Sofia's Point of View
"Meet us back here at the end of school," Ethan said to Ella once he parked in the school's parking lot. Don't leave the school with anyone; stay with your guards," Ethan said. Eric assigned three guards to follow Ella to school.
"I know Ethan. I won't leave with anyone, and I will stay with my guards. I still think this is too much," Ella said
"No, It's not, Ella. You were poisoned, and we don't know who did it. You need to listen to me and dad," Ethan said
"I know who did it. I already told you and dad it was Amy," Ella said and Ethan signed
"You don't know for sure Ella. You even said you didn't see her do it and she didn't go into the kitchen. How could she have done it if she wasn't there?" Ethan asked
"I agree with Ella. I am sure Amy had something to do with it," I said. I was a little upset that Eric and Ethan didn't believe Amy could have done it, especially after everything that happened with Jane and Linda. There was definitely a possibility that they could have gotten help from a witch.
"Sofia, I don't think she did it," Ethan said
"Why?" I asked
"Because I have known Amy my entire life and she isn't the type of person to hurt anyone," Ethan said and Ella laughed
"Yes, she is. You and dad just don't see it. Did you forget that Amy and Elizabeth disrespected Sofia the day they arrived. They even called her an omega," Ella said
"NO, I don't forget and I have spoken to them about their disrespect. They said it was all a misunderstanding and they apologized for it," Ethan said
"There was no misunderstanding. They were very rude," I said
"I know you are upset with them about that but that doesn't mean they would hurt Ella or anyone else," Ethan said
"Why are you defending them?" I asked angrily. I didn't like how he kept coming up with an accuse for Amy. It made me wonder if he had feelings for her or something.
"What? I am not defending them. I am just stating the facts," Ethan said
"That isn't what it seems like to me," I replied
"Sofia, I know you don't like them, but that doesn't mean you can accuse them of something they didn't do," Ethan said, and that was it.
"So, you think I am only saying this because I don't like them? Do you think I would accuse an innocent person of a crime? If that is what you think, then you don't know me at all," I said, and Ethan's facial expression softened. The moment the words came out of his mouth, I knew he regretted what he had said to me.
"That is not what I meant," Ethan said
"Whatever," I replied, and I got out of the car. Ethan and Ella also got out of the car, and Ethan walked over to me and pulled my body to his.
"Sof, that came out wrong. I am sorry," Ethan said, and I heard an annoying voice. A voice I didn't want to hear
"Ethan," I looked over to see Amy walking over to where we were standing by Ethan's car.
"Of course, she would show up here," Ella said as she rolled her eyes.
"Ethan, I was hoping I could talk to you about something important," Amy said
"I am busy right now," Ethan said, still holding onto me
"I don't mean to bother you, but it is important. It won't take that much time," Amy said. She had the nerve to smile at him seductively and it made me want to tear her apart.
"Okay, what's going on?" Ethan asked
"Can I speak to you in private? It is kind of personal," Amy said
"Okay, Ella Sof and I will meet you in class," Ethan said
"Um, can it be just the two of us? I am sure your mate won't mind," Amy said, and Ethan looked at me.
"Sof," Ethan said, and I moved away from him.
"It's fine. You can talk," I said. I didn't like that he wanted to speak to her alone and I knew he could feel how upset I was through our bond.
"I will meet you in class, My Love," Ethan said
"Thanks, Sof," Amy said with a fake smile on her face. I wanted to cuss her out and tell her that she had no right to call me Sof. We were not friends or family. I didn't know if she was Ethan's so-called cousin. She would never be mine. I knew who she was and I didn't want anything to do with her.
"Whatever," I said and I looked at Ella. "Come on, Ella," I said. I could feel through the mate bond that Ethan was worried about me but I didn't spare him a glance.
