Victor's POV.
As we stood there, basking in the glory of our victory, people started to gather around us, congratulating us on a job well done.
One of the first people to approach us was Mrs. Smith, one of our top investors. And our most remarkable partner. She's always been a straight shooter, and I respected her for that.
"Congratulations, boys," she said, a huge smile on her face. "You've done a fantastic job. I must say, I'm shocked. I had no idea Henry was capable of such things."
"We're just glad we could finally bring him to justice," Luciano said, shaking her hand.
"Yes, well, you've certainly done that," Mrs. Smith said. "I must admit, I'm a bit angry with myself for not seeing it sooner. But I'm glad I can finally say I never want to lay eyes on him again." She said smiling, she adjusted her lens.
"We feel the same way," I said, smiling.
Mrs. Smith nodded and patted us on the back before walking away.
We smiled in satisfaction, and I gave Luciano a thumbs up.
Next, Clara came over to us, a smile on her face. "Hey, guys," she said. "I'm so sorry I didn't show up earlier. Henry had threatened me; he said he'd shoot me if I brought anyone with me."
My eyes widened in shock, and Luciano's face darkened. "We're just glad you're safe," I said.
Clara nodded, forcing a smile. "Yeah, me too. I'm just glad it's all over now." She said there was still a small glint of fear in her; she isn't still relieved from the whole matter.
"We're glad too," Luciano said. "You did a great job, Clara. We couldn't have done it without you."
Clara smiled and hugged us both. "I'll be on my way to work now," she said before walking away.
As the day went on, more and more people came over to congratulate us. They all wanted to know how we'd figured out Henry's plan, and Luciano was happy to explain.
"One of our top workers was almost used by him," Luciano said. "He texted her, and she showed us. That's how we knew."
The people nodded, impressed, and asked more questions. We answered them as best we could, still on a high from our victory.
But as the crowd grew larger, the paparazzi started to arrive. They rushed towards us, cameras flashing and microphones shoved in our faces.
"Alpha Luciano, Victor, congratulations on taking down Henry!" one of them shouted. "How does it feel to have finally brought him to justice?"
Luciano smiled, his eyes gleaming with satisfaction. "It feels amazing," he said. "We're just glad we could finally bring him down."
Another reporter pushed forward. "Victor, can you tell us more about the plan? How did you know Henry was going to be here today?"
I shrugged. "We had our sources," I said. "Let's just say we were well prepared."
The reporters all nodded, scribbling furiously in their notebooks. "And what's next for you two?" one of them asked.
Luciano grinned. "We're just going to keep doing what we're doing," he said. "We're going to keep fighting for what's right, and we're going to keep protecting our pack."
The reporters all nodded, smiling, and the cameras kept flashing. We stood there, basking in the glory of our victory, knowing that we'd finally brought Henry to justice.
As the paparazzi continued to swarm around us, I turned to Luciano and grinned.
I nodded, feeling a sense of excitement for the future. We'd taken down Henry, and we'd come out on top. Now, it was time to see what other challenges lay ahead.
The reporters kept asking questions, and we kept answering. We told them about our plan and how we'd executed it. We told them about Henry's downfall and how we'd brought him to justice.
As the day wore on, the crowd started to disperse. The paparazzi left, and the reporters stopped asking questions. We were finally alone, and we could relax.
Luciano turned to me and smiled. "You know, that was a long day," he said.
I nodded, feeling exhausted. "Yeah, it was," I said. "But it was worth it."
Luciano nodded, and we stood there in silence for a moment. We'd done it. We'd taken down Henry, and we'd come out on top.
As we stood there, I felt a sense of pride. We'd done something amazing, something that would change our lives forever. We'd taken down a corrupt leader, business partner, and cousin. and we'd brought justice to our pack.
I turned to Luciano and grinned. "You know, we're not done yet," I said.
Luciano raised an eyebrow. "What do you mean?" he asked.
We left the warehouse and got into our car. Luciano was driving, and I was sitting next to him. We were both quiet for a moment, just enjoying the fact that we'd finally taken down Henry.
After a while, Luciano spoke up. "Man, that was a long day," he said.
i nodded "yeah it was" i replied
We drove in silence for a bit longer, then Luciano spoke up again. "You know we make a pretty good team," he said.
I smiled. "Yeah, we do," I said.
"Are we not even already a team? I'm your Beta... Do you forget that sometimes?" I asked, laughing.
"Ohh yeah... I do see you more than that, Victor," he said. I could feel my cheeks flushed red.
We pulled up to the pack house and got out of the car. We were both tired, but we were also feeling pretty good about ourselves.
We walked into the house and were greeted by our pack members. They were all congratulating us and thanking us for taking down Henry.
We smiled and thanked them, and then we headed to our rooms. We were both exhausted and just wanted to get some rest.
I lay down on my bed and closed my eyes. I was feeling pretty good about myself and our pack. I knew we still had a lot of work to do, but for now I was just going to enjoy the fact that we'd taken down Henry.
