"So, Mom when are we going to meet the infamous Demarcus?" My daughter, Madison asked me. She's the oldest twin, came out a whole hour before her sister.
"Yeah, when are we?" Morgan chimed in. "We're here for like a week after Bri's graduation so..."
"Well, he's on a birthday trip with his friends. I'm not even sure if he'll make it for the graduation." I sipped my wine.
They both gave me that look. That they didn't believe.
I hadn't really thought about telling the rest of my family about Demarcus and I. I don't see the point. I like what me and him have and those who know, know. It was bad enough Briana knows but it wasn't much more hiding with him showing up all the damn time.
"Ma, we just want to meet him. Why are you acting like that?" Morgan kissed her teeth. "We know you two are very serious... via Briana. So why can't we meet the man, the myth, the legend." She motioned her hands in jazz hands.
Earning a laugh from me. "Can we switch the subject to something else...I don't want to share my dating life with my kids."
"Ma relax we're both grown , just look at us as your friends you gave birth to." Morgan said.
"Yes exactly." Madison agreed.
As much as I didn't want to believe it. They are grown older than Demarcus, actually. Which contributed to my guilty feelings of why couldn't I attract someone just a little older to make me seem less of cougar.
"Okay, Okay... since you won't give us the deets," Morgan rolled her eyes. "Do you at least see yourself with him? For longer than this month to month thing?"
I started getting butterflies in my stomach. Much of what I had been feeling a lot every time I heard his name. As crazy as it sounds that my grown ass has fallen in love with a twenty-five year old man but it's true.
"Honestly, I do."
"Awww." They said together.
"That's a great thing, Mom. You can't help who you fall in love with and you could be lucky just to be in love at all cause some people never get the chance to experience that at all." Madison assured me.
"Tuhh," Morgan said. "Cause I have yet to experience that myself. But yeah, Maddy is right Mom. Love is love no matter what. If you're happy with this man who's blowing your back out then... keep him around."
Me and Madison both shook our heads at Morgan. She's always been outspoken and saying exactly what's on her mind ever since she was a little girl.
"Well, I appreciate that. It means a lot coming from the both of you." I sat my wine glass on the table. "With Briana graduating in a few days and you two being here and well established in your lives. I can say that I am fulfilled as a mother. Which for me is something I thought would never happen... cause I tried to not to make the same mistakes your grandmother made with me."
"Aww, Ma. You've been the best mom anyone could have. That's why we go so hard cause we watched you." Morgan said.
"Group hug." Madison called out.
"Congratulations, Baby Girl! You did it. I'm so proud of you." I hugged Briana tightly.
"Thanks, Mommy."
"These are for you." I handed her some flowers.
I am beyond happy, I don't have to help out with anymore projects or wrecking my brain to remember math. I should've walked across the stage with her.
"Congratulations, Daddy's Baby!" Terrence approached us.
I thought I lost him and whoever his girlfriend is in the crowd. I was annoyed the whole time sitting with them during the ceremony. Luckily Maddy and Morgan were the buffers.
"Okay, class of 2020 in this bihh!" Morgan yelled obnoxiously.
"Sissy's!! You guys made it!" Briana hugged them both.
"We wouldn't have missed it for the world, Bri Bri!" Madison said.
"Where's Grandma & Grandpa?" She asked.
"Their flight got delayed. So they'll be here a little later." I answered.
If I didn't know any better I think that was God's doing. Leaving me a few stress free hours from dealing with my mother.
"Let's take some pictures y'all." Morgan said. "Let's get the parents and their baby girl! Come on mom and dad."
I sucked it up and put on a fake smile. Posed for a few pictures as a family. While his girlfriend happily took them for us. She's too damn giddy for me and doesn't seem that bright.
But I figured. From me to what? However, Briana says she's cool and nice. I'll take her word for it. I could care less to see for myself. There is no reason to actually.
"Bri, Bri, Congratulations!" A familiar voice said as he got closer. I turned my head and there Demarcus was with balloons.
I closed my mouth once I felt it dropping. I had no idea of this. I'm just as shocked as Briana.
"D!" She ran to him.
Those two hit it off quite nicely. I was worried for a minute.
"I thought you weren't coming." She said to him.
"I didn't think I was. But I got an early fight just in time."
I watched them do their signature handshake. It was quiet amongst us. I felt like I was in a spelling bee. The spotlight is just on me. Madison and Morgan eyeing him with approving smiles. Terrance and Glinda the good witch just staring.
Jesus help me.
"Hey, Babe." Demarcus lovingly put his arm around my waist. He kissed my cheek.
"Hi." I said lowly because of the embarrassment I felt.
Terrance cleared his throat. I saw the corner of his lip turn up.
"Everyone, this is my boyfriend, Demarcus." Those words sound foreign to me but it felt good saying it. "Demarcus, this is Madison and Morgan my daughters I have told you about."
"Nice to meet y'all. I hear so many good things about you."
"Same here. We hear a lot of good things about you too. A lot." Morgan put the emphasis on "a lot".
"Before I forget. Demarcus, this is Terrance my ex husband and his girlfriend, I'm sorry what's your name again?"
Truthfully I forgot her name. Not to be messy.
"Kelly." She said.
"Kelly that's right."
Demarcus turned me on as he greeted Terrance. Shaking his hand firmly. Giving him direct eye contact unphased by him. I could see the jealousy on Terrance's face. He hated standing here.
"Mom, Samantha's parents are taking us for lunch, can I go?" Briana interrupted.
"Of course. Go have a good time." I hugged her.
She said goodbye to everyone and skipped away to find her friends. I didn't expect her to be with us this whole day. Besides she is having this huge graduation party tomorrow. Per her father's request.
Daddy Warbucks.
"Alright, Mom and Dad. Me and Maddy are about to go to the trap museum." Madison said as she and Morgan hugged us. "We'll see y'all tomorrow and Mom we might come by your place later."
"Yeah, if you're not busy." Morgan, titled her sunglasses and stuck her tongue. Madison nudged her as they walked away.
"It was nice meeting both of you. But me and Erica have a lunch date." Demarcus said as he grabbed my hand.
"Thank you for saving me." I rubbed his shoulder as we walked to my car.
"You know I got you." He tapped my nose. "So that's his new piece huh?"
"Mhmm." I nodded.
"She ain't got shit on you."
I love it when he flatters me.
"I know."
I playfully hit him. He took my mind off of that I'm actually mad at him.
"What I do?" He rubbed his arm.
"You didn't tell me you were coming back today!"
"I know but I wanted to surprise you and Bri. Aren't you happy to see me?"
"Of course. I am."
"Then act like you haven't seen me in fourteen days." He wrapped his arms around me. I lightly placed my hands on his chest.
"There are a bunch of people around besides I don't think it's smooth to have a makeout session at high school graduation let out."
"You got a point."
"So do we really have lunch plans or was that just a front?"
"I'm serious. Reservation at 1:30."
Him mentioning it's been fourteen days didn't make it any easier. I missed him in more ways than one. Now, the downside for us trying to make up for lost time is I have so much running around to do this weekend. With family coming into town for Briana's party. I'll barely have time for myself.
I tossed off my heels as soon as we walked through my door. Sitting at lunch watching him sit across from me. Everything he did turned me on at the slightest. It was weird. Or was I really just that horny.
I wrapped my arms around his neck. His hands traveled all over my lower half. My body settled in his touch wanting more and more.
"We don't have much time." I whispered in between kisses.
"Let's make the best of it." He brought his lips back into mine. I closed my eyes. Letting his tongue search for mine, feeling that tingling sensation between my legs. His kiss always made me feel electric amongst other things.
He led me into my kitchen. He grabbed my legs and hips, lifting me onto the counter top. I am not the craziest about having sex in other places besides the bedroom but in this case I didn't care where we were.
He inched my dress above my knees. He scooted my body to the edge of the counter and got on his knees in front of me. He buried his head between my legs. He slowly started kissing my inner thighs but I hated the teasing.
I took my hand and directed his head right where I needed him to be.
I tilted my head back as I felt him doing what he does best. His lips and his tongue are nothing to play with. The way he swirled his tongue around my clit before placing a bunch of sloppy wet kisses on it. Had me ready to scream.
"Shit," I breathed out. Feeling myself about to come. He stayed right where he was. Waiting til I was finished and cleaned me up.
"You good?" He smiled.
"Yes, great."
Our lips crashed into each other's. I tasted myself on his lips along with the liquor he had. He undid his pants quickly and brought my body onto him without warning. But I didn't care. I wanted to feel him.
That's exactly what I felt. All of him. Not an inch of left out of me. Every vein, every indent making themselves known inside of me as each thrust became powerful. My arms kept a tight grip around his head neck.
I moved my hips a little to meet him halfway.
Just as he was directly hitting my spot. Feeling all of the intense pleasure of my orgasm. My phone started ringing.
"You have got to be kidding me." I released one arm from his neck.
"Don't answer it." He kissed my neck.
"I have to." I reached for it. It was just a few feet away from me. I placed my hand on his abdomen trying to stop any further movement as I saw it was my mother calling.
He didn't stop. He kept on. He gripped my thighs tightly as he pounded me faster and harder each time.
"Hi Mama... yes—," I covered my mouth as I felt a moan. "You guys got an earlier flight?... that's fine.... I'll be there in twenty minutes... okay. Bye bye."
I never hit the end button on a phone call so fast in my life.
I moaned fully and as loud as I wanted to. I tried fighting it as long as I could. My body exploded in a long awaited intense pleasure. A feeling I had been missing since he's been gone. His release inside of me took a lot out of him. He moaned, which I thought was kind of cute.
I loosened my arms from his neck and rested my head against his chest. Hearing his heartbeat race. He held onto me for a moment while he gathered himself.
I picked my head up from his chest. I held his face in both of my hands and pecked his lips softly.
