Lunawyn's POV.
Luciano's eyes lit up in shock. "Whoa, time is fast today," he said.
"Yeah, I think you should start dressing up; we have to be at the event by 10 pm," Victor said.
"This time I will schedule you.... Clara is not here to take it easy on you. Because I'm not going easy... I'll make sure everything you're supposed to do today is done at the appropriate time that it was scheduled." Victor said and walked towards Luciano; he held his palm and dragged him up.
Luciano let go of my palm and stood up. "Go and get dressed," Victor said.
"And Lunawyn, we might need some privacy; you can use the opportunity to get dressed too," Victor added. I nodded and flashed a smile before leaving the room.
I walked up the stairs, lost in thought, when I saw Trent coming from the opposite direction. My face lit up with a smile as I called out to him. "Trent!"
He raised his gaze, his eyes locking onto mine, and a huge grin spread across his face. "Lunawyn!" he exclaimed, rushing towards me.
We hugged each other tightly, like we hadn't seen each other in years. "Lunawyn, it's been a while now," he whispered into my ears, his voice filled with warmth.
I let go of him, and he looked at me with concern. "What happened? You just disappeared," he asked, his brow furrowed.
I shrugged, trying to downplay it. "Nothing, just been busy," I said, trying to sound casual.
Trent smiled, his eyes crinkling at the corners. "This pack house is so huge... it's like a whole city," he exaggerated, chuckling. "I've been asking people if they've seen you, but they always tell me you were in your room."
I laughed, feeling a little guilty for not being more visible. "Yeah, it's easy to get lost in this place," I said, smiling.
Trent nodded, his expression turning serious. "I was worried about you, Lunawyn. I'm really glad to see you're okay."
I felt a warmth in my heart at his concern. "Thanks, Trent. I'm glad to see you too," I said, smiling up at him.
He looked at me, his eyes roaming over my face. "You look beautiful, Lunawyn. As always," he said, his voice low and sincere.
I felt a blush rise to my cheeks, but I tried to play it cool. "Thanks, Trent. You look pretty great yourself," I said, smiling.
Trent grinned, his eyes sparkling with amusement. "Thanks, I try my best," he said, chuckling.
We stood there for a moment, just enjoying each other's company. Then Trent spoke up, his voice a little more serious. "Hey, Lunawyn? Can I ask you something?"
I nodded, curious. "What is it?"
But before he could ask his question, I heard Victor's voice calling out from downstairs. "Lunawyn, we need to get going soon! Don't forget to get dressed!"
I rolled my eyes good-naturedly. "Duty calls," I said, smiling at Trent.
He nodded, smiling back. "I'll catch you later, okay?" he said before turning and heading back down the stairs.
I watched him go, feeling a little wistful. It was nice to see Trent again, and I was looking forward to catching up with him later.
I headed to my room, my mind still on my conversation with Trent. It was great to see him again, and I was looking forward to spending more time with him.
As I entered my room, I saw my dress for the evening laid out on the bed. floor-length gown in a deep silver-black color that matched the moon. I smiled, feeling a little excited for the evening ahead.
I quickly got dressed, doing my hair. But something was missing.
"My makeup," I remembered.
"I have to call Trini." I said, but just then I heard a knock on my door, "Who's there?" I asked.
"It's me, Trini." My eyes lit up in shock; it was like everything just started happening, well, and they happened just when I needed them.
She opened the door and came in. She was dressed in her gown, a dark blue-colored gown that matched with her eye color.
"Can you please do my makeup?" I begged; she didn't even frown or argue. "Since today is going to be a wonderful day, and you're going to be with Alpha Luciano, I'll do it," she said. I smiled in satisfaction.
"So where are the tools?" She asked; I didn't have much makeup equipment; in fact, I didn't even have 1-2% of the makeup materials in the world.
"Just some lipsticks and hair packers," I said. She rubbed her chin for a bit. "Those can't do the trick, but I'll see what I can do," she said.
She started with styling my hair. It seems like I had taken my time to do what was trash; I thought, when she was done, she started by applying some lipsticks on my lips.
After minutes of styling,
She was done. I looked at myself in the mirror she handed over to me. I was gorgeous; the hair I had suffered to do before was redone. And it was more well arranged and shining; I had no clue of how she did that.
"Argue with the results," she said, and stood there staring at my face.
Just then, I heard a knock at the door.
"Come in," I called out.
The door opened, and Luciano stood there, looking handsome in his tuxedo. "Ready to go?" he asked, offering me his arm.
I nodded, taking his arm. "Let's do this," I said, smiling.
"Good day, Alpha Luciano," Trini greeed and bowed slightly. "How's your day going?" He asked, referring to Trini.
We all left the room and headed towards the pack house exit door, where Victor and Trent were waiting for us. Victor looked dashing in his tuxedo, and Trent looked handsome in his suit.
The canopies were all outside, decorated with artifacts and paintings. I looked at it in satisfaction,
"What a wonderful work," I said.
