Sofia's Point of View
"Are you okay?" Ethan asked as we walked to the fighting field where the trial was being held. Jane and Linda were already in the ring in chains. The fighting field was full of pack members. Eric, Tammie, and the werewolf council were waiting in the ring.
My dad, Stacie, Nick, and Jason were standing in the fighting field with the rest of the Pack Members, waiting for the trial to begin. Stacie and my dad looked at me and smiled. I smiled back as Ethan and I walked toward the fighting ring. I looked around to find Ella but she was no where in sight.
"Where is Ella?" I asked
"I don't know. She is probably running late. You know she isn't a morning person, Ethan said and I knew he was right but I still felt like something was wrong. I was about to say something but someone interrupted me.
"Ethan, Sofia," I heard a voice I didn't want to hear. I looked over to see Amy walking toward us. "I was hoping I could talk to the two of you after the trial. I think it would be nice for me to get to know my new cousin" Amy said. "That bitch doesn't want to get to know us. She is up to something. Let me rip her head off," Tali growled
"Calm down Tali. I don't trust her either but we don't have time for any extra drama right now," I said
"Hello, Amy. We don't have time to talk," Ethan said
"I know. You are busy with the trials. I was hoping we could go out for dinner tonight. All of us. It would give us a chance to get to know each other," Amy said
"We will let you know later," Ethan replied
"Okay. I won't keep you two any longer," Amy said. Ethan and I walked into the fighting ring and over to where Tammie and Eric were standing with the two councilmen. Ethan and I greeted everyone and soon the trial started.
"SILENCE EVERYONE," Eric grolwed in his Alpha Command causing everyone to become quiet. "We are here for the trial of Jane and Linda Young. They are accused of working with a witch to have our future Werewolf Queen murdered," Eric said and then he walked over to where Linda and Jane were sitting with chain s around their arms. "Linda, Jane, what do you have to say about the accusations?" Eric asked and Linda started to laugh
"I don't know why you are asking us this. You already know the truth. Just kill us already. We know that is what you are planning to do anyway," Linda said
"Very well, then. You are right, Linda. You will be put to death for the attempted murder on your future Queen," Eric said and then he looked at the guards. "Unchain them," Eric said. One of the guards unchained Linda first and as he was about to unchain Jane, Linda had a small vile in her hand.
"She has something in her hand," I said but before anyone could do anything she drunk the liquid then smled at me. "I wasn't going to let you have the opportunity to kill me," She said and then her lifeless body fell to the ground.
"Mom," Jane said as she leaned over her mothers lifeless body with tears in her eyes. Then, she turned to look at me. "This is all your fault. You don't deserve to be here. You are nothing but a weak little bitch. Don't you remember all of those times I bullied you. All of those times I called you names. All you would do is sit there silently like the scared little bitch that you are. Don't you remember how Ethan would never take up for you. He didn't care about you until now. You are still that weak little girl. Nothing has changed. If you never came I would have been with Ethan and my family would still be together," Jane said with tears in her eyes. Suddenly she started to shift into her wolf and I knew she was planning on coming for me. I used my abilities to freeze her in place so that she couldn't run toward me.
"How dare you try to hurt my mate? I am going to" Ethan started to say but I cut him off.
"I got this," I said and I walked over to where Jane was frozen in place. I could tell she was worried that I was going to kill her while she was frozen. "You think I am weak? Well, then let's see how weak I am. I, Sofia Jones, The future Werewolf Queen, challenges you Jane Young. This will be a battle to death. Do you accept, or are you too scared?" I asked
"Oh, you don't scare me. I accept."
