Trini rushed out of the room, towards the kitchen. I was starving my stomach rumbled simultaneously as I held it.
"Take it easy I'm sure she's already on the way" Trent said, but his words was of no help I looked at him with a frown.
"I'm so hungry Trent" I said. And Trent went to the door checking if she's already coming
"Be fast" He said but he was not talking to me he was talking to someone outside the door then i knew that Trini was already here.
She entered into the room with a trail of food, just what I wanted enough food.
She gave it to me and I ate. But I didn't rush it not yo disgrace myself in front of Trent. But I ate fast.
Dipping my hand into the varieties as I put them in my mouth. I licked my lips. I could feel the concern gazes of Trent and Trini on me. I became too uncomfortable with their gazes, so I asked Trini and Trent to join me. But Trent shrugged "don't worry I'm fine" He said he didn't want to join me. But Trini rushed to the bed and dipped her hand into the meal.
We ate in laughter. And the night wind sang telling the stories of God know what. And the wolves howled as the moon shined above the sky.
Soon we were done eating. And Trent has already left my room, it remained only me and Trini.
She gazed at me wanting to start a conversation "what really happened Lunawyn?" Trini asked concerned.
I shrugged but I had to let her know about the truth.
"The beta isn't dead" I said. She gasped in shocked.
"How?, how is he not dead...." she stammered. Before continuing "the news has already reached the whole pack".
I furrowed my brows "the news is a lie. It was faked" I said
She was shocked as her eyes widened. Her expression a mixture of doubt.
"I saw him I wasn't kidnapped. He sent his men to take me. He wanted to ask some questions..." I paused
"He wanted to ask so.e question to know who is behind all this" I continued.
She widened her eyes and opened her mouth in shock she wanted to talk but I quickly hushed her.
"Don't say it out, don't tell anyone" I warned. She finally got to digest the truth. And the night became more quiet and dark.
We lay on the bed both looking at the ceiling I wasn't ready to sleep so I begged her to keep me company till I fell asleep.
"Lunawyn" she called me, and I shifted my gaze to her
"Yes Trini what's the matter?" I asked with alow and calm voice
"Promise me something" she said. I wondered what it might be, but no clue came across my mind.
"Promise me you'll never leave again, no matter what" she said her voice shaking with concern etched on her face.
I thought for a while before replying "I promise, I'll try" I said.
"No try is not enough promise me you'll never leave again" she forced.
"Ok, I promise" I said.
She sighed in relief as she looked at me and giggled and tears of joy fell from her eyes.
I felt pity for her and it made me cry too.
"I'll start going now" Trini said as she stood up from the bed I escorted her to the door. She opened the door and we gazed at each other and we hugged.
"Good night Lunawyn" she said as she left and I closed the door.
I went back to my bed and lay on it staring into nothingless with my face expressionless.
As memories flooded my mind. Not pleasant memories but memories that always fueled me with anger and rage. As I thought about my sister, she didn't earned that title in my life. The person I thought earned it was Trini she had always filled in that space in me.
I lay on my bed as I felt my eyes closing, I was already tired I had to sleep. I closed my eyes and doze off.
Luciano's Pov
I couldn't sleep my eyes fixed to one place as I thought about Lunawyn. I couldn't sleep. Every minute of thinking about her my heart will beat making my eyes open.
I was madly in love with her. I knew this feeling will eventually subside but it was later.
This was not the first time I had this feeling from her. I always had it if I think about her too much.
I got distracted from my thoughts as my phone rang on my bed.
As went to check and saw that it was florian. "Why is she calling me?" I muttered to myself and hissed.
I stared at it as it rang. I didn't want to pick, I now wish to end the relationships. But I can't not now, not now when the elders are on my neck about, getting married.
After a while the phone stopped ringing. I lay on my bed, with the endless calls that disturbed me.
I turned to look at my phone screen and I wasn't surprised when I saw 20 missed calls, this was not the first time that she has given me such missed calls.
As another ring was about to enter I switched off my phone. So I could enjoy the serenity.
I adjusted the pillows and lay my head on it thinking of what type of means I could use to talk back to Lunawyn.
I went through my head thinking of different ways, to the extend I got lost in my thoughts.
I didn't just got lost in my thoughts but I was distracted by other memories that rushed in like a tidal wave.
As an alpha you had alot of responsibility, but what actually mattered the most to me was my own happiness.
I couldn't risk it for anything. I paused as I thought of an idea.
