                    Luciano's POV.
"He did?" I asked I was so shocked, I couldn't let him get the job the havoc he caused before was enough my wolf instincts tells me that his up to something.
"Should I approve him?" Victor asked, with a weird expression on his face. I ignored him for about a minute.
I battled with myself, because one side of me believed in second chances, but the havoc he caused was a lot.
Flashback.
After several days of staying in the forest, we were all tired. We couldn't predict our enemy's move. Unknowingly to us, Henry, my cousin, has been telling our next moves and locations to the enemy.
We've been running without rest because everywhere we intended to stay, we got ambushed. It was like we were watched and couldn't hide.
We all should have died if not for Victor. He brought out a good plan, but the plan was shared between only me and him. "We should use ourselves as bait and let the enemy come after us... but unbeknownst to them, they will be surrounded, because I will tell my best men to attack them," he had said.
The plan sounded so good that I agreed. Earlier the next day, we were surrounded; there was no way to run. I scanned the faces of my men, and they were scared and anxious.
Just then Henry walked to the enemy's side and started giving out a long speech that he was one of them and had been giving our locations out.
I was surprised; I couldn't still comprehend that Henry could do such a thing. We got everything under control, so I wasn't scared.
"Victor!" I said signaling for him to tell the men to ambush them.
They were all ambushed and taken to the dungeon, including my cousin.
He was out a few days ago.
End of flashback.
"Should I approve him?" He asked again,
"Yes, approve him...." Victor's expression made me pause."Yes, approve him... I believe in second chances," I responded and took a sip from the coffee.
"Hmmm... Americano and its flavor," I said and licked my lips before returning to marking the paperwork with my signatures.
Later that day, I was almost done with signing the signatures; my whole finger ached badly.I took the mug to take another sip of coffee, but it was empty. I couldn't stay like that without drinking it; the coffee was the only reason I was sitting here filling this paperwork with my signatures.
It wasn't that easy because I had to read it first before signing. I admired Victor's zeal, the way his eyes were locked onto the laptop, the reflecting light of the laptop shining on his face,
"Victor... I want to go take some more coffee," I said, standing up from the chair. He nodded, his gaze still locked onto the laptop.
I left the room holding the mug in my hand. I walked towards the elevator, I reached the elevator and pressed the button, and I stood there for about half a minute before the door opened and I went in.
I pressed the first floor button, and the elevator took me directly to the first floor.
The door slid open, revealing me to different faces who stood at the door. I walked past them, and they greeted me. I walked to the coffee machine and turned it on.
When the mug was filled slightly to the brim, I turned off the machine; everyone's eyes were locked onto their laptops, working excessively.
They were not this serious with work before, but this sudden change started today. Maybe Clara told them what made her get her promotion... so they're trying to put in their best, I thought.
I smiled, satisfied with what I was seeing; barely a few workers turned to look at me, and there was not much chattering and murmuring anymore.
I used my hand to cover the mug and walked towards the elevator and entered it with some more workers.
We stopped at different floors as the elevator got emptier and emptier until we reached the floor.
I came out from the elevator and walked to my office.
I stood at the door in shock. Victor was already done; he was folding the laptop. "Wow, you're done," I said with a stunned expression. He nodded and held the laptop under his armpit.
"I'll be right back; I want to go give this laptop to the maintenance section so they'll charge it," Victor said. I went into the room and dropped the coffee on the table before sitting down on the chair.
I continued with my work filling in the paperwork; I sipped from my coffee and rested a bit. I yawned loudly and stretched like someone who was just waking up from sleep.
"Thai work is stressful," I said with an annoyed face. I sipped again from the coffee and took my pen, then dropped it again.
"I'm so tired," I said as my mind thought about Victor. He hasn't returned since. "Where is he?" I asked myself, staring at the door.
There was no sign of him, so I continued to fill in the paperwork; just when I was done, he came in.
"Where have you been?" I asked.
"It was just some workers gossiping about you... they said maybe you were dating Clara secretly; that was why you gave her a promotion to be the assistant CEO," he said.
I was shocked; why must people always talk? I thought, "Who are these girls? What floor are they on? I need to reach them some lesson." I yelled.
"Chill, bro... I've taken care of it already," Victor said, trying to calm me down. I stood up from the chair and held the paperwork in my hand. "Let's leave I'm done with this paperwork. I said, We both came outside from the room, and I locked the door as we were about to leave." Victor halted. "Take this; it is Clara's fingerprints. Maybe you can do the settings now." Victor said handling a little paper to me with a printed fingerprint on it,
I took it and did some settings,
"I'm done."
