                    Lunawyn's POV
"Why?" The sound of Lykania voice bounced off the walls of my room as she barged inside.
She slammed the door hard as she walked in, visibly enraged.
I sat up straight and looked at her in boredom. "What is the fuss about?" I inquired, raising my brow at her innocently.
"So, you want to do things this way?" She erupted angrily, pointing fingers at me.
"Was this the reason you rejected your mate? You’re a whore. You stole the spotlight. Always stealing my spotlight. But, shockingly, he will not marry someone like you." She blurted out, nearly in tears.
I could not get over the look on her face when she saw Luciano and me exit the chamber.
She had a shocked expression, and her stares could send me six feet under.
At that point, I knew my deal was finalized. Luciano was kind to me, and his words still rang in my head.
"Your appearance is reminiscent of a leopard. Always daring to dive in with her catch."
It was a word that sent me reeling with joy.
On second thoughts, he arrogantly told me he would think about it, but with no one telling me, I knew he had already agreed to my request.
Why shouldn't he?
"Since you realized he would not get involved with someone like me. A whore, like me." I laughed "Why are you scared?" I inquired, causing her to stare at me in a deadly manner.
If someone else saw her right now, they would have no idea she was the same girl who was always caring and sweet to me.
"You are a whore." She screamed and dashed towards me in rage, but a loud bang on the door cut her insane mood.
Is this all because of a man who knows very little about you?
Everything was sweet to me. I loved her expression and how enraged she was at my actions.
That was exactly what she had done before. It was her turn now. Her turn to be in pain.
As the door opened, we both turned to face my angry father and calm mother, who were both staring intently at me.
It indicated that they had already heard about the situation.
"Lunawyn Cormar, I want to see you at the council meeting." He announced, and I gasped at the gravity of his words.
Council meeting?
That was not even part of my plan. I had assumed he would simply summon us both to his study, but now I was going to be judged in front of the pack members.
With that, he exited my room, and Lykania followed as my mother stood back and closed the door behind me.
This was the first time I would be alone with her in my room since waking up.
"Why are you determined to ruin things, Wyn?" Her voice was calm but steady when she spoke.
"Is all of this about the Luna title?" Are you suddenly eager to.....?
"Mother," I exclaimed angrily, rising to my feet.
Everything was emphasized in the Luna title.
"Mother, this has nothing to do with Luna's title, so can we just leave?" I inquired, causing her to stare at me in stunned silence.
Well, I am not sure where the confidence came from, but I never intended to be rude. Do not blame me.
I sighed in frustration and walked out.
When I arrived at the council hall, all eyes were on me, and I felt as if I could quickly pluck out their eyes without anyone noticing.
"Why did it take you so long to follow my instructions?" While I huddled in, I heard my father's cold and unwavering voice ask.
For some reason, I was terrified of his next words. Well, excluding me from the pack was the worst he could do, and I had nowhere to stay.
"Give me a solid reason for rejecting your mate." He inquired, failing to notice my expression at the time.
Why should he?
When his hatred for me became too obvious.
"Father, I discovered that he loved my sister more." I defended myself, and Lykania, who was sitting peacefully beside him, gasped.
"Yes, please do not make that innocent face," I warned, and she chuckled lightly.
"Do I make an innocent face?" Ain't you the one making that face ever since you saw me at the Luciano Ball Party? Imagine." She scoffed hysterically, which I found amusing for various reasons. The way she responded to my words.
"If only you would let me finish my words. Alpha Orion looks at her in a seductive way that he never did with me. They would tell funny jokes, and even on the night of my birthday, I noticed them smiling sweetly at each other. That is suspicious. I cannot date someone who is in love with my sister. This is a..."
"Was that why you chose to steal your sister's man? Your excuses are so lame, Wyn. You have only added to the family's shame by refusing to stop calling you names. Have you caught your sister having an affair with Orion?" My father threw angrily at me, flinging his hands sideways as usual.
"Is this until I catch them?" I should start the relationship, and...
"Quit talking, Lunawyn. You are a leech. You purposefully abandoned your mate, stealing Luciano Lykon from me when it was clear he was my mate. "I despised you." She screamed at the top of her voice.
"I was only doing you a favor." Furthermore, Luciano has never stated publicly that he wishes to marry me." I responded casually, but his next announcement sent me reeling with shock.
"I hereby demote you Lunawyn Cormar from the Luna's Title, and you are banished from my pack for rejecting your pack and acting like a whore!" He announced as rumors circulated.
My face dropped into shock and confusion. That was simply too much. All for what?
"What?" I whispered, but a loud noise from the guards outside interrupted my thoughts and increased the tension in the air.
"Hail, Alpha Cormar. A letter has been delivered to us from Alpha Luciano Lykon of Lykon Pack."
