"What the fuck did you do to my mate?" I asked King Lustat and then I punched him in his face for the tenth time. We were in a cell, and he was chained to the ceiling. He had already healed from Sof slitting his throat. Apart from me, I wished he would have died from her doing that, but a bigger part was happy he didn't die. I wanted to be the one to kill him.
"I already told you. I didn't do anything to her," King Lestat replied
"Yes, you do. You kidnapped my mate, and now she has red eyes like a vampire. She is a werewolf so how did you turn her without killing her?" I asked.
"She isn't just a werewolf. She is part vampire," King Lustat said
"No, that is impossible. I know you are lying," I said
"NO, I am not lying," King Lustat said, and I punched him in the face again.
"Tell me the truth," I said
"I am telling you the truth. Sofia is a part werewolf, Human, witch, and vampire. She is the only one of her kind. Tina, her mother's birth father, is a vampire, and her mother was half werewolf and half human. They were fated mates. Her mother died when she was born, and her dad couldn't raise her because all he saw was her mother. That is why he left her at the pack where she was born," King Lustat said.
"I don't believe you," I said
"Then ask her mother. She knows the truth," King Lestat said.
"King Lestat is telling the truth," Tabatha said. I didn't even hear her enter the room.
"What? That is impossible," I said
"No, it is not. Sofia is part human, werewolf, witch, and Vampire. She is the only one of her kind," Tabatha said
"So, you knew about this and didn't think you should tell me? Does Sofia know?" I asked
"No, she doesn't know that she is part vampire. I didn't tell you because I was told not to. I was supposed to keep quiet until you found out from someone else. I am sorry I kept this from you," Tabatha said. I was upset that Tabatha didn't tell us about Sofia's vampire, but I knew she wouldn't have kept it from me if it hadn't been important for her to do so.
"I am upset, but I know you had your reasons," I said
"Now that you know the truth, you will let me and my beloved go," King Lestat said, causing Tabatha and me to look at him.
"There is no way I am letting you go. You will pay for kidnapping my mate."
"She is my beloved," King Lestat screamed
"No, she is not. She is my fated mate," I replied
"No, she is not. You tricked her into thinking she is your mate. I know she is mine," King Lestat said and I just looked at him for a moment.
"You are crazy," I said
"She is not your beloved, King Lestat. She is the soon to be King Ethan's mate. They are fully mated and marked. The witch who told you that lied to you," Tabatha said
"What witch?" I asked
"Helena. I could sense her when we were in the vampire castle. She is the one that you are working with, isn't she?" Tabatha asked
"I am not answering any of your questions," King Lestat said
"Well, you need to listen to me. Helena is using you to hurt Sofia. She lied to you so that you could help her get what she wants," Tabatha said
"That's not true. She knows better than to cross me. Everyone does," King Lestat said
"Did she give you a potion to give Sofia?" Tabatha asked, and King Lestat was silent.
"How did you know," King Lestat started to ask, but Tabatha cut her off.
"I know you didn't give it to her. That is good because if you would have given it to her, it would have given Helena what she needed to get what she wanted," Tabatha said
"Wait. Slow down. I need you to tell me everything," I said. I was confused about what Tabatha was talking about
"Helena is evil. She may be one of the evilest witches in all the realms. All she wants is power. She wants to take over all of the realms. She believes that witches are the most powerful beings and that we should be in charge. Her parents taught her that. Helena learned that Sofia was her ticket to taking over the world. He told her to use you, King Lestat, to help her achieve her goal.
"That can't be true," King Lestat said
"It is," Tabatha said
"How do you know all of this?" I asked
"I will tell you this once Sofia wakes up. Its time for me to tell her everything."
