I ran to my room and locked the door behind me and I leaned on it.
I wasn't angry at Luciano but I felt ashamed. I actually wanted to kiss him but I didn't had the guts.
I walked towards my bed and bounced on it. Bouncing me up and down the way my emotion was inside me.
I reached for my phone feeling the need to call luciano. As I was about to dual his number I held aback, and I ended up texting him.
"I'm not mad at you we can try again if you want" I typed it on my phone and clicked on the send icon.
It loaded for a about 10 seconds before it showed sent.
I sighed in relief. As I stood up from my bed ready to take a shower. I entered the bathroom and turned on the shower. As the water ran through my body.
Few minutes I was done bathing. I tied my towel around my chest. I came out of the bathroom and waited at the door of the bathroom to let my body damp body dry.
I walked towards my wardrobe to change, and then I went to my bed to sleep.
I lay on my bed still trying to recall every memory of me and Luciano. I giggled as I thought about the one's that made me shy.
Luciano's Pov
"What a quick sleep" I said and yawned. Bringing my hands to my mouth and covered it. As I slowly opened my eyes trying to let it adapt to the sunlight in the room. It felt like my sleep lasted for only minutes. I stretched out from my bed waving back and forth as I felt drowsy.
I held the wardrobe waiting for the sensation to wear off. But it didn't even showed any sign of subsiding.
I entered my bathroom and washed my face. It made the drowsiness subside a little.
I took my tooth brush and brushed my teeth. I was done brushing my teeth. I entered my wardrobe and pulled off my clothes and took my exercise clothes, I wanted to jug.
I left the room. And walked towards the exit door. I exited the pack's building. I went to the pack's gate and exited the pack's building premises. I jogged through the private road. The road was long about how one mile or two, and the sides, with vegetation: grasses and trees.
I jogged for an hour. On my way home, something happened. I could see some one behind the bushes. I walked towards the bushes and squinted my eyes, trying to observe who was behind the bushes.
I saw the person approaching me. And to my surprise: it was Victor.
I gasped in shock as my eyes widened as Victor emerged from the bushes. "Victor? Is that you?" I asked with my voice trembling, as questions raced through my mind: is this a ghost?
Victor chuckled, his smile warm and familiar. "The one and only, Alpha."
My eyes narrowed, with doubt etched on my face. "But...you're dead. I saw your body."
Victor's expression turned somber. "I know what you saw, Luciano. But I'm here, alive and breathing."
I gazed at Victor's face, mysteriously, seeking answers. "How? What happened?"
Victor gestured to a nearby clearing. "Let's sit and talk."
We sat on the grass, with my eyes fixed on Victor.
"I wasn't attacked." Victor began. "My attackers attacked the wrong person thinking it was me." He said.
My mind reeled. As her widened my eyes in shock.
"I had to stay hidden till further notice, so I could resolve some things" he said
I gripped Victor's arm and tightened my grip. As I felt sober. "I thought I'd lost you forever. You have no idea how much I've missed you." I didn't believe this words escaped my mouth.
Victor's smiled at me. "I've missed you too, Luciano. And I see you're still as rugged as ever."
I laughed, a mix of relief and joy. "You're one to talk, Victor. It's look like you hadn't had sleep in days." I said.
Victor shocked his head "I couldn't sleep"
As we sat in comfortable silence. "Speaking of which, how much do you know about Lunawyn?" Victor asked
"Not, much I only knew she's from a neighbouring pack. Cursed by her family to return." I said
"Why ask?" I asked him.
"Lat few days I took her. And interrogated her to know why people are after her life. I started by asking about her past" he said
My eyes sparkled with curiosity. "What do you want to know about her?"
"Everything," Victor replied, his eyes sparkling with interest. "Her backstory, her passions.... and about the real truth about her life."
Victor's locked onto mine waiting for answers. "Tell me." He said
"I told you everything I knew" I replied seeing the curiosity on his face.
"Can you help me ask her may be she'll open up everything to you...." he paused and searched around the environment.
"Maybe she'll tell you why people are after her life" Victor continued.
"Okay I'll try but I won't force her to talk. I just got her back" I said.
Victor quickly retreated into the bush. I wished he could stay. But I get it, it was for his own safety.
I stood up and left. Walking towards the pack building.
I arrived at the pack's building and went to my room. I took a quick shower Wasing away all the sweat from my body. Soon I was done. I put on casual clothes sat on my bed. I took my phone and on it only to find Lunawyn's message.
"8 hours ago" I said being shocked at the time the message delivered. I read the message and my cheeks flushed red. And smile erupted my face.
"Ok Lunawyn, sorry for the late reply" I wrote back to her, noticing that she wasn't angry but ashamed
