Luciano's Pov
I felt a relief from florian words as it echoed in my head.
But I totally forgot that today was our anniversary. I couldn't just show the expression, so I quickly wished her back
"Happy anniversary" I never actually took our relationship serious since I knew we will never get married. The moon goddess didn't bond us together that was why.
She's been the one pushing this relationship even to this extend.
"Why did you trick me?" I asked her looking at her
"I had to babe, you never took me seriously, so if I had told you to come you wouldn't..." she paused as she sat up straight on her bed.
"I knew you totally forgot, even when I called you showed no sign of remembrance" She continued, feeling so emotional about it.
I didn't feel for her because my heart and my wolf didn't align with her. Every of my being was in total disagreement with her.
"Nether the less, can we proceed. I have alot in store for us babe" she said, but I shrugged
"No, I can't I'm busy" I said. Her expression immediately changed from happy to sad
"Why babe?" She asked
"I can't, I came because I couldn't lose any other person" I replied, she stared at me emotionally.
She wanted to speak but she couldn't. I left her house not wanting to prolong the issue. I never liked her alot I'm just still with her so the elders of this pack won't have to take the throne to another family.
I entered into my car and drove off. I didn't feel any sign of sympathy for her.
I reached my pack and walked straight to my room. I didn't want to see anyone. Oh I forgot there was no one to see.
I entered my room took an alcoholic wine, and a glass cup. I sat on my bed and put the wine and glass cup on the ottoman, as I opened the wine and poured on the cup until it reached the brim.
I gulped it down once, thinking it would actually help but it didn't.
I felt a mix of emotions, but I didn't know why.
I drank another cup, till the last drop of the wine entered my mouth.
I bounced on my bed and looked up to the ceiling.
"Maybe, just maybe everything will be fine soon" I muttered beneath my breath as I could smell the alcohol coming out from my mouth.
I shrugged and went into a deep slumber.
Few hours later I woke up, feeling so drowsy. I managed to get up from the bed, my whole body ached.
I growled as I walked to the window. I leaned on it looking at the city view.
My room was at the last floor of the pack's building, so I could see the city from here.
The sun was already setting on the horizon. And it's evening sunshine brought beauy to the entire pack. Reflecting on it's skyscrapers and vegetation.
I let out a sigh staring at every little detail my eyes could meet. I got distracted as I heard a knock on the door.
"Alpha your food Is ready" the voice said at the other end I didn't actually had appetite but I had to eat I have been rejecting meals because of the problems I think about.
"Ok, bring it to my room" I replied as I heard her footsteps retreating downstairs.
And I continued looking at the beautiful view. Deep in my thoughts as different memories flushed in my head. As my father's word rewind in my head like a dad set.
"A alpha is useless without his trusted people, workers and civilians"
Lunawyn's Pov
Now I was ready to say the truth so I answered the question he asked.
"I didn't migrate, I overheard about Alpha Luciano's choosing bride contest. After striking a deal with Luciano, I was black mailed" I said.
He rubbed his chin "blackmailed how?" He asked
" my sister accused me of stealing her man, so I was expelled from the pack" I said
"Is your sister cruel" he asked. I nodded.
"So how did you find your self at this pack"
"I went to meet alpha Luciano who took me in..." I paused
"That's was how I got to this pack" I continued he seemed satisfied with the questions. He wanted to speak but he held aback zipping his words.
"Ok my men will take you to the pack's building, if there's any other thing you would like to say this is my number call me" he said bring out a paper card from his suit pocket.
I took it and exited the cabin with a few men who escorted me.
Asking waking a long distance, I could see the pack building from a distance. This cabin was very far from the pack's building.
"We'll go from here ma," one of the men as they all retreated back into the woods.
I walked towards the pack's gate and pushed it open. It was already dark. I walked to the entry door only to find Trent and Trini there with some few guards.
"Lunawyn!" Trini ran towards me and embraced me and Trent eyes widened as he smiled.
We walked towards them "Welcome back Lunawyn" one of the guards said. As they all retreated back to their duty post.
"What happened?" Trent asked. As he and Trini waited for me to reply.
"It's a long story, but I'm sure to tell you two" l replied. They both sighed in relief as they took me into the pack's building.
We entered my room and I sat on the bedlooking at the two of them as they stood there like servant.
"Won't you guys sit down?" I asked with a giggle.
Just then I felt my stomach rumble. I haven't eaten in a while. I felt so hungry and I asked Trini
"Can you get me something to eat"
