                    Sofia's Point of View
I woke up with my head on Ethan's chest and his arms wrapped around me. I looked at the clock on the nightstand to see it was only three in the morning. I looked up at Ethan's face and saw how peaceful he was. He had been stressed out lately and I was sure he would be even more stressed after everything we learned the day before.
It made me feel bad. I blamed myself for everything that was going on and wondered if Ethan would be happier without me as his mate. I had brought a lot of drama into his life from the moment we discovered we were mates.
"Whatever you are thinking about. You need to stop," I heard Ethan say, causing me to look into his eyes. He was staring at me with dark eyes. I can tell you are deep in thought, and by your emotions, whatever you are thinking is making you very upset. I don't like it.
"I can't help my thoughts, Ethan," I said
"What were you thinking?" Ethan asked, and I stayed silent
"Sofia," Ethan said, and I sighed
"I was thinking about how many problems I have brought to your life since we found out we were mates. I wondered if you would be happier without me as a mate," I said, and Ethan growled and wrapped his arms tighter around my body.
"I don't want you to say anything like that again. You are the only woman I have ever wanted. You know I have been in love with you since fifth grade. I never wanted anyone else. I never had feelings for anyone else. I love you with everything I have. You are my mate and my queen, Sofia. Never forget that," Ethan said said. I knew he meant what he was saying. He always told me things like that, and it made me happy, but I still couldn't stop thinking about everything that had happened since we had gotten together. I was sure his life was less stressful before he had gotten with me.
"I said stop thinking like that, Sof. I love you, and we are going to figure everything out," Ethan said
"But Tabatha said I might be the one to destroy everyone. I might turn evil. I can't see myself doing that, but what if..." I started, but Ethan stopped me
"That will never happen, and I am going to make sure of that. I am going to stand with you every step of the way. I will never let you turn evil, My Love. I promise you that," Ethan said, and I believed him. I knew that with Ethan by my side, I would never turn evil.
Ethan put my hand on his heart before speaking. "YOu are my heart, Sofia. You are the reason for me to live," Ethan said, and I smiled at him.
"You are my reason to live, too," I said, and Ethan connected his lips to mine.
"So, we were thinking. Maybe you two would like to postpone the ceremonies after everything that we learned yesterday. We don't want to overwhelm you more than you already are," Tammie said. We were sitting in Tammie and Eric's dining room, eating breakfast. Ella, Nick, Stacie, and my dad were there as well.
"It's up to Sofia," Ethan said. I knew he really wanted to become king. It was what he had been working on since he was little. I didn't want to ruin that for him. Besides, the only thing I was worried about was my vampire awakening, but I could already feel her. She was close to the surface.
"I don't want to wait if you don't," I said as I looked at Ethan.
"Are you sure?" Ethan asked concerned
"Yes, I am sure," I replied
"Okay, then tomorrow, the two of you will become Werewolf King and Queen," Eric said, and I could tell Ethan was very happy. "But we will have to watch your Vampire, Sof. We don't know how she is going to react tomorrow," my dad said
"I won't leave her side. Everything will be alright. Besides, her vampire is a part of her," Ethan said
"I know you might not like to hear this, but I think it would be good for you to visit your mom. I mean, I know you have questions, and she will be able to answer them," Ella said
"Ella might be right, but it is up to you," Ethan said. I hadn't seen my mom since the party where I was introduced as Ethan's mate and future queen. She left upset and hasn't contacted me since. My mom had always been the type to hold a grudge. I thought it would be different after she asked me for another chance to be my mom, but I was wrong. She was still the same, and I was sure she would never change, but I knew I needed to speak to her. I needed to know everything she knew about what I was. I was upset she didn't tell me about my vampire. I didn't understand why she would keep that away from me. I guess I wasn't surprised. She kept my father's identity a secret throughout my childhood and the fact that I was a part werewolf and witch.
"I guess you are right. I'm not sure she will tell us anything, though," I said
"She will if she knows what's good for her," Grandma Mandy said as she walked into the dining room with Grandpa Thomas. "We are going to go with you as well. It's time she told us everything that she knows."
