                    Luciano's POV
I left the room with Victor and Clara behind me, a smile fixed on my face. As we walked into the elevator, my eyes locked onto the elevator door as it took us up. "Ping." The elevator door opened, and we walked out towards my office. Our footsteps echoed around the thick walls.
We reached my office, and I opened the door before entering. Clara had stopped following us, entering her own office as the elevator dropped us off. Victor sat on the couch in my office, looking relaxed. As he did his cuffs
"So, do we have any other work to do?" Victor asked, spreading his legs and hands wide, and straightened his tie.
"No... I don't think so," I replied, sitting on the spin chair. "Let's wait and see if she comes in," I added, turning the chair around, feeling nonchalant. Victor rested on the chair fully, shoving his phone into his pocket before bringing it out again.
I shifted my gaze to the coffee machine behind me, scanning it to see if it was refilled. But I couldn't see it, so I turned it on. Yes, it was refilled. I smiled, taking my mug from the shelf. I briskly walked to the water dispenser, pouring a tiny amount of water into the mug to rinse it from dust. Then, I walked to the coffee dispenser and placed my cup underneath the tap, turning the machine on. It beeped for about a minute before pouring out the liquid from his tap.
"Hmmm, the scent of Americano," I said, closing my eyes to savor the aroma and the steam. I turned the machine off as the coffee reached the brim of my cup. I went back to my seat, taking a sip of the hot coffee. I continued spinning on the chair, feeling carefree.
I brought out my phone and opened a gaming application. I started playing, my thumbs moving quickly over the screen. Victor looked at me, a mixture of amusement and curiosity on his face.
"You're really relaxed, aren't you?" Victor asked, raising an eyebrow.
I nodded, still playing the game. "Yeah, I am. I just hired a new employee, and I'm feeling pretty good about it."
Victor nodded, going back to his phone. We sat there in silence, the only sound being the tapping of our thumbs on our phones.
As I played, I thought back to the new employee I had hired. Henry, my cousin brother. I had every right to turn him down, but something about his words struck a chord in me. I believed in second chances, and I was willing to give him one.
I took another sip of my coffee, feeling the warmth spread through my body. I was happy with my decision, and I knew it was the right one.
As I finished my coffee, I set the mug down on the desk, feeling content. I leaned back in my chair, still spinning slowly. Victor looked at me, a smile on his face.
"You're really enjoying that game, aren't you?" Victor asked, chuckling.
I nodded, still spinning. "Yeah, I am. It's just what I needed to unwind."
Just then Clara walked past the door holding the board in her palms. "Sir, I've rearranged all your schedule the way it will be suitable for you," Clara's voice echoed in the room. I paused the game and shoved my phone into my pocket before raising my gaze to her.
"Ok, good...." I complimented with a satisfied look on my face. "So! Bring it; let me see," I said. She walked briskly to the table, dropping the board for me to see. "So, sir, this is it," she said.
I took a quick glance at it, my eyes scanning all the important meetings and agreements. "Ok, I'll start with the meeting," I said. Victor shoved his phone into his pocket and stood up, waiting for me.
"Ok, sir, they're on the 15th floor, sir," Clara said. It seemed like they'd been waiting for me. I nodded, taking one last look at the board.
"Let's go," I said, standing up. Victor followed me, and we walked out of the office. We walked into the elevator, and I pressed the button for the 15th floor.
As we rode the elevator, I went over the meeting in my head. I knew what I had to do, and I was ready. The elevator doors opened, and we stepped out onto the 15th floor.
As we walked into the meeting room, I could feel the tension in the air. The room was filled with the top executives of our company, all of whom were werewolves. We were here to discuss the latest developments in our business, and I could tell that everyone was eager to get started.
I took my seat at the head of the table, with Victor to my right. The others took their seats, and we began the meeting.
"First item on the agenda," I said, looking around the table. "The recent attacks on our supply chains. We need to discuss how to address this issue and prevent future attacks."
The room erupted into a cacophony of voices, each person offering their opinion on the matter. I listened intently, taking mental notes of the various suggestions.
As the discussion continued, I could feel the tension in the room growing. It was clear that everyone was passionate about this issue, and emotions were running high.
Just as it seemed like we were making progress, the door burst open and Henry rushed in. He looked frantic, his eyes wide with worry.
"What's wrong, Henry?" I asked, my voice firm but concerned.
Henry took a deep breath, his chest heaving with exertion. "Sir, it's... it's about the Alpha," he said, his voice trembling.
I felt a surge of adrenaline at the mention of the Alpha. What could be wrong? I leaned forward, my eyes locked on Henry's.
"What is it, Henry?" I asked again, my voice low and urgent.
