Sofia's Point of View
Ethan was walking toward the apartment entrance when I opened the door. I could tell he was concerned about something. "Are you okay, My Love?" Ethan asked
"Yes, I am fine. What's wrong?" I asked
"King Lestat escaped his cell," Ethan said
"What? How is that possible? I thought Tabatha cast a spell to make sure no one would be able to get in," I said. Something didn't seem right to me.
"She did, but I guess it didn't work. Helena is stronger than Tabatha, so she figures out how to get through her spell. We need to get back to the castle," Ethan said, and he opened the passenger side door for me to get inside
"Wait," Stacie said and we all looked at her.
"He might go after Tina now that he escaped. He might hurt her," Grandma Mandy said worriedly. I knew she was upset with my mom but she still saw my mom as her daughter and didn't want anything to happen to her. I honestly didn't want anything to happen to her either.
"You are right, mom. We need to protect her," Stacie said
"I don't think she will come back with us," I said. I knew my mom, and she was very stubborn.
"Oh, yes, she will. Ethan, you and Sofia, go back to the castle. I will take care of this," Grandpa Mandy said, and we did as she said.
Ethan's Point of View
"How did she get in here? Who was guarding him?" I asked
"I was. I don't know how she got in. I was sitting right outside of the cell and had no idea. I am sorry," The guards said.
"Yeah, well, sorry, isn't going to cut it. You are suspended until further notice. You can go," I said. It was taking everything for me not to tear him apart. I had told everyone to keep a close eye on King Lestat to make sure he didn't get away.
"I can't believe Helena got in here," Sofia said
"Me either. Where is Tabatha?" I asked the guards who were still there, and they all said they didn't know where she was.
"We have to find them. Maybe we should wait until we find them before having the ceremony," My mom said
"No, we are not going to let him ruin this. We are having the ceremony. We just have to be careful. Beside, if Tina is right. He will come to us tomorrow," I said
"I agree with you, son," My dad said
"We need to have extra guards around. I think we should ask some of the Alphas that we have treaties with to let us use some of their guards as well," I said
"I think that's a good idea," My dad said
"This is kidnapping," I heard Tina say when we arrived back at the Castle. Some guards were basically dragging her into the castle with Sofia's Grandparents following behind. It took a lot of control not to laugh at the situation.
"Oh, stop acting like a child, Tina. You know this is for the best. King Lestat might hurt you if you stay at that apartment," Grandma Mandy said
"I don't know why you care. Sofia doesn't want me here anyway," Tina said and she started hitting one of the guards. "Get your hands off of me," Tina said. Then, one of the guards went flying into the front steps. I realized that Tina had used her powers on the guard.
"Mom, stop," Sofia said, and Tina looked at her.
"Why should I? I don't want to be here, and you don't want me here either," Tina said
"That's not true, mom," Sofia said
"You told me that you never wanted to see me again," Tina said
"I know what I said, but I still don't want anything to happen to you," Sofia said
"Whatever. It isn't like that witch of yours can keep her away. If she could, then Helena would never have gotten in here to get him out. To be honest, she must not be that experienced in using her powers. If she were, she would have known her spell wasn't going to work on Helena. She would have known that she would be able to come and get King Lestat out of the cell. Unless that was her plan all along," Tina said.
"What do you mean?" Sof asked
"What I mean is that you might want to have a chat with the witch. Ask her how she didn't know that her spell wouldn't be strong enough," Tina said
"Tabatha has been helping us since I was a pup. There is no way she would betray us," I said
"If you say so," Tina replied
"Okay, Tina. That's enough. Let's get you to our room," Grandma Mandy said
"What do you mean, our room?" Tina asked
"I don't trust you not to run so you will be sharing a room with your father and me. Don't worry, you will have your own bedroom," Grandma Mandy said, and they walked away. As soon as they were gone, Tabatha walked into the castle.
"Oh, thank the Goddess, you are alright. I heard what happened."
