Luciano's POV.
We finished picking out the clothes, and the manager helped us package everything up.
She carefully folded each item and placed it in a fancy bag.
Victor and I watched as she worked her magic.
"You know, I've never seen anyone package clothes as nicely as you do," Victor said.
The manager smiled. "Well, I like to think that presentation is everything."
I nodded in agreement. "I couldn't agree more."
Finally she finished packaging everything up and handed us each a bag.
"Here you go," she said with a smile.
We took our bags and thanked her.
"Thank you so much for your help," I said.
"no problem at all," she replied. "It was my pleasure."
We left the store and walked back to the car.
Victor looked in his bag and whistled, "Wow, they even threw in some free perfume."
I smiled. "Yeah, they definitely know how to treat their customers."
We got in the car, and I started the engine.
As we drove away, Victor turned to me and said, "You know, I'm really glad we came here today."
I smiled. "Yeah, me too. It was definitely worth it."
We drove in silence for a few minutes, enjoying the nice day.
Finally, Victor spoke up again. "Hey Luciano, can I ask you something?"
"Sure, what's up?" I replied.
"Do you think we'll ever be able to go shopping without being recognized?" he asked.
I chuckled, "I don't know, maybe one day we'll be able to sneak out without being noticed."
Victor laughed, "Yeah, right, like that's ever going to happen."
I grinned. "Hey, you never know; stranger things have happened."
We laughed and joked around for the rest of the drive.
Finally we arrived back at the pack house and pulled into the driveway.
We got out of the car and grabbed our bags.
"Thanks for taking me shopping today, Luciano," Victor said.
"No problem, Victor, it was my pleasure," I replied.
We walked into the house and were greeted by the rest of the pack members.
"How are you, Lunawyn?" I asked; she was sitting on the stairs in the back house exit door.
"Why are you here? Are you good?" I asked, and she gazed at me and Victor. "I'm good; I'm just here to take some air," she said.
"The cool evening air," I muttered.
"We'll see later then," I said and left, walking towards the stairs. I reached my room and opened the door.
"I'll just go freshen up in my room... Since we don't have any work to do today, I can just rest." Victor said and waited for my response.
"Ok... We'll see later then," I said and entered my room. I could hear him shut his door.
I sat on my bed smiling; I felt so satisfied. I pulled off my tie and unbuttoned my shirt; I dropped it on the floor and stood up.
"I need to do my laundry," I whispered and opened my wardrobe looking for dirty clothes.
A few minutes later, I was done selecting them out. I shoved the new clothes into the wardrobe and closed the wardrobe.
I came out of my room; I was looking for someone who'd do it. My eyes spotted a maid. "Hey, you!" I said getting her attention. She turned to look at me.
"Good day, Alpha Luciano," she greeted.
"Come and take some clothes from my room; I want you to do the laundry," I said. She nodded and briskly walked up the stairs.
She followed me to my room, and I showed her the heap of clothes on the floor.
She picked them up and went away.
I went to the bath, poured some water, turned on the shower, and got my bath.
I came out of the bathroom and cleaned my body with the towel hanger on top of my wardrobe door.
I put on some casual clothes, the free ones. The maid came in again, and I watched as she picked up the remaining clothes. As she was about to leave, I called her, which made her halt.
"Yes sir, what can I do for you?" She asked,
"I haven't eaten; prepare something for me to eat." I said she nodded and took the clothes and left; I grinned and straightened my bed sheet.
I sprayed some perfume on my body and sat on my bed. I reached for my phone and went through it.
After what felt like forever, she finally came with a trail of food. I smiled and watched her make her way into my room.
"Sir, here's your food," she said, handing it over to me. "Okay, you can take your leave now," I said.
She left, and I started to eat. I chewed the well-grilled steak.
After minutes I was finally done eating; I dropped the trail down and took the bottled water on it and drank.
I stood up from my bed to go drop the plate. I picked up the plate and left my room; I walked downstairs towards the kitchen.
I entered into the kitchen and dropped the plate. "Sir, you shouldn't have done it... You should have told someone to do it, sir." One of the maids said, I smiled. "Don't worry; it wasn't a big deal," I said. She smiled at me, admiring my kind heart.
I left the kitchen and walked back to my room. I entered my room and shut the door. I went to sit on my bed for a moment.
I checked the time on my phone. "6:27 pm" I muttered; I was already ready to sleep, but I didn't want to sleep now. I was looking for something to engage myself with.
I turned around in my room looking for something I could use to make myself busy and free from boredom.
There was nothing; I stood up from my bed to drop my curtains,
I dropped them and went back to sit, and then I just lay down; since there was nothing to do, I just wanted to sleep.
I closed my eyes and slept.
