                    Lunawyn Pov
We walked to my apartment, and trini closed the door behind us as I bounced on my bed,
"I've made a whole lot of mess, I should start cleaning" I said scanning the environment, I stood up, ready to tackle the mess, but Trini's firm grip on my arm stopped me.
"Let me do it, Lunawyn," she insisted. "You've had a terrible day. Just rest."
I shrugged, feeling a pang of guilt. "No, I'll do it. Those words don't hurt me anymore."
Trini's expression softened, but her grip remained firm. "I'm not just talking about the words, Lunawyn. You're exhausted. Let me help."
I hesitated, but Trini's determination was hard to resist.
"Go to my apartment and rest," she suggested. "I'll finish cleaning up here."
I shook my head. "No, I won't leave you with all this work."
Trini's smile was gentle. "Please, Lunawyn. Let me do this for you. You've been through enough."
Her words struck a chord. Maybe I did need a break.
"Okay, fine," I relented. "But just for a little while."
Trini nodded, relief washing over her face. "I'll call you when I'm done."
I nodded, grabbing her keys and heading out of the apartment. As I walked to Trini's apartment, I felt a mix of emotions: gratitude, exhaustion, and a hint of sadness.
I opened the door to Trini's cozy apartment, dropped onto the couch, and let out a deep sigh. The silence enveloped me, a welcome respite from the chaos.
I closed my eyes, letting my mind wander. Trini's kindness and concern meant the world to me. Maybe, just maybe, I could find some peace amidst the turmoil.
I settled into Trini's couch, feeling my eyelids grow heavy. The softness of the couch and the quiet of the apartment lulled me into a state of relaxation. I let out a deep breath, feeling my muscles unwind.
As I drifted off to sleep, I thought about Trini's kindness. She always knew how to make me feel better. I smiled, grateful for her presence in my life.
But my peaceful slumber was short-lived.
I was startled awake by a loud crash, followed by the sound of shattering glass. My heart racing, I sat up, disoriented. What was going on?
I looked around, checking the surroundings. Trini's apartment was in disarray. Her coffee table was overturned, and her vase lay shattered on the floor.
I threw off the blanket and rushed to investigate. That's when I saw it: a piece of paper on the floor, with a message scrawled in red ink.
"You're not safe."
My blood ran cold. Who could have done this? And how did they get into Trini's apartment?
I felt a chill run down my spine. I was being watched.
I quickly grabbed my phone and dialed Trini's number. She answered on the first ring.
"Lunawyn, what's wrong?" she asked, concern etched in her voice.
"Someone's been in your apartment," I said, trying to keep my voice steady. "There's a message...it says I'm not safe."
Trini's gasp was audible. "Oh no, Lunawyn. Get out of there, now."
I didn't need to be told twice. I grabbed the keys and made a dash for the door.
But as I reached for the handle, I realized something.
I wasn't alone.

I trudged into my apartment, the weight of my mistakes bearing down on me like a physical force. The door creaked shut behind me, echoing the emptiness that had taken up residence in my chest. My face felt like a mask, frozen in a expression of guilt and regret.
"What have I done?" I muttered to myself, raking my hands through my hair.
That ill-fated tour I'd taken Lunawyn on still haunted me. I'd thought I was doing her a favor, showing her the city's hidden gems. But Alpha Luciano's words had sparked a fire in her, and now she was gone.
"Why did I take her to that place?" I cursed myself, pacing back and forth across the room. "What's wrong with Alpha Luciano, anyway? Who does he think he is, making Lunawyn so angry?"
"Lunawyn, why did you have to run?" I whispered, feeling a pang in my chest. "I never meant to hurt you."
I thought back to our friendship, the laughter, the adventures, the quiet moments when it was just us. Had I taken her for granted? Had I been so caught up in my own world that I'd neglected hers?
I flopped down onto my bed, staring up at the ceiling. The darkness seemed to close in around me, suffocating me.
"This is all my fault," I muttered, my voice cracking. "If only I'd listened to Trini, if I had let her take Lunawyn on the tour"
Memories flooded my mind: Lunawyn's bright smile, her infectious laughter, her fierce determination. I'd always admired her strength, her resilience.
But now, she was gone.
I threw my arm over my eyes, feeling a stinging sensation. I'd never felt so helpless, so lost.
"Lunawyn, come back to me," I whispered, my voice barely audible. "Please, forgive me."
The silence was deafening, a reminder that I was alone in my regret.
I lay there, lost in thought, my mind consumed by what-ifs and maybes.
As the darkness deepened, I knew I had to make things right. I had to find Lunawyn, apologize, and prove that she was more special despite what the alpha thinks about her.
With a newfound determination, I sat up, my eyes fixed on the door. I'd find her, no matter what it took.
But for now, I was left with the echoes of my regret, and the haunting question: "What if I've lost her forever?"
