                    Luciano Pov.
I stood up from my bed, not in quite a good mood. My instincts do not lie to me; there was something more to Lunawyn and Trent's friendly relationships, but Lunawyn didn't just want to say it out loud.
I walked to the window and raised up the curtains. I opened the window, and the fresh smell of nature embraced me.
I smiled and walked away from the window. I had prayed that I would not have much work to do today.
And I knew Clara had already turned down some companies because of the festival.
She was actually really helpful.
I was expecting Victor's cock anytime from now, because it seemed like I was already late. I picked up my phone from the bed and looked at the time.
"11:12" I muttered, The time had gone; why didn't I wake up early?
Then I remembered that after Lunawyn HD left, I was still at the garden till it was 1' o'clock in the morning.
I wanted some air; actually, I had planned something greater for that meeting yesterday, but it didn't just work out as planned.
And actually it was a win for me, because now she'll know I don't feel good anytime I see both of them together.
Don't get me wrong; I'm not a jealous person, just that I was scared, and I needed to protect Lunawyn and my relationship.
I walked into the bathroom with my shorts on; I pulled it off and hung it on the shower switch.
I turned on the hot shower, and I let the water flow from my head to my toes.
I heard my phone ring.
"Who might that be?" I muttered, I finished bathing, and came out of the bathroom. I opened the wardrobe and took out my robe. I put it on and walked towards the bed; I double-tapped on my phone screen, and the missed call notification popped up.
"Clara," I said. She had given me 2 missed calls, which meant it had to be urgent. I needed to call Victor to help me rush there so he could find out what's wrong.
I dialed his number, but he ended the call. "What's wrong with him?" I said, with an unsure expression on my face.
Just then the knock on the door made me jolt.
"Who's there?" I asked,
"Nothing is wrong with me." The voice said it was Victor; I chuckled.
But I couldn't just shake off the thought of why my room wasn't soundproof.
I opened the door, revealing Victor's expressionless face. I left the door back to the bed; I was planning on calling Clara back, but Victor is already here, so I can just use him instead.
"Hey, Victor," I said as I slowly tilted my gaze to him, "Clara called, but I didn't pick up because I was in the bathroom; it seems like there's a problem," I said.
He stared at me blankly. "Okay... So I'm leaving without you?" He said,
"Yeah, I'm not done dressing up... I've not even brushed my teeth yet," I said; he nodded.
"Okay, I'm on my way, but I'm taking your most expensive car." He said my eyes immediately lit up with refusal, but if I refused, it'll end as a choice: either he goes with the car or he won't go at all.
This was exactly what he was going to say, and it seemed like we didn't have any more time to waste, so I agreed with a frown on my face, "Okay, you can take it, but don't drive recklessly," I warned. He nodded and rushed to my drawer; he took the car key and walked towards the door. "Okay, we'll see later," he said and left.
"Are all the cars not the same?" I said, with a frown on my face, I took out my toothbrush and applied toothpaste on it, and I entered the bathroom and brushed my teeth.
I left the bathroom and wore my tuxedo. I took a quick glance at myself in the mirror before walking up to my vanity. I sprayed my perfume and walked up to the bed. I was ready for work.
I carried my briefcase from the wardrobe and walked to the shelf. I bent down, taking out some important documents.
I shoved the documents into the briefcase. I stood up and went to the bed to take my phone; as I picked the phone up, it rang.
I looked at the screen and saw it was Clara; she was calling again. I picked up the call.
"Hello?" I said.
"Good day, Luciano," she said at the other end.
"Let me guess, there's a lot of work?" I asked.
"No sir, there's a lot of paparazzi at the company's gate. They are all here to see Henry, and he's taking all the credit," she said, her tone etched with worry.
I know why she was worried, but that wasn't a problem at all. "Ok, don't worry; I'm already on my way. Tell the securities to drive all paparazzi away," I said.
"Sir, they've tried, but you know how hungry they are for information, so they won't just leave," she said.
"Ok, I'm on my way," I said and ended the call immediately.
"I knew that guy was up to something, but I was too gullible," I said, and exited my room. I locked the door and shoved the keys into my pocket. I walked down the stairs to the exit door.
I rushed to my car door and opened it. I entered the car and immediately turned on the engine.
I blew the horn, alerting the gatekeeper that I was going out; he opened the gate, and I drove out of the pack house.
Driving through the private road, my mind wasn't totally on the road, but I was planning a venomous quote I will tell Henry once I reach the company.
"Victor was actually correct," I said, and made a U-turn. I stepped on the gas harder and stopped after seeing a huge crowd in front of my gate.
