                    Luciano's POV.
We both burst into laughter, "But who was that that was wrapped inside a white cloth? ... Everybody thought it was really you," I said, curious.
"Nah... It wasn't me," he said. "One of my men was attacked instead of me being attacked... So before I got there, he was killed," he added.
"Ohh, so it was the person's body you used in place of yours, right?" I asked.
He nodded "yes," he replied.
The elevator door beeped and opened.
We came out of the elevator, walking straight to our office. We saw Clara in her office; she was holding a pen, and her gaze was focused on her desk.
She might barely even know we passed.
I reached the office door and pressed my thumb on the handle; it scanned my fingerprint, and it opened.
We walked into the office and sat down. Victor sat on his spot, the sofa, while I sat on my spin chair.
Victor brought out his phone, and his hands went to and fro on the phone screen.
"Who are you chatting?" I asked; Victor stared at me for a moment; he didn't reply.
"Who are you texting?" I asked again.
"I'm texting my spy..." He finally responded.
"Ok, what are you telling him?" I asked.
"I'm just telling him to still keep an eye on Henry for a long time... That he should monitor his movements and stuff like that," he said.
"Okay," I said. I brought out my phone too, but immediately as I wanted to start using it, my eyes fell on the paperwork on the table. I still had a lot to do.
I groaned and dropped my phone on the table. I picked up a pen and began to sign. I had to read them because some had printing errors, so if I sign them and they're submitted, it won't correspond, and there'll be problems.
After minutes of signing the paperwork, I turned to Victor, whose eyes were locked onto his screen.
I should have told him to help me, but he can't because the only remaining paperwork to sign needs my signature, not anyone else's.
So he really had luck today; if not, I should have made his hand swell just like my own.
I continued singing; at least now I've gone halfway.
I raised my head up and stared at the door's direction only to see Clara standing there.
"How are you? Is there anything we can help you with? Or have you scheduled my task for today?" I asked, making Victor turn to look at her too.
Worry was etched on her face, and she wasn't looking good like she hadn't slept in a while.
"What's wrong, Clara?" I asked again. Then her face softened.
"Alpha Luciano I'm scared," she said, my eyes lit up. "Why? What's the matter? What's making you scared?" I asked about a million questions in a nanosecond.
"It's just that Henry is not in jail or in custody... He might surely come after me for revenge," she said. I got her point actually. It was actually enough reason to be scared.
"What if he kills me?" She said, tears welling up in her eyes.
Victor immediately stood up to console her, tapping her back. "It'll be okay," Victor whispered.
"We've got everything under control... We got people watching Henry 24/7, so never mind; you're safe," I said with a reassuring smile on my face.
I nodded, trying to reassure her, "We're not going to let anything happen to you, Clara. You're under our protection now."
Victor was still tapping her back, trying to console her. "It's okay, Clara. We're here for you. We're not going to let Henry hurt you."
Clara sniffled and wiped her tears with her hands. "I'm sorry; I'm just really scared," she said.
I got up from my chair and walked over to her. "It's okay, Clara, don't apologize; we're here to protect you," I said.
Victor stopped tapping her back and looked at me. "We should increase her security detail," he said.
I nodded. "Yeah, that's a good idea. We can't be too careful when it comes to Henry.
Clara looked up at us with tears in her eyes. "Thank you, guys; I really appreciate it," she said.
I smiled and put a hand on her shoulder. "Don't mention it, Clara; we're just doing our job."
Victor nodded. "Yeah, and we're going to make sure you're safe no matter what."
Clara smiled slightly and nodded, "Thank you."
I looked at Victor. "Why don't you go arrange for her security detail to be increased?"
Victor nodded and pulled out his phone. "I'm on it."
I turned back to Clara. "In the meantime, why don't you go get some rest? You look like you could use it."
Clara nodded. "Yeah, I think I will."
I smiled and nodded. "Good, we'll take care of everything. Don't worry."
Clara smiled slightly and turned to leave. "Thank you again, guys."
I watched her go and then turned to Victor. "Make sure she's got the best security detail possible."
Victor nodded. "I'm on it, Luciano."
I nodded and turned to go back to my chair. "Good."
Victor was still on the phone arranging for Clara's security detail to be increased. I sat back down in my chair and started signing the paperwork again.
After a few minutes, Victor hung up the phone and turned to me. "It's all arranged," he said.
I nodded, "Good."
Victor walked over to the sofa and sat down. "So what's the plan for today?"
I looked up from the paperwork. "I don't know what the plan for today is."
Victor shrugged. "I don't know either."
I smiled, "Well, it seems like Clara is not in a good mood for scheduling and stuff like that, so if I'm done with this paperwork, we'll go home."
Victor grinned. "Sounds good to me."
I went back to signing the paperwork, and Victor pulled out his phone and started scrolling through it.
After a few minutes of silence, Victor spoke up, "Hey, Luciano."
I looked up from the paperwork. "What's up?"
