Lunawyn's POV.
"Who's there?" Luciano's voice erupted from inside the room,
"It's me, Lunawyn," I said. I could hear his footsteps coming towards the door, the door was opened revealing Luciano, a gentle face, he had a warm smile on his face.
"Hey, Lunawyn," he said, "how has your day been?" He asked; I slipped into the room, avoiding his questions.
"I came here to take my dress... I had forgotten it yesterday," I said; he smiled.
"Oh yeah, I saw it in my wardrobe," he replied.
"Hey, Lunawyn," Victor said, smiling. I smiled back at him, "I'm fine, and you?" I asked; he smiled.
"I'm good." He said, I reached Luciano's wardrobe and opened it; I saw my dress there in his wardrobe.
I brought it out and smelled it; the smell of the perfume was still fresh on it.
Then I remembered I had still come here to take all those perfumes to my room.
"And I want to take those perfumes," I said, smiling.
"Okay, they're there," Luciano said, pointing to a small box. It was a new one, untouched and still packaged; his tapes were still on it, holding the box together.
My eyes lit up in confusion. "Luciano, did you arrange all the perfumes inside here?" I asked.
"No, that box is a new order. I bought all the perfumes that you said you like. I thought giving you the one I had before would make me feel like you're not special, so I bought you new ones so you'll feel special." Luciano said,
My cheeks flushed red. "Are you serious?" I asked to be sure I had heard well.
"Yes, I'm serious; I bought another new set of the perfumes on my vanity," he said, smiling.
He straightened his suit, ready to leave for work.
"So Lunawyn, how do I cook?" He asked smiling; I looked at him smiling.
"Good," I replied, making him blush.
"So I think I'll leave now. I got my dress," I said, and turned to leave; I could feel Luciano's warm stare on me.
I reached my room and entered it. I locked my door. Before I dropped the dress on the ground, I took out a small steel that I could use to cut the tapes out from the package.
My eyes lit up in delight seeing the various types of perfumes. "Wow... I love them," I said to myself. And arranged all of them inside my wardrobe since I had no vanity.
I just wanted to use the opportunity to rearrange my clothes, the ones that the maid had helped me wash. I could feel a piece of sheet, the sound of rustling paper, inside the clothes.
I gently followed the noise of the cloth,
That's when I saw it—a small note in between the clothes. I picked it up, wondering who could have written it.
As I read the note, my eyes widened in surprise. It was from Luciano, and all it said was:
"Meet me in the garden at midnight. Come alone."
I felt a shiver run down my spine as I read the note. What did Luciano want to meet me about? And why did he want me to come alone?
I looked at the clock on my wall, wondering how much time I had before midnight. I had a feeling that this meeting was going to change everything.
I was sitting on my bed, staring at the note in my hand, when I heard a knock on the door. "Who's there?" I asked, looking up.
"It's Trini," a voice replied from the other side of the door.
I smiled and got up to open the door. Trini was standing in the hallway, a bright smile on her face.
"Hey, girl," Trini said, as we hugged each other.
I stepped aside to let Trini in, and she walked over to my bed, where she sat down.
I sat down next to her and held out the note. "Look at this," I said.
Trini's eyes lit up as she took the note from me. "What's this?" she asked, her eyes scanning the paper.
"Why is Luciano telling you to come to the garden?" Trini asked, looking up at me with an unsure expression on her face.
I shrugged. "I don't know why," I said.
Trini nodded, and then her eyes started sniffing around the room, like she was chasing a certain scent of perfumes.
"Got ya," Trini said, her eyes landing on the vast number of perfumes on my dresser. "Wow, you've got a lot of perfumes here."
I laughed. "It was a gift from Luciano," I said.
Trini's eyes widened in shock, but her expression quickly returned to normal. "Oh, that's nice," she said.
I nodded, smiling. "Yeah, it was really sweet of him."
Trini looked at me, a curious expression on her face. "So, what do you think Luciano wants to talk to you about?" she asked.
I shrugged again. "I have no idea," I said.
Trini nodded, and then she stood up. "Well, I'll let you get ready for your meeting," she said. "But be careful, okay?"
I nodded, smiling. "I will," I said.
Trini hugged me, and then she left my room, closing the door behind her.
I sat back down on my bed, staring at the note in my hand. What did Luciano want to talk to me about? And why did he want me to come to the garden alone?
Anyways, it was going to be romantic. I stood up from the bed, checking the time on my phone; it was 11:46 pm, and she needed to get ready fast.
I went into the bathroom and took a quick shower. I came out of the bathroom, dried my body, and put on a knee-length gown.
I wore the gown before spraying just a single perfume, the one that'll keep my scent stable.
I came out of the room and walked towards the exit door; the cold breeze hitting my face brought total comfort to my body.
I reached the garden and stood there, waiting for him to come.
