Victor's Pov.
The maids quickly got to work, chopping vegetables and stirring pots. The aroma of cooking food filled the air, making my stomach growl with anticipation.
"Is it going to take long?" I asked one of the maids.
"No, Beta Victor, it'll be ready soon," she replied with a smile.
I nodded and leaned against the counter, watching as they expertly prepared our meal.
After a few minutes, they announced that the food was ready. I thanked them and carried the trays upstairs to Luciano's room.
As I entered, Luciano looked up from his phone. "Ah, great timing," he said, putting his phone aside.
I set the trays down on the table, and we dug in, savoring the delicious flavors.
"This is amazing," Luciano said, mouth full.
"I know, right?" I replied, grinning.
We ate in comfortable silence, enjoying each other's company.
As we finished up, Luciano leaned back in his chair, looking relaxed.
"Thanks for getting food, Victor," he said, smiling.
"No problem, happy to help," I replied, smiling back.
We sat there for a moment, enjoying the warm glow of the evening.
Then Luciano spoke up again. "Hey, Victor?"
"Yeah?" I replied.
"Can I ask you something?" he said, looking curious.
"Sure, what is it?" I asked.
Luciano leaned forward, his eyes sparkling with interest. "Do you think Henry is trustworthy?" he asked.
I frowned, hesitating. How could I tell Luciano about my suspicions without sounding jealous?
"Just use what he's done to you before as an pathway to your answer " I said, trying all my best to not be sarcastic.
"Okay" He said.
I spent the remaining hours making some calls and sending messages to other pack leaders. It was my duty to make meetings with other pack and stuff like that.
I finished up my last call and hung up the phone. I took a deep breath, feeling a sense of satisfaction at getting everything organized.
"We're having a friendly pack leaders meeting tomorrow morning " I said.
Luciano nodded, "list the name of the packs and send it to me... I want to select" luciano said.
I nodded and did that, i sent it to him, "I've done it" I said.
I walked out of the room feeling the need to rest, Tommorow morning was going to be stressful with various talking and planning.
I entered my room feeling so tired. I pulled off my clothes, and went into the bathroom to bath,
I turned on the hot shower. Soon i was done and i came out of the bathroom, and waited at the bathroom door for my body to dry up.
I walked tomy wardrobe and took out a short. I wore it, and sat on my bed, i had only one call left for me to do.
I needed to call my most trusted man, and tell him to investigate on Henry.
I dialed his number, and he picked up on the second ring,
"Hello" I said,
"Hello sir, long time" He said,
"I need you to investigate, on Alpha luciano cousin, Henry" I said
"Ok sir I'll do just that" He said.
I ended the call, and lay on my bed to sleep.
*Next day*
I rubbed my eyes and gently opened them, I yawned, and stood up from my bed, i blinked,
"Need to dress up" I said and walked into the bathroom and quickly took my bath, few minutes later i came out of the bathroom and walked towards the wardrobe, i pulled off the shorts and wore another one,
I brought out my tuxedo, and wore it, i walked to my vanity and sprayed my perfume.
I could hear noises from downstairs, laughing and chatter, they were already here, the pack leaders.
I walked out of the room, ready to join the others.
As I entered the living room, I was greeted by a sea of familiar faces. The pack leaders were all there, along with some of the other high-ranking members of the pack.
Luciano was standing at the front of the room, a confident smile on his face. "Alright everyone, let's get started," he said, his voice commanding attention.
The room fell silent as Luciano began to speak. He outlined his plans for the pack, discussing new business opportunities and strategies for growth.
I listened intently, impressed by Luciano's vision and leadership. He was a true alpha, and I felt proud to be by his side.
