Ethan's Point of View
"I can't believe this. You are really trying to accuse me of taking your mate," Ryan said
"I am just asking you what you did after you left the school. Did you run into Sofia at any time?" I asked
"This is ridiculous. No, I didn't run into your mate. I had nothing to do with whatever happened to her," Ryan said
"You were upset when you asked Ethan to let you leave. He said you blamed him for what happened to your sister and mother. Could you have possibly tried to get him back by harming my sister?" Jason asked
"I would never do that. I would never hurt Sofia. She is innocent in all of this," Ryan said. I was sure he was telling the truth. I could see it in his eyes.
"I believe you. I am sorry for bringing you here. I had to make sure you didn't have anything to do with it," I said
"Whatever. Can I go now?" Ryan asked
"Yes, you can go," I said after a moment of silence. Ryan stood from his seat and left.
"Why are you letting him go? He might know something," Jason said
"He had nothing to do with it," I said
"How do you know for sure?" Nick asked
"Because I have known him my entire life. I know when he is lying," I said, then sighed. "We need to get to the school," I said, and we left the room. When we made it outside. My dad was standing with Tabatha by the car.
"Hello, Ethan. I am sorry about what happened with Sofia. I am going to do my best to find her. Did you bring something that belongs to her with you?" Tabatha asked
"Yes, this is her necklace," I said. I took the necklace out of my pocket and handed it to Tabatha.
"Let's get in the car and go to the school," I said
"We don't need to do that, "Tabatha said. I was wondering what she meant, but before I could ask, she closed her eyes and said a few words in a language I had never heard before. She opened her eyes and looked at me. "I need to teleport us to where she is," Tabatha said, holding her hands out. I took one of her hands while my dad held the other. Jason, Don, and Nate held our hands as well. A moment later, all I saw was black. I felt like I was floating. Soon after, we were in the woods.
"Where is she?" I asked. No one was in sight; all I could see were trees.
"She is around here somewhere. Follow me," Tabatha said, and we did as she said. We had been walking for about fifteen minutes, and I was becoming impatient.
"Are you sure she is out here?" I asked. I was worried we were wasting our time, and the longer we wasted time out there, the harder it would be to find her.
"Yes, I am sure," Tabatha said. After about five more minutes, I could see a castle. "She is in there," Tabatha said. I was about to run to the castle, but Tabatha stopped me. "Wait! I am sure there is a shield around the castle to make sure you won't get in," Tabatha said
"Hold on. I know whose Castle this is," My dad growled
"Whose?" I asked
"King Lestat's. He must have taken Sofia," My dad said, causing Don and me to growl in anger.
"Why the fuck would he take my daughter?" Don asked
"Because he wants her to be his. I fucking knew it," I growled. I was upset with myself because I knew he wanted her. "I am going to kill him," I said
"If I don't kill him first," Don said, and Nick and Jason agreed.
"I am going to get in there no matter what," I said. I was about to walk closer to the castle, but Tabatha stopped me again.
"Wait. You don't want to touch the shield," Tabatha said. Then she threw a stick, and once the stick hit the shield, it instantly turned to ash. "That will happen to you if you touch it," Tabatha said.
"We have to get in there," I said. It had started storming outside. The wind was heavy, and there was a lot of rain and lighting, but I didn't care. I wasn't leaving until I got Sofia out of there.
"Can I help you?" I turned to see two vampires walking toward us. They must have been guarding the castle.
"Yes, I need to speak to King Lestat," My dad said
"I am sorry, but he is busy at the moment," One of the guards said.
"I believe he has my mate in there. The future Werewolf Queen," I said
"We haven't seen anyone in there, so you must be mistaken," The guards said
"I know she is in there, and we are not leaving until you bring her to us," I said. They were about to speak again, but then we heard a loud boom coming from the castle, and the guards ran towards the castle.
I was about to follow him, but I remembered the shield. "It is safe. Somehow the shield has lifted," Tabatha said, and we headed toward the castle.
"Check everywhere," I said, and we all headed in different directions to find Sofia. I made my way to the second floor with Tabatha, and I could smell her in one of the rooms. I opened the door, and when I saw what was going on. I saw red.
