Sofia's Point of View
"You look so beautiful in that dress, Sof," Ella said
"I agree. You made the right decision. You look beautiful too, Ella," Tammie replied.
"Thanks," Sof and I said at the same time. We spent most of the day getting ready. Tammie had someone come and do my hair and makeup, and now it was almost time for the party. I was so happy because I would finally be able to see Ethan. I was still worried that Ethan might be upset if my wolf didn't appear. Ella kept saying she believed she would appear at the exact time I was born. If she were right, I wouldn't know until 10:10 at night.
It's time for us to head down.Your dad is waiting by the door to walk you down the steep," Said and left Ethan and my room. We got in the elevator and went to the second floor just like Stacie said my dad was waiting by the steps. Stacie walked over to him and they hugged and kissed. Then, my dad looked at me and smiled
"You look so beautiful, Princess," My dad said causing me to smile
"Thanks, Dad," I replied. Everytime I called him dad a huge smile would come to his face. I knew he was happy that I was comfortable calling him my dad.
"We are going to head downstairs first, and then you and Don will come down once Eric introduces you. Ethan will be waiting at the bottom of the steps," Tammie said
"Okay," I replied. Stacie, Tammie, and Ella gave me a hug before they headed down the stairs.
"Are you nervous?" My dad asked as we waited for Eric to introduce us .
"Yeah, A little. I have never had a birthday party before and so many people are going to be here," I replied. Tammie had invited all of the packs to my party. It was a big deal in the werewolf world to see the future King and Queen. I felt like they thought I was the future Queen of England or something but I guess to them I was.
My dad put his hand on my shoulder and I looked at him. "Don't worry, Princess. I am here with you and everything will be okay. Everything is going to be okay. Ethan will be down there waiting for you," my dad said
"Thanks," I replied
"Of course," My dad said. A few minutes later, Eric introduced us.
"I hope I don't fall," I said
"Don't worry. I would never let you fall," my dad said, and we started walking down the steps. The room was full of people. Most were Pack Members that lived in the castle but there were some I had never seen before. People were taking pictures as we walked down the steps. When my eyes landed on Ethan, I smiled. He had on a dark blue suit, and his hair was laid back neatly. He looked so handsome. His eyes stayed on mine as my dad walked me to him.
"You look beautiful," Ethan said once we were downstairs.
"Thanks. You don't look bad yourself," I replied.
"Come on. Let me introduce you to some of the Alphas," Ethan said and we walked around the room for about an hour so that Ethan could introduce me to Alphas of the other Packs. Once we were done we headed to the backyard where people were dancing. Some were sitting at tables talking. The house was full with people and Ethan had told me that so many people showed up that some of them were standing outside the castle. Eric thought it would be a good idea for me to say a few words later on and I agreed. Though I was nervous. Ethan told me he would be with me while I spoke.
"Would you like to dance?" Ethan asked me
"Sure, I would love to," I replied, and we went to the dance floor.
"So, um, my wolf still hasn't appeared," I said. It was about seven at night and I still didn't feel any different.
"I know. But it's not officially your birthday yet," Ethan replied as we danced to the slow song that was playing.
"Ella said she thought I would get my wolf at the exact time that I turn eighteen. I am worried that if I don't you will be disappointed," I said
"I already told you I won't be. I love you for you and even if you don't get your wolf that won't change," Ethan said as he carressed my cheek.
"I love you too," I replied. My dad. Once the song was finished my dad asked if he could dance with me. Ethan said yes and I started dancing with my dad. After dancing with him I danced with Jason, Nick, and Eric. After that, everyone went to their table to eat.
"I think it would be a good idea for you to speak to the members that are outside," Eric said once we were finished eating.
"Okay," I said. I was nervous because I had never spoke to a big crowd before but I knew Ethan would be by my side.
