I left the room walking towards the kitchen I knew I was going to get humiliated there, but I must try not to show that I care, if not they'll think I'm inferior.
I reached the kitchen and the deadly glances if the maid shocked me, do they jate me that much, I thought.
"She's back.... Maybe to take more food, cause she didn't had much in her ex-pack" They mocked and laughed, I looked at them. And smiled I "looks like you're having a bad day?" I asked with a calm voice. This was one manipulation techniques I saw online,
So I wanted to use in them to see if it'll work. They looked at me surprise, "bad day.... What's she talking about?" They asked being stunned by my response.
"You don't just seem to get it" I said and dropped my plate, they looked even more confused, as I walked out of the kitchen a smile formed on my face. I walked towards my room, in the hallway I caught sight of Trent.
We walked towards each other "hey?" I said nervously as my eyes blinked.
"Hey, how are you?" He asked and smiled.
"I'm good and you?" I asked trying to be cool, he looked at me and pulled me by my waist "I'm fine" He said with a calm voice he kissed me,
I wanted to stop, but I later found myself wanting for more "stop not out here...." I paused as I gently removed his hand from my waist and moved back. "Maybe another time" I said, he looked at me with a warm smile "ok, sorry if I was too clingy" he said.
"No you're not, just that this place is too open... with might be seen" I warned, before looking at his eyes one more time before leaving.
I opened my door and entered inside, "were have you been? You took an eternity to drop your plate" Trini said worried. "What took you so long?" She asked with worry etched in her face.
"Nothing, just the maids trouble" I lied, she quickly stood up from the bed angrily "you mean those maids?!" She said and held her fist, I quickly held her back, "I'm just joking!" I said "they didn't cause any trouble something happened" I added, my cheeks flushed red.
She looked at me strangely, "what happened?" She asked serious, I continued smiling. "Wait...wait.... Has Alpha Luciano remembered you?" She asked with curiosity etched on her face.
"Uh.... No not him, someone else" I said rolling my eyes. "Then who is it?" She asked.
I took a deep breath in and finally broke the truth to her "it's Trent... We kissed one day, and.... Today too" I said. She widened her mouth in shock "you mean Trent?" Sha asked for clarity.
"Yeah, Trent" I said and held her shoulder and went to sit on the bed,
"I'm still in shock....." She paused as she sat, "like when or how did it start?" She continued. "Me too... Like I don't even know.... That day I was down and the person I saw was Trent..... He came to me and we kissed" I said with my cheeks flushing red.
"So you mean you're in love with him?" Trini asked arching her eyebrows. "Not in love but we just getting started....." I said as a frown appeared on my face, "I don't even know if he's the right one" I continued.
Trini held my shoulders "I won't encourage you and I won't discourage you" she said.
"I have to go..... Later" Trini said geeting up from the bed. I stood up with her to excort her to the door, she opened the door and went away. I shut the door and went to my bed to sit.
As I was going back to my sit I had a sign, I stumped my left leg into something, and anytime this happens it's not good.
I sat on my bed, having different thought "what bad things might have happened?" I asked myself, the words slipping out from my mouth without my will.
And bounced on my bed, still thinking what might has happened. This wasn't any joke anytime I had this something terrible always happen.
I stood up from my bed feeling a need to refresh, I walked to my wardrobe and took out my robe. I got into the toilet and turned on the shower.
Few minutes later I was done. I came out from the bathroom and walked towards my wardrobe, I took out an essential oil, and applied it gently on my skin.
I pulled off the robe and took a gown and shorts. I wore my shorts and wore my gown. I walked to my bed and sat down on it.
I sat too much to the extend my butt hurts, I lay down on my bed spreading my hands and legs as I gazed at the ceiling.
I was feeling sleepy, truly boredom makes someone sleepy. I closed my eyes to sleep but my sleep was short lived. I was disturbed by constant knocking on my door.
I yawned and stretched, "who's there?" I asked with a grumbling voice as I walked towards the door to open it.
I opened the door and it was Trini, tears welled up in her eyes as she looked at me, a knot formed in my belly. I held her and brought her in to sit. We sat on the bed and I asked her "what's wrong Trini?",
She wiped her tears and bent her head before looking at me again but she didn't speak. "Trini what's wrong!?" I asked this time with so much curiosity etched in my voice.
"The.... The Alpha...." She paused as she sobbed, I already felt sober "what happened to the Alpha?" I asked.
She took in a deep breath and exhaled, before saying "Alpha Luciano had a deadly accident" I was shocked I felt a whole emptiness inside me, I stared at a particular place expressionless as tears rolled down my eyes.
Just then I muttered to myself barely above a whisper
