                    Lunawyn's POV.
Luciano turned to look at me walking towards my direction, "Hey Lunawyn... You're already dressed," he said and smiled.
I smiled at him back before replying, "Yeah, I'm done.... Nice tuxedo," I said; he smiled.
"Yeah, you look beautiful as well," he replied, while Victor's gaze was just over his phone screen; I smiled.
I remember when we used to be enemies, when he thought I was the problem affecting this pack, but now we're just cool.
"Hey Lunawyn... Nice dress; you really have nice eyes for things like this," Victor complimented, shifting his gaze to me, my cheeks flushed red, making me giggle softly.
"Thank you, Victor. Luciano bought it for me," I said, shifting all the credit to Luciano. He couldn't hlp it but smile as he held my palm.
"Let's go, Lunawyn; there are already people waiting outside the pack house," Luciano said, and we walked downstairs, feeling carefree and contented.
I could see Trent and Trini from a distance. They held each other's hand and smiled at each other.
They didn't notice us until we were so close to them.
"Happy, middle-year festival Alpha Luciano," Trini and Trent said in unison like they'd already planned to say it.
The moon shone brightly, unlike before; its luminous light brought life to the event. The canopies were filled with people, and a special space was left for the main event.
A big tree was cut down on the space; I was very sure it was going to be burnt for lighting up the night.
The scene was beautiful; the garden vines were tucked open for people to sit on the soft grass and enjoy the view.
Like said, the moon follows us everywhere we go, and that's true because for werewolves, it's in our heart.
As we arrived at the event, I could feel the excitement in the air. The venue was packed with people, all dressed up and looking glamorous.
We made our way through the crowds, shaking hands and exchanging pleasantries with the other guests. I felt a little overwhelmed, but Victor and Luciano were by my side, guiding me through the crowds, while Trent and Trini had run off to the garden.
As we reached the center of the space, I saw the host of the evening, a well-known businessman, standing at the microphone. He welcomed everyone to the event and then introduced the guest of honor.
I listened, fascinated, as the guest of honor gave a speech about their latest charitable endeavors. It was inspiring to hear about the good work they were doing, and I felt a little humbled by their dedication.
As the speech came to an end, the host announced that it was time for dinner. The room erupted into a flurry of activity as the guests made their way to their seats.
We found our table, and I was relieved to see that Luciano was sitting next to me. We chatted and laughed as we waited for the food to arrive, and I felt a little more at ease.
For once in my new life, I've felt important and special to people because of Luciano's influence; I felt free and satisfied.
As the evening wore on, I found myself having a great time. The food was delicious, the decorations were good, and the atmosphere was lively.
I turned to Luciano, who was chatting with other guests. I tapped him gently, getting his attention. "Luciano!" I said,
He turned to me, a questioning look on his face. "What's the problem, Lunawyn?" he asked with a calm, affectionate tone.
I hesitated, unsure of how to phrase my question. "Do you feel like something's off?" I asked, trying to sound casual.
Luciano's expression turned serious, and he leaned in close. "No, all the decorations are in place, and the guests are even happy about it," he said.
I shrugged. "No, it's not about the decorations; I'm having a woozy feeling," I replied.
I felt a connection with someone from my past that was here, but I didn't know who it was.
"Ok… maybe it's the cold; should I take you inside?" He asked with concern etched in his tone.
"Yeah, maybe I'll come outside later for the real event," I said. He nodded and helped me stand up, but the crowd was too tight; we couldn't pass through easily.
Just then I bumped into someone, but I didn't catch the person's face quickly as my gaze was lowered to the ground.
"Ouch," I said, and I raised my head quickly to see who it was. I could only see the half side of the person's face, and it looked so much like my sister.
I gasped in shock, "Lunawyn, what's it?" Luciano asked concernedly as I tried catching my breath, as my heart skipped from the kind of fear that enveloped me just now.
"Luna… what's it?" He asked again, this time more concerned and afraid.
"Nothing just felt colder." I lied; he nodded. I looked at him, trying to put my words together. "Luciano, did you invite any other person away from this pack to this event?" I asked, and he stared at me with confusion etched on his face.
"Yeah... The event is open for everyone, even enemy packs; probably other guests who are not from this pack might be here," he replied.
That meant that the person I saw just now was my sister; I tried to gain composure not to answer any further questions.
"Lunawyn, why did you ask?" He asked.
"Just wanted to know how friendly you are with other packs... Because the crowd was too big," she lied.
Luciano nodded and proceeded with taking me inside, i jolted back "luciano don't take me inside anymore i want to stay with you throughout the night... But please do not welcome any new guest close to me, or don't show them my face, introducing me to them," I said.
He nodded, and we walked back to our seats.
I felt a surge of disappointment, but I knew that Victor wouldn't interrupt us unless it was important. I nodded, standing up with the others.
