Sofia's Point of View
"Hey," Ethan said as we walked into Eric's office. Tammie, Stacie, Jason, Nick, and my dad were there as well.
"Hey, come have a seat. We have a lot to discuss," Eric said and Ethan and I sat on the couch.
"What did you want to discuss?" Ethan asked
"First, I was wondering how you felt about me passing over my title to you now that the two of you have completed the mating process?" Eric asked. I knew Ethan was excited to hear that. He had wanted to become the werewolf king his entire life. He worked very hard to become a great king. I could also feel his worry for me. He knew that if he became the werewolf king I would become the queen. He wanted to make sure I was ready. He didn't want to do anything that would make me uncomfortable.
"Sofia and I will have to talk about," Ethan said
"There is nothing we need to talk about. I am ready if you are," I said and Ethan looked at me shocked.
"Are you sure?" Ethan asked
"Yes, I have been working with Tammie and I feel I am ready to become queen," I replied. I was nervous but I knew this was what Ethan wanted.
"So is that a yes?" Eric asked. Ethan kept staring at me and I nodded letting him know I was sure.
"Yes, we are ready," Ethan said, his eyes were still on mine.
"Great. I feel like we should figure out what we are going to do with the Midnight Pack first. I had some of the warriors interview the pack members and a lot of them had bad things to say about both Alpha Thomas and his son. We need to go out there tomorrow and investigate further. I am leaning to making someone else Alpha of the midnight Pack," Eric said
"Okay, what time will we leave tomorrow?" Ethan asked
"Six in the morning," My dad said and I nodded. "Also we need to have Jane and Linda's trial. It's best to get that away as soon as possible. I contacted the werewolf Counicil and they will be here this weekend so we can get that out of the way," Eric said
"I don't get why we need them here. You know we can just kill them and get it over with," Ethan said. I could feel how much he hated Linda and Jane for everything he did. He also blamed himself for making Jane his girlfriend.
"You know it would be best to have them here. We don't want any false accusations going around about us treating people unfairly," Eric said and Ethan sighed in frustration. He knew his dad was right.
"Has anyone found out anything about who might have killed Vera?" Ethan asked
"No, we know it is someone very powerful but we don't know who it is or why they would do it. Tabatha did a sensing spell to see if she could figure out who did it but she didn't find anything," Eric said and I could feel Ethan's worry.
"We need to have extra men guarding the territory. Also, I want extra men watching Sofia when I am away. I am sure whoever killed Vera did it because they knew we were coming to question her," Ethan said. He stopped talking but I knew there was more he wanted to say but didn't because he didn't want to worry me.
"I have already ordered for more guards for the territory. I agree that we need to have more men guarding Sofia aswell," Eric said
"Nick and I are going to watch out for her while you go to the Midnight Pack Territory tomorrow," Jason said
"That would be great, Thanks" Ethan saids
"You don't have to think us. She is our sister," Jason said.
"I am going to take Sofia back to our room for dinner and then she needs to rest. She had a long day today," Ethan said. I was happy he didn't tell them about me passing out and having to go to the Pack Hospital. It woudl have been hard and embarrassing explaning why I passed out.
"Okay, remember six in the morning we will be leaving," Eric said and Ethan nodded.
"We said our goodbye to everyone and we left.
"I hate that I have to leave you here," Ethan said. We were in our bedroom laying in bed watching a movie. Ethan had ordered pizza and we were waiting for it to get here.
"I don't want you to go either but it will just be for a few hours. I will be fine," I replied
"I wish you would stay home from school tomorrow," Ethan said
"I can't. You know I have that test," I said
"Yeah, I know. You would never miss a test," Ethan said as he kissed the top of my head. "Just promise me one thing," Ethan said
"What is that?" I asked
"Promise me you won't go anywhere alone with King Lestat. I don't even want you in his classroom alone," Ethan said. I knew he trust me. I could feel it through our bond. It was Mr. King he didn't trust. He was worried that Mr. King would try to do something to me against my will.
"I promise I won't go anywhere without him," I replied
I woke up to my alarm going off. I looked at it to see it was seven thirty in the morning. I sighed when I saw Ethan was not on his side of the bed and picked up the note that he had placed on his pillow
Sofia,
I know you are probably upset because I left without waking you up but I knew you needed the sleep. I love you so much and I will be home in no time.

I put the note down, got out of bed and headed to the bathroom to get ready for school.
It was going to be a very long day
