"There is something I haven't told you. When the Moon Goddess came to me, she told me that you were the most powerful being in the world. You have a purpose, but it is up to you what you choose. You will either save all the realms from evil or help the evil destroy us all."
"Hold on, what?" I asked, shocked. I couldn't believe what Tabatha was telling me. I had a purpose and might be the cause of the war ending.
"The moon Goddess came to me and told me that a war was coming. A war that you would play a big part in. I am here to help," Tabatha said
"Why didn't you tell us this before?" Stacie asked
"Because the Moon Goddess told me I couldn't say anything until her vampire appeared," Tabatha said
"What vampire?" My dad asked, and Tabatha looked at Ethan.
"Sof, do you remember when you slit King Lestat's throat?" Ethan asked, and I nodded, letting him know that I did. "Well, your eyes were red, and you had fangs because you are part vampire," Ethan said, and Tammie gasped.
"That is not possible," Tammie said
"Yes, it is. Sofia's mom is part Vampire because her birth father is a vampire. Her mother was Half witch and half human. She died giving birth to her," Tabatha said
"That is why she ended up in your pack, Don. Tina's dad didn't was upset about his mate's death, and he gave her away," Ethan said.
"So, you are telling me that I am part vampire and could be the cause of evil creatures destroying us?" I asked
"Yes, that is what I am saying. The choice is yours. I am here to help you make the right choice and save us all, but it is up to you," Tabatha said as if it were that simple.
"This is crazy," I said. I could feel my heart beating very fast. It was like it was going to come out of my chest. Soon, my breathing picked up as well.
"She is having a panic attack," Tammie said, and Ethan wrapped his arms around me and put me on his lap. I could feel sparks going all over my body.
"Calm down, Sofia. Everything is going to be okay. I am here with you, and I won't let anything happen to you," Ethan said. Ethan's voice and touch helped me to calm down. My heart rate and breathing were going back to normal.
"I am sorry for telling you all of this right now. I know it is a lot, but you need to know," Tabatha said after a while.
"Do you know anything else?" I asked
"Only that Helena, a very strong witch, is working with someone to take over the realms. She tricked King Lestat into believing you are his beloved, and that is why he went after you. She had a potion she wanted him to give you that would have given her the upper hand. It would have helped turn you evil, but KIng Lestat didn't give you the potion. I think he has feelings for you," Tabatha said, causing Ethan to growl.
"She is mine," Ethan said
"I know that. I am just stating facts," Tabatha replied
"You are the only one I want. I want Mr. King to pay for what he tried to do to me," I growled,, remembering him trying to force himself on me.
"I will make sure he pays, My Love," Ethan said, and he kissed me on the top of my head.
"So Helena got away? Is she the one that started all of this?" I asked
"No, she is not the leader, and to be honest, I don't know who she is. We need to find her to figure that out. I believe Vera was involved," Tabatha said
"So do I. I believe that is why she was killed. I am sure Helena killed her so she wouldn't tell us what she was planning," Ethan said
"So what do we do now?" Jason asked
"We get ready for the battle that is coming. Your vampire hasn't awoken fully yet, but she will soon when you are at your strongest," Tabatha said, and everyone looked at me.
I was worried, but one thing I knew was that I would never let evil take over the world.
Ethan's Point of View
I watched as Sofia slept in our bed. I couldn't stop thinking about everything Tabatha had said. I couldn't imagine how such a loving person like Sofia could become evil. She was an angel, always worrying about others. It was impossible for her to be evil. Someone walked into our room, and I instantly knew it was Tabatha.
"I know what you are thinking. How could she become evil? Well, there are ways to make anyone evil. You are the key to making sure that never happens," Tabatha said
"What do you mean?" I asked
"You have to stay by her side. Don't let anyone come between your two. You are her mate. You hold her heart," Tabatha said
"You said her vampire would come when she is at her strongest," I said, and Tabatha stayed silent. "That is when she turns eighteen, isn't it," I asked.
"Yes, that is when her vampire will awaken."
"Will she be evil?" I asked
"That is up to her. Like I said. You will play a big part in what happens in the future." Tabatha said, and then she walked away. I looked at Sof and caressed her cheeks
"I will always stand with you. I won't let anything happen to you," I said, and I meant it.
