Victor's Pov
Two Days later.
I rubbed my chin staring into nothing. "Who really is this Lunawyn" I muttered under my breath. And why was she in this pack?
I gazed into nothing as thoughts raced through my mind, what is that girls main aim here?
"I'm due she's dangerous, we need to keep a close eye on her" I muttered.
"Only one night, that Luciano spent with her made him forget all his memory...... maybe she has a spell and her aim is to destroy this pack...." I muttered to myself.
I signaled one of my most trusted men. He came to me and I motioned for him to bend down. He did bend down and I moved my mouth closer to his ear "You know lunawyn right?" I whispered.
He nodded. "Ok good, keep a close eye on her I want you to watch her every move.....if she does anything bad bring her here." I said he stood up and said "understood sir" and he left the cabin.
"I will investigate every last detail about that lunawyn, for the safety of this pack" I said tapping my chest.
And then a thought crossed my mind. I nodded as the plan might work quite well.
"Let me go meet Luciano...." I said "let me go ask him some questions" I continued and stood up from my chair. This wasn't going to be an easy task but I had to do it for the safety of the pack.
I left the cabin and ran admist the woods, I reached the pack's building but I didn't come out from the bushes. To my surprise Luciano was even already there. Sitting on the grass, in the pack's building premises.
"Luciano" I called out his name, he turned to look at me. But I quickly hid behind the trees having a rethink. "Might he even remember me?" I asked my self.
Luciano stood up from the grass as he slowly walked towards the bushes inspecting them.
"Who's there?" He said with a commanding and firm voice. I came out of the bushes, "it's me Victor.... your beta" I said raising my hands up, to show him I was completely harmless to him.
"Who's Victor? and what's a beta?" He asked, my eyes widened in shock "he's totally forgot everything." I muttered to myself my voice barely audible there was no use talking to him.
He didn't remember anything. I walked back into the bushes lurking away. I was held aback when I heard another footstep. I turned to look at Luciano and saw that Lunawyn was coming close to him.
I hid in the back of a tree to notice what she wants to do.
"I'll spy on you myself"
Lunawyn's Pov
I came outside, to stretch a little in the pack's building premises. I saw Alpha Luciano who was searching for something behind the bushes.
I was excited to see him but I remembered that he won't even remember me, even though I go meet him.
I walked to him, "Alpha Luciano what's the problem?" I said but he gasped in shock.
"Nothing just doing some few stretches" he replied with lie telling all over his face. But whatever let me try talking to him maybe he'll remember me.
"Alpha Luciano I want to ask you something?" I said. He turned to gaze at me surprised.
"And what may that be?" He asked.
"Do you still remember me?" He looked at me wearing a confused face.
"No, I don't.... I lost my memory" he said. I bent my head disappointed. Why won't he just remember me, I thought.
"Please you're bothering me, I need more time" he said. Bothering him, his words ecohed in my head. I felt heart broken.
"Please try and remember me" I begged with tears rolling down my eyes. He looked at me expressionlessly.
"Why should I try, you're just a commoner" He said nonchalantly with a calm voice. Sarcasm was etched in his word.
I felt my heart sink as his words hit me deeply. I ran seeing that there was no use. He would never get his memory again since there was no cure.
I ran to my room. I entered my room and locked the door. I stayed at my crying spot and started crying.
Should I leave this pack without returning? I thought but I couldn't I've already made countless promises to Trini and Trent that I wasn't going to leave anymore.
But I couldn't face this things anymore, I was tired I wanted to run.
Two years when the moon goddess granted me a new life I thought it will be more sweet and everything will go smoothly for me.
I thought exploring a new path of destiny would be fantastic, but it wasn't. Everything has made me learn a lesson: even though you are granted the chance to change your destiny over and over again.
Every choice you'll make shape that destiny, and when they are too many bad choices you fail. But when you choose choices rightly you progress but they were still challenges to face ahead.
"Or have I been choosing bad choices?" I asked myself unsure. Even though I was making good or bad choices I wouldn't know. Because you'll still have to face challenges.
I got distracted from thinking when I heard a knock on the door. I quickly got up and cleaned my eyes. As I opened the door it was Trent.
He hugged me and whispered to my ears "you been, crying please don't.... give someone else a chance."
His hugged brought comfort to my body. "Just all I needed...." I muttered and let out a long sigh "attention" he held me closely. We looked at each and my eyes locked onto his we fell on the bed and we laughed.
"You look beautiful" he said, his voice calm and hid expression warm. My cheeks flushed red, I giggled before saying "thank you"
We kissed and something went through my mind.
Was I making the right choice?
