                    Luciano's Pov.
My heart skipped, "now I get it.... What happened in that dream is exactly what's happening now...." I muttered trying to process the different thoughts that went to and fro in my head.
"Actually this, accident is a good news.... At least I got my memories back" I said, but the pain really hurts, but I'm sure that it was meant to be the sacrifice for me to get back my memories.
I was left alone in the room dark, there was inadequate lighting, the only source of light was the medical machine screen. The screen reflected blue lights.
I stared into the machine from my bed, I actually didn't understand a thing. All the letter were written in abbreviation or only two letter.
I saw my heartbeat rate on the screen, the way it was moving with sharp zig zags. I continued to gaze at it, with my eyes balls capturing every detail.
I turned to the other side looking away from the machine, cause I remembered something: blue light is not good in dark places,
So I don't get it why the hospital put a machine like this in a room with patients, when it can damage their eyes.
I was getting bored, I closed my eyes trying to get some sleep. Then I opened them again as I felt no sleep, my eye lids were energetic and wide open, for me not to sleep.
I turned again lying straight with my head facing the ceiling.
I lay there, staring at the ceiling, trying to make sense of everything. My memories were back, but the pain was still intense. I felt like I'd been run over by a truck.
Just as I was starting to drift off into thought, I heard the door creak open. "Hey, Luciano," a soft voice said.
I turned my head to see another nurse, with a kind smile and a clipboard in her hand. "Hey," I replied, trying to sound friendly despite the pain.
"How are you feeling?" she asked, eyeing the medical machine beside me.
"Like I've been hit by a truck," I joked, trying to lighten the mood.
The nurse chuckled. "Well, you did have a pretty bad accident. But you're lucky to be alive." She paused, studying me. "And it seems like your memories are back, too."
"The doctor sent me to check up on you" She added.
I nodded, feeling a mix of emotions. "Yeah, they're back. But I'm still trying to process everything."
The nurse nodded sympathetically. "That's understandable. It's a lot to take in. But you're doing great, Luciano. Just rest and focus on recovering, okay?"
I nodded, feeling a sense of gratitude towards her. "Thanks...I think I'm going to try to sleep now."
The nurse smiled. "Sounds like a plan. I'll check on you later, okay?" She turned to leave, but paused at the door. "Oh, and Luciano?"
"Yeah?" I replied, looking at her.
"Don't worry about the blue light from the machine. It's not going to damage your eyes or anything. We just need to monitor your vitals closely."
I nodded, feeling a sense of relief. "Okay, thanks for letting me know." But how did she know that I talked about the machine. Or are they watching I thought as I turned around searching for cameras.
"There you are" I said as I spotted a camera at the corner of the room.
The nurse smiled and left the room, leaving me to my thoughts once again. I closed my eyes, trying to drift off to sleep, but my mind was still racing...
As I lay there, I couldn't shake off the feeling that something was off. My memories were back, but they felt...different. Like they'd been altered somehow.
I tried to focus on the pain, on the sensation of my body healing, but my mind kept wandering. I thought about the accident, about the dream I'd had. And then I thought about her.
Lunawyn.
My heart skipped a beat as I remembered her smile, her laugh. I remembered the way she used to make me feel, like I was the only person in the world. But because of memory lost I treated her badly.
But as I delved deeper into my memories, I realized that something was missing. A chunk of time, a piece of my life that I couldn't quite recall.
I frowned, trying to remember. But the more I thought about it, the more my head hurt.
Just as I was starting to get frustrated, I heard the door open again. This time, it was a doctor, a tall, imposing figure with a kind face.
" Alpha Luciano, how are you feeling?" he asked, his voice deep and soothing.
I tried to sit up, but a wave of pain washed over me, making me, I gasp. The doctor rushed to my side, helping me lie back down.
"Easy, easy," he said. "You need to rest. You've been through a lot."
I nodded, feeling a sense of gratitude towards him. "I know. I just...I'm trying to remember something."
The doctor's expression turned serious. "What is it that you're trying to remember, Luciano?"
I hesitated, unsure of how to explain. "I don't know. It's just...there's this gap in my memories. This chunk of time that I just can't recall."
The doctor nodded thoughtfully. "I see. Well, Luciano, it's not uncommon for patients to experience memory loss after a traumatic event. But I assure you, we're doing everything we can to help you recover."
I nodded, feeling a sense of relief. But as I looked into the doctor's eyes, I couldn't shake off the feeling that he was hiding something from me.
The door creaked open and I saw some guards and another doctor.
The doctor walked to me, checked the medical machine, and asked "Sir, are you willing to go home?" He turned to gaze at me.
I thought for a while, then concluded "yes sir, home feels better more better than a hospital" i actually like getting home treated than a place where the smell of pills will make me have headaches.
"Ok sir we'll pack your drugs and proceed with your home treatment arrangements....." He paused and turned to the direction of the guards.
"You can take him home tomorrow.... He is responding to treatment a lot."
