Sierra's POV
I didn't fall down the stairs, but I definitely sprained my ankles. The care in Arthur's eyes as he helped me down on the bed made my heart flutter.
He turned around and paused. “Hey, man. I got an ice pack. I thought you'll need it,” Ian said, looking pale in the face.
Arthur hummed, grabbed the bag, and walked back into the room before shutting the door with his feet. Arthur knelt on one knee as he placed the pack on my ankle.
The sting made me hiss. “I'm sorry. I'll take it slow,” he said.
“Ian looked scared of you,” I pointed out.
“Really? Didn't notice,” Arthur said, but I knew it was a lie.
Everyone could see the way Ian spoke to Arthur like he was scared. “Well, he was scared. What did you do to him? I thought you two were friends,” I said.
“Friends stay away from my parents,” he said.
So it was true he didn't like involving himself with anyone who had anything to do with his parents? But I believed he has been friends with Arthur, so what changed? “Can I ask why? Ian must have his reasons,” I said.
“To hurt you,” he raised his head to look at me.
I smiled nervously, then Arthur sighed. “The last party you attended, he cohorted with Maria and my parents to corner you. They hurt you and a simple apology or his lack of knowledge would not cut it,” he said.
“He didn't know,” I said, softly.
“It's stupidity if he didn't foresee they could hurt you,” he said in anger.
“So you hurt him?”
Arthur sighed. “Just a few punches. He didn't seem to have a problem with it. He's only scared because I released that video of Maria. He fears I would do that to him, which only shows how stupid he can be sometimes.”
His focus returned to my ankle. I watched him remain on his knees for a long while. Once the swell was done, he wrapped it up a bit before standing.
“Would you stay away from me if I got close to your parents?” I asked, breaking the silence between us.
Arthur looked stunned at my question. I said nothing, watching and waiting for him to say something. “Stay away from them,” he said.
“And if I don't? Would you want nothing to do with me?” I asked.
“You really want to get close to them. Why? They insult you at any chance they have. Staying away from them is the best,”
“You're avoiding my question, Arthur. I'm not saying I want to. I'm saying what if I do?”
He looked away from me, and I let him. He sighed. “I can't,”
I shot up a brow. "I won't stay away from you. I'll accept your wishes,” he said.
“Why? You seem to push everyone away when they do that,” I said.
He held my chin, his eyes fixed on mine. “My love for you is more than the irritation I have when people get close to my parents,” I said.
I smiled. “So you're being partial?” I teased.
Arthur leaned closer, his lips only a pinch close to mine. “Maybe,” he breath fanned my lips.
His eyes dropped to my lips for a second. Before he could look away, I pressed my lips on his, wrapping my fingers around his neck. I laid down, taking him with me.
His lips found the nook of my neck as he nibbled on it. A moan left my lips as he found his way through my dress, kneading my breast. I helped him take off his shirt as he took my dress off.
The lust in his eyes only multiplied as his eyes fell on my bare body. His fingers trailed my skin, and the feeling lingered. He stopped by my opening, moving slowly around my clits.
His thumb found my bud, and I shuddered. Shutting my eyes, I felt his erection at my entrance. He thrusted slowly, feeling every inch of him.
He picked up the pace and found myself moaning his name with no restraint. Soon after, we were cuddled up under the sheets naked and I dozed off with his sweet cologne engulfing my nostrils.
I opened my eyes again to the sound of voices. “Here is your phone, sir,” I heard a lady say.
“Thanks. Using a burner phone can be exhausting,” I heard Arthur.
Fluttering my eyes open, I stared at Arthur, who had no shirt at the door. With a glimpse, I spotted an average height lady with black long hair. “I'll take it over to charge,” the lady said, and Arthur nodded.
“Anything else?” Arthur asked.
“Yes, about your parents. They have left your house. However, they are now in the penthouse,” the lady informed him.
“Are their servants still there?” Arthur asked.
“No. They moved them to the penthouse,” the lady responded, and Arthur hummed with a nod.
“I will return to the house. Inform Sarah of this change,” he said, and the lady nodded.
Arthur shut the door and walked over to the bed, sitting on the edge. I watched him scroll through his phone, his brows furrowed. Whatever he was reading, he didn't seem to like.
He placed a call, bringing the phone to his ear. I quickly shut my eyes as he looked over his shoulder. “Neil,” he said into the phone. “Take down those videos and photos now!”
I couldn't hear much of what Neil said on the other end, but he hissed, squeezing the bridge of his nose. “I don't care if my father is pushing it. Take it down! It's an order,”
Neil yelled on the phone, helping me hear him. “You know what, no! C'mon man, that lady is only using you. How could she hug that dude in front of everyone, yet you still support her? Don't tell me you've turned to a simp! I won't help you and that's it!”
And the call ended.
Arthur stared at his phone, his fingers squeezing at its sides. “Let them stay up,” I finally spoke.
