Trini's Pov.
"Hmmm... It's really nice" I said before nodding my head in satisfaction.
They both smiled at me, "thanks we are the duo that never disappoints your tastebuds " they both said in unison and burst into laughter.
"Yeah that's true I'll be on my way now" I said and shoved another full spoonful into my mouth.
"Thanks for the company " They both said in unison, and i left.
I walked away from the kitchen feeling satisfied and content. The duo's laughter still echoed in my ears, and I couldn't help but smile. Their food was always amazing, and today was no exception.
They've been friends for a long time due to they were both fixed in the cooking part together. "I still do wonder how Casey is able to tolerate Mika" i said.
As I walked, I took another bite of the food, savoring the flavors. I thought about how much I loved trying new foods, and how the duo always seemed to know exactly what I was in the mood for.
After a few minutes of walking. I made my way to my room, feeling grateful for the peace and quiet. I closed the door behind me and took a deep breath, feeling the tension in my body start to release.
I walked over to my bed and sat down, taking another bite of the food. I thought about how much I loved my room, and how it always felt like a sanctuary to me. It was my own little space, where I could escape the stresses of everyday life.
As I ate, I started to think about my day. I had a few chores to do later, but for now, I was just enjoying the moment. I took another bite of the food, savoring the flavors and textures.
After I finished eating, I lay back on my bed, feeling content and full. I closed my eyes, letting the warmth of the sun seep into my skin. I felt my body start to relax, and my mind start to unwind.
I thought about Trent, and our conversations. I thought about the way he made me feel, and the way he smiled at me. I couldn't help but feel a flutter in my chest, and a smile spread across my face.
As I lay there, I felt grateful for this moment of peace. I felt grateful for the food, and the company. And I felt grateful for the chance to just relax, and be myself even around my friends.
As I lay there, I felt my eyelids start to droop. I was feeling sleepy, and I knew I needed to rest for a bit. I closed my eyes, letting the warmth of the sun seep into my skin. I felt my body start to relax, and my mind start to unwind.
Before I knew it, I was fast asleep. I slept for a bit, until it was mild evening. I woke up, yawning and stretching my arms. I sat up, rubbing my eyes and looking around my room. I felt refreshed and rejuvenated, ready to take on the rest of my day and do the remaining chores.
I stood up, dusting off my clothes and smoothing out my hair. I thought about the meal I had eaten earlier, and how delicious it was. I wanted to carry more of it, but I decided to wait until later. I had planned to eat it as dinner, and I was looking forward to it.
"I was going to make sure my plate is full of it" i said.
I came out of my room, and started doing the remaining chores. I worked efficiently, making sure everything was done to perfection. As I worked, I thought about Trent and our conversations. I thought about the way he made me feel, and the way he smiled at me.
After I finished my chores, I sighed and stretched. I was feeling a bit tired, but I knew I needed to eat dinner. I walked to the kitchen, my stomach growling with anticipation. As I reached the kitchen, I saw Casey and Mika scraping the remaining food into their plates.
My jaw dropped, "please don't tell me it's finished" I said, feeling a pang of disappointment. I had been looking forward to eating that meal all day, and now it seemed like it was all gone. I looked at Casey and Mika, hoping they would tell me there was more food left. But as I looked at their plates, I knew I was out of luck.
"Oh no," I said, feeling a pang of disappointment. I looked at Casey and Mika with pleading eyes. "Please, can you make another? I was really looking forward to eating that."
Casey and Mika burst out laughing. "Sorry, Trini," Mika said, chuckling. "We can't just whip up another batch. We're not magic cooks!"
I smiled, trying to persuade them. "But the food is so delicious! You guys are the best cooks ever. Please, can't you just make a little more?"
Casey and Mika exchanged a glance, and then shook their heads. "Sorry, Trini," Casey said. "We really can't. We've got other things to do."
I looked at them with puppy dog eyes, hoping to guilt them into making more food. But they just laughed and teased me.
Just as I was about to give up, Casey's expression softened. She looked at me with pity in her eyes. "Here, Trini," she said, holding out her own plate of food. "You can have mine. I was about to eat it, but I can always make myself something else."
I smiled, feeling grateful. "Really? You'd do that for me?"
Casey nodded. "Of course. But only if you promise to tell me if it's as good as you say it is."
I laughed, taking the plate from her. "I promise. And thank you so much, Casey. You're a lifesaver."
As I took the plate, I asked Casey, "Do you actually want to give me your food, or are you just feeling sorry for me?"
Casey smiled. "Honestly? I'm feeling a little bit of both. But mostly, I just want to see you happy. So yeah, I'm giving you my food from the heart."
I smiled, feeling touched by her kindness. "Thanks, Casey. That means a lot to me."
I took the plate and thanked Casey again before leaving the kitchen. As I walked to my room, I couldn't help but feel happy. I had Casey's delicious food all to myself, and I couldn't wait to dig in.
I opened the door to my room and slipped inside, locking the door behind me. I walked over to the window and stared out, watching as the sun dipped below the horizon. The sky was painted with hues of pink and orange, and I felt a sense of peace wash over me.
I sighed, feeling content, and sat down on my bed to eat. I took a bite of the food, and my eyes widened in delight. It was just as delicious as I remembered. I smiled, feeling grateful to Casey for her kindness, and dug in, savoring every bite.
