                    Lunawyn's POV
Next day.
I woke up the next morning, pushing away the covers. As I sat on my bed, I stood up from it and opened the windows.
The fresh smell of flowers enveloped me; I smiled and walked into the bathroom with my nightdress on.
I applied toothpaste to my brush and scrubbed my teeth gently; soon I was done.
I left my room feeling thirsty, but I didn't want normal water; I wanted to drink something different, and then I remembered that Luciano had fixed the coffee dispenser.
I smiled, "Time to try that caramel macchiato," I said, smiling.
I walked into the kitchen to make some coffee; there was no one inside the kitchen; maybe the maids had not woken up.
My mind still racing from the whole Luciano thing, I mean, I knew he was trouble from the start, but there's just something about him that draws me in.
As I waited for the coffee to brew, I thought about my conversation with Trini. She was right; I did need to be careful around Luciano, but at the same time, I couldn't help how I felt.
I poured myself a cup of coffee and sat down at the table. Taking a sip, I felt a sense of calm wash over me. It wasn't until then that I realized how stressed out I had been.
Just as I was starting to relax, I heard a knock at the door. I got up to answer it, hoping it wasn't Luciano again, but when I opened the door, I was surprised to see Trent standing there.
"You're in the kitchen too," he said, surprised.
"Hey," I said, smiling at him. "What are you doing here? Do you want some coffee too?" I asked
He shrugged, not really sure. "I don't think I want to drink anything," he said.
"Just try," I said.
He looked at my face. "Ok... What are you drinking?" He asked.
"Hmmm, caramel macchiato," I said, with a French tone.
He laughed, "It really looks good on you," he said, still laughing.
"Thank you, I just tried my best," I replied, still laughing.
"Ok, I think I'll try it, though I don't drink sweet coffees, but I'll just try it," Trent said.
I stood up from the stool and went to the coffee machine. It brewed for a moment, and a cup of coffee came out from the opening.
"It's done, Trent," I said, and taking out the coffee from the opening, I walked towards him and gave it to him.
He looked at it with a weird expression, "What's it, Trent?" I asked, and he turned his gaze to me.
"I'm not just used to sweet coffee, especially early in the morning," he said, with a weird expression etched on his face.
"How do you know it's a sweet one?" I asked.
"Through its scent," he said, smiling. My eyes lit up in confusion. "It's not easy knowing the type of coffee you're drinking with just its scent," I said, but he just smiled.
"I worked in a coffee shop before I started serving my pack," he said.
"So you're patriotic?" I asked, smiling.
"Yeah, I'm patriotic," he said, a faint smile on his face.
"Nice knowing some things about you," I said, my gaze lowered onto the coffee on the table.
A mild sad expression appeared on his face. "Thanks, but we have to just keep it as friends, Lunawyn.... I'm with Trini, and you're with Luciano," he said.
I looked at him expressionlessly, "Ohhh... No wonder I saw the way you guys were clinging to each other at the festival," I said and forced out a laugh, trying to ease the sadness on his face, but he just stood up,
"See you later, Lunawyn," he said and left.
I felt sorry for him; he had been trying his best then to be enough for me, but I was so blinded by Luciano's presence.
And I'm not even his mate, so I didn't feel much attraction to him. I know he still felt something for me, so Trini wasn't fully in his heart.
"Anyways, it's fate."
I watched as Trent walked away, feeling a pang of guilt in my chest. I knew I had hurt him, and I didn't mean to; I just didn't feel the same way about him as he did about me.
I sighed and sat back down at the table, my mind racing with thoughts of Trent, Luciano, and Trini. I felt like I was stuck in some kind of weird love triangle, and I didn't know how to get out of it.
I took a sip of my coffee, trying to calm my nerves, but it didn't seem to be working; I was still feeling anxious and unsure of what to do.
I smiled as I came up with a plan: "I need to make Trent and Trini's love stronger." I said, with a newfound determination, I smiled.
"At least it'll make them have more time for themselves, and Trent could finally stay out of the way while focusing on a life with Trini," I said, nodding my head in satisfaction.
That was the only thing I could do right now; it seemed like I needed to concentrate more of my attention on Luciano, but first the plan now was to make Trini and Trent the most tight couples in this pack.
I could even persuade Luciano to start up a life for them. Even I knew the cost was losing them both, but I had to do it.
I looked at the hallway expressionlessly.
And then a maid walked into the kitchen. "Good morning, Lunawyn, how is your day?" She asked with a warm smile on her face.
"I'm good.... Just about to leave," I replied. I didn't want all those things I experienced with the other maids, so I had to leave now.
Before she could say another word, I left the kitchen and let out a long sigh. I walked up to my room and locked the door. I sat at my crying spot, the door, but this time not to cry but to form strategies to make everything work out.
"I pray everything works out as planned."
