Luciano's POV
We followed her, walking past the lobby, her luxurious red heels echoing around the thick interior of the building. We stood there, waiting for the elevator door to open. "Ping!" The elevator door slid open, we entered the elevator, and she pressed the 3rd-floor button.
As the elevator took us up, I looked around its small area. The ends were made up of soft fabric, making it have a comfy scent. The elevator door slid open again, and we were at the 3rd floor. We walked out of the elevator and walked towards a door that could be seen from a distance.
Lunawyn's hand and my hand were still locked onto each other tightly. Tomorrow's party was going to be big because no one ever misses the middle year festivals, especially parents whose children were going to get their wolf that day.
We reached the door, and the woman pushed it, revealing a large room. In the room was a great deal of luxurious clothes. Lunawyn's eyes widened as she looked around the room. "Wow, this is amazing," she said, her voice filled with excitement.
I smiled, looking at her. "I know, right?" I said. We started picking out clothes, looking for the perfect outfits for the party. The manager, a middle-aged woman with a kind smile, approached us.
"Welcome, welcome," she said. "Let me help you find something amazing." She walked over to a rack of clothes and pulled out a beautiful white dress. "This one is from Paris," she said. "It's made from the finest silk and is perfect for a special occasion like this."
Lunawyn's eyes widened as she looked at the dress. "It's beautiful," she said. The manager smiled, pleased that Lunawyn liked the dress.
I looked at Lunawyn, then back at the manager. "We'll take it," I said. The manager smiled, happy with the sale.
As we continued to pick out clothes, the manager told us more about the origins of the different pieces. We learned about the designers, the materials, and the history behind each item. It was fascinating, and I found myself getting caught up in the stories.
Lunawyn seemed to be enjoying herself too. She was laughing and chatting with the manager, asking questions and learning more about the clothes. I watched her, feeling happy and content. This was what I wanted—to spend time with the people I loved, doing things that made us happy.
We left the room, walking hand in hand towards the elevator. We stepped inside, and the doors closed behind us. We went upwards, the counter being our destination.
As we left the elevator, we walked towards the counter. The woman behind the counter gave us a flashing smile. "Goodbye, Alpha Luciano," she said, her voice cheerful.
I waved back at her, smiling. Lunawyn and I left the building, walking towards our car. We had loads of clothes in our hands, the bags rustling as we moved.
The sun was shining down on us, casting a warm glow over everything. Lunawyn looked beautiful, her hair shining in the sunlight. I felt happy being with her and knowing that we had a fun day ahead of us.
We reached the car, and I opened the door for Lunawyn. She smiled at me, and I smiled back. We loaded the clothes into the car, the bags piling up in the backseat.
Finally, we were done. We got into the car. "Thank you for today," Lunawyn said as she stared into my eyes. "I had an amazing time." I smiled back at her, feeling happy and content.
"I'm glad you enjoyed it," I said. "I had a great time too." I started the engine with my right hand on the wheel and my other hand holding Lunawyn's palm. We held each other hand in hand, feeling happy and excited for the party tomorrow.
As we drove down the road, Lunawyn couldn't stop talking about the clothes. "I'm so happy with what we got," she said, her eyes shining with excitement. "Thank you so much, Luciano."
I smiled, feeling happy that she was pleased. "You're welcome," I said. "I'm glad you liked them."
Lunawyn squeezed my hand. "I loved them," she said. "You have great taste."
I chuckled. "Thanks," I said. "I try my best."
We drove in silence for a while, the only sound being the hum of the engine. I glanced at the GPS, seeing that we still had 20 miles to go before we reached the pack house.
"Hey, are you tired?" I asked Lunawyn, looking at her.
She shook her head. "No, I'm fine," she said. "Just enjoying the view."
I smiled, looking at her. She was beautiful, and I felt lucky to have her by my side.
We drove for a few more miles, the scenery outside changing from buildings to trees. I could smell the forest, and I knew we were getting close to home.
Lunawyn looked at me, a smile on her face. "I'm so excited for tomorrow," she said. "I know it's going to be a great day."
I smiled back at her, feeling happy and content. "Me too," I said. "Me too."
As we drove, I turned to Lunawyn. "Hey, did you disconnect your phone from the GPS device?" I asked.
Lunawyn nodded. "Yeah, I did it when we got to the mall," she said.
I nodded, feeling a sense of security. "OK, good," I said.
We drove for a few more minutes, the darkness outside illuminated only by the car's headlights. Suddenly, the pack house gate came into view, the headlights shining on the metal bars.
I blew the horn twice, and a figure emerged from the gatehouse. The gatekeeper, a tall, imposing man with a kind face, waved at us as he opened the gate.
We drove through the gate and into the pack house grounds, parking in the parking lot. We got out of the car, Lunawyn taking the dresses from the backseat.
As we walked towards the pack house exit door, I noticed how quiet it was. The building seemed empty, everyone having gone to sleep.
We parted ways at the door, and I escorted Lunawyn to her room. "Goodnight," I said, smiling at her.
Lunawyn smiled back. "Goodnight, Luciano," she said.
I left her at her door and headed to my own room, feeling tired but content. I climbed into bed, falling asleep quickly.
