I slowly opened my eyes, to the white ceiling, the sun didn't reflect through the windows. I stood up from my bed, as I stretched walking towards the windows to open them.
I raised the curtains and hanged it into the iron protector, I slid the window to the left, and it was dark, there was no sun or reflection of light in the sky.
"Where did the sun go?" I asked myself yawning as I went to the shelf and unplugged my phone. I raised it to my face and switched it on.
"6: 02" I muttered. I was shock actually, cause I don't wake up this early, I'm not even sure I've woken up by this time in my life.
Anyways there's no thing to debate, nature knows why. I walked towards my bed and lay down. I closed my eyes trying to sleep, but I couldn't, even in the type of quiteness? I thought.
I tried recurring what normally causes this. But I didn't actually remember. I sat up straight from my bed, and used my hands to drag the bottom of my eyelid,
"Sleep.... please come....." I begged like if I was talking to a human.
"Or should I just go outside?" I said debating the choices to make, "I'll just go outside," I concluded and stood up from my bed, I took my phone and my ear piece,
I walked towards the door and shoved my legs into my slippers. I opened the door and yawned still feeling restless,
I came out from the room, and walked through the hallways, it was as quiet as a grave yard. I reached the pack exit door and sighed.
I went to take the keys from a iron rod that was placed inside the wall. I took the keys and opened the pack exit door and pushed it open.
I looked outside the fresh breeze hitting my face brought comfort to my body. I closed my eyes as I felt so comfortable,
I opened my eyes and sat at the stairs resting my back on the pavement. I plugged my earpiece into my phone, and inserted them into my ears.
I turned on my phone and went to my music app and played my favourite music, it was titled: a thousand years.
The song was based on romance, I loved everything about the song, I especially tge tone and meaning. If a particular music wants to attract me it should have good tone and words should relate with what the song is about.
As I was about to switch off my phone my eyes caught sight of the time, "6: 54" I muttered and switched my phone off.
I closed my eyes as I shked my head gently following the beat.
I said the lines of the song silently, still feeling the vibes. I mostly said the part that hit the most.
I opened my eyes, and saw someone behind the bushes, I quickly dropped the earpiece from my ears. And stood up gently.
The person looked at me without moving anymore, I felt my whole body shaking all of a sudden, I was really scared.
I stood up wanting to go inside, as I ran my eyes still into the bushes trying to spot tge man, as my legs did their work.
"Ahh" I bumped into someone, I fell due to tge impact and looked at who was there.
It was a guard, I felt a shiver run down my spine, it wasn't because of the guard, but because of the fear I had when I bumped into him.
"Ma'am what are you doing out here?" He asked, he wasn't the only guard there, some other guards were behind him.
"I'm just taking some air.... I couldn't sleep" I said trying to stay cool. If I had told them that I saw someone behind the bushes they wouldn't have believed me, and they would think I'm a fool,
"Tgen ma'am why were you running?" A guard from behind him said. I had to tell him.
"I thought I saw someone inside the bush..... but it's nothing just my imagination..." I said and smiled.
"Ok ma'am the Alpha is coming so we want to give him a royal welcome." The guard in front of me said, as they walked pass me.
"Go wake the gatekeeper." The cheif guard said pointing to one of the guard to go do it, the guard nodded with a tight face as he walked towards the gatekeeper quarters.
I would actually loved to stay to see the welcoming of Alpha Luciano and huge him tightly, but even though I wanted to he would push me away cause he wouldn't remember me.
The guard stared at me seeing I was lost deep into my thoughts. "Ma'am what's wrong?" He asked, with concern etched on his face.
"Nothing, just thinking about something" I replied,
"Ok ma'am" he said and looked straight ahead, I bent my head thinking I was going to get another heartbreak if I stay out here. As I was about to go inside, I saw the reflection of a car headlight shining into the pack's building.
I turned to see who that was and saw it was one of Alpha Luciano cars parked right outside the gate, the gatekeeper opened the gate and Alpha Luciano's car drove in,
The guard formed a formation, a straight line in honour to welcome Alpha Luciano.
The car door opened and Alpha Luciano came out of the car holding a walking aid,
"Not the kind of entry I expected." I words were barely audible, as I mocked him, but what did I expect he just survived from a fatal accident.
He struggled to walk leaping towards the exit door, the cheif guard quickly assisted him caressing his shoulders as he assisted him towards the door,
He reached the exit door and saw me he was shocked, I bent my head straring at the ground,
"Hello Lunawyn.... I know I've done wrong... I'llmake it up to you" he said My heart soften a little as I looked at him.
