Sierra’s POV
Maria and Yvonne stood side-by-side Arthur. At the other side was Neil, who looked amused by what was going on in front of him. I felt my chest tighten and my blood boiling as I watched the both women stare at me like they had won.
My first thought was to run out of here, but no. I couldn’t. I didn’t stay still either. I took slow steps forward, just like in the movies. My head held high, my chest and shoulders evened out, a little exaggerated, but who cared?
I stood before Arthur and took his hand. He didn’t object as I led him up the stairs. At the first room, I turned the knob and pushed him in, then slammed the door shut. I took in a deep breath before opening the door once again.
Arthur was seated on the bed, calm, waiting as though he knew I would walk in. “I must confess I like this side of you,” he said as I walked over to him.
“Why are they here?” I asked.
“I have no idea. Neil ushered them in. I was just about to send them off when you arrived,” Arthur said.
I believed him, but that did not eradicate the anger in me. The more I remembered them being close, the angrier I grew. Arthur stood up and took my hand. “I will head down right now and send them off,” he said, heading for the door.
“Arthur,” I called, making him halt.
He turned around, and I walked over to him. “I don’t want to see them around you ever again. You want me to use you, but it would be by my rules, and that’s one of them. I don’t want anyone to interfere,” I said.
He smiled. “Why are you-”
He shut me up with a kiss. “Certainly, Miss,” he said as he pulled away.
“I got something for you,” he said, leading me out of the room to another, which I presumed would be his.
In his walk-in closet, I spotted my dress. “You still have this?” I asked, pulling it off the rack.
“Yes, and I got a few more dresses for you as well,” he said, revealing a rack with so many dresses.
“These…”
I grabbed one. “They are all for you,” he said.
“Why?”
“I think you will visit a lot, so it’s best you have dresses here,” he said.
I tried to hold back the smile that was threatening to reveal how much this attention of his meant to me, but my cheeks hurt from it. “I got this for our ride today.” He picked out leather pants with a matching shirt and boots.
“Try them on,” he said, handing it over as he walked out to give me privacy.
I put them on without a question and stood before the mirror admiring how much it looked good on me. With a smile, I put my hair in a high ponytail before heading out. Arthur’s gaze moved from my face to my feet.
“You look… breathtaking,” he said, his voice so low it made something in me flicker.
He pulled me in by the waist, eyes locked on mine. My cheeks burned red at how much intensity he held in those blue eyes of his. I loved it. “You got my size perfectly. How?” I asked.
“I’ve held you a million times. I can tell,” he said.
“I’m impressed,” I said.
“Do I get a reward?” he said, lifting my chin.
I pressed my lips on his, parting my lips as his tongue found mine. He led me to the wall, sealing me in with his hands roaming my body. Just before we could lose ourselves, Neil knocked.
“Hey, Arthur. They’re still down here,” he said.
Arthur sucked in his breath in annoyance. “I’ll be back,” he said.
I grabbed his hand before he could leave. “No need. Let’s ride instead,” I said, a cunning idea making me smile.
Arthur led me down, and the duo was still present. I hooked my arm around Arthur’s arm, the frown on Yvonne and Maria’s faces feeding into my boldness. “I’m heading out. You two should leave,” Arthur said.
“Arthur!” Maria called with something in her tone.
Warning.
She locked eyes with him as though trying to pass a message. Arthur stilled for a moment, then smiled. “Whatever you wish to do, do it outside of my house. Neil, see them off,” he said, then turned to me.
With our hands locked, he led me out of the living room. “What was that about?” I asked.
“She’s still trying to threaten me. It certainly wouldn’t work,” he said, then smiled. “I’ll handle it. You don’t have to worry,”
I nodded. Arthur went in and got the bike out to the open area. I spotted Maria and Yvonne at the corner. “Can I sit in front?” I asked Arthur.
“You could, but I’m guessing you can’t ride. If you stay in front while I’m in control, it would be uncomfortable for you,” he said.
I sighed as my plan failed. Arthur grabbed me by the head, taking over my lips in a kiss. He brought his lips to my neck, pressed a kiss to the side, making me tilt it to the side. He trailed a kiss to the back of my ear, then nibbled on it.
“There are other ways to make them jealous,” he whispered, then pressed a kiss below my ear.
My eyes went back to Yvonne and Maria. They sure looked like they would explode from rage. I felt satisfied with it. It seemed Arthur had picked on what I wanted to do. “Get on,” he said, nudging his head to his behind as he passed my helmet.
I got on. He took my hand, slowly bringing it around his torso. “Now, hold tight and don’t let go,” he said.
My hands wandered down, and he stiffened. “Careful, Sierra. Let’s leave that for later,” he said, winking at me.
With his helmet on, he brought the engine to life. I leaned into his back, giving a smile to Yvonne and Maria, who were red faced. Maria looked more like a bomb to me.
But it didn’t matter. What mattered was this new me!
And fuck, this was just the beginning!
