fiona often appeared in high-end restaurants, thinking that she could make friends with rich and powerful people.
Finally, her hard work paid off. Fiona met an official's son.
That man actually came from a mediocre family. He believed that she really wanted to start a family with him, so he spent more than 15 million dollars to buy a large flat in the city for Fiona, and the property belonged to her only.
Initially, he wanted to buy the flat and settle the marriage. However, he did not expect Fiona to break up with him directly because she had taken a fancy to a rich businessman's son.
It would have been fine if they had parted on good terms, but he did not expect Fiona to be unwilling to return the house to him.
Fiona even reported the man's father for embezzlement and bribery. Although the man's father was not directly locked up after the inspection, he was found many problems at work and was eventually fired.
As for the estate, Fiona sold it before she reported the man's family, who could only suffer in silence. After all, if they were investigated, they would probably not be able to explain themselves.
However, the Hill family knew what they had done and wanted to marry Fiona off.
Unexpectedly, she directly got married to the rich businessman's son and followed him out of the country.
"What's going on?" Amanda rushed to the hospital with Austin as soon as she received a call from the hospital.
She looked at the angry woman who was still sitting on the chair and covering the swollen side of her face with her hand. Amanda asked Fiona in confusion, "Did someone beat you up?"
Fiona yelled, "This bitch hit me."
She glared at me angrily as she spoke. Then, she glanced at Austin. "Austin, where did you meet such a shameless bitch exactly? How dare she hit me?"
Sophina hurriedly said, "You cursed her first and even tried to hit her."
"Did I say anything wrong? Isn't her baby a bastard kid? She was slutty enough to sleep with different men, but she doesn't have the guts to admit it?" Fiona kept calling me a bitch and my baby a bastard kid.
"Aunt Fiona, stop talking." Austin quickly reached out and pulled her arm, his face turning embarrassed.
Just then, Alex walked in with a darkened expression.
Fiona heard footsteps behind her. When she saw who it was, she could not help but reveal a look of surprise. However, her expression changed in an instant. "Oh, Austin, why didn't you say that your uncle was also here?"
Looking at the fake smile on the woman's face, I found it really disgusting.
"Are you alright? Are you hurt?" Alex asked coldly.
"I'm fine. I was just slapped by a shameless bitch. I'll definitely sue her," Fiona said through gritted teeth.
When I heard this, I couldn't help but sneer.
"What are you laughing at?" Fiona cursed again, "Bitch."
As soon as she finished speaking, Alex looked at Fiona coldly. "Shut up!"
"Uncle Alex, my aunt didn't say it on purpose," Austin said hurriedly with a frown.
Alex's face was gloomy as he suddenly fixed his eyes on Austin. His tone was cold. "Do you think I'm deaf? She called her a bitch and her baby a bastard kid."
"Alex, don't tell me you like this vixen. Austin and you are family. Do you have to get mad at him over a woman?" Fiona's face suddenly revealed a trace of displeasure.
"Family? You're Austin's aunt. We're not family. If anything happens to my wife and our baby, I won't let you off." Alex's voice was gloomy, and his deep-set eyes seemed to be emitting a chilling light. He looked quite scary.
I was slightly stunned. For a moment, I couldn't figure out what he was thinking.
Didn't he tell me to abort the baby? Why did he look so worried now?
Fiona was stunned for a moment. Her body was tense, and her lips were trembling.
Unfortunately, it was too late.
After a long while, she looked up at Austin in panic. "Austin, isn't she your ex-girlfriend? How come..."
Austin wanted to say something but did not know what to say.
I said unhurriedly, "I forgot to mention that I slept with Alex, and he's the father of the bastard kid I'm pregnant."
I looked at Fiona without changing my expression and sighed softly. "Alex and I are legally married. Your precious niece is the real bastard kid, isn't she?"
"How dare you..." Fiona bit her lip and glared at me.
If it weren't for Alex, she would have rushed up and slapped me.
