Ethan's Point of View
"Where the fuck did she go?" I asked after King Lestat, and that witch Helena disappeared and took my mate with them. I needed to find her and quickly. I knew she felt bad after she fed from me. She was worried that she might have hurt me, but she didn't, which was shocking because it should have harmed me. Vampire venom is very dangerous to werewolves. It can even lead to a werewolf's death.
The Doctor came over and checked on me to make sure I was fine. "King Ethan, we need to get you to the Pack Hospital so I can run some tests and make sure you are okay," The Pack Doctor said
"No, I am fine. I don't need to go to the Pack Doctor. I need to find Sofia," I replied.
"Okay, let me check you out real quick to make sure you are alright, and then you can go look for her," the doctor said
"No, I am fine. We need to find Sofia now. I need you to get Tabatha," I said.
"There you are. What took you so long?" I asked Tabatha as she came to the front of the packhouse, where I was speaking to some of the trackers.
"I had to get ready. Did you bring me something to track Sofia with?" Tabatha asked, and I handed her one of Sofia's hair brushes. Tabatha put it in a bowl that had a green liquid inside and said some words in a language I had never heard before. She opened her eyes and held her hands out for me to take, and I did so without hesitation. Soon, she teleported us into the woods in front of a giant red fence. There was a castle on the other side. I knew it was one of King Lestat's castles. "Sofia is in there. I can get us in because there is no shield up," Tabatha said, and a few seconds later, we were in the castle.
I was shocked when I looked up to see a man looking at me. He looked to be in his early twenties and had golden eyes with a hint of red. I knew he was a vampire. Helena was standing right beside them with an evil smile on her face. I was shocked at what she said next.
"It's about time you showed up, sister. What took you so long?" Helena said as she looked at Tabatha.
"I am sorry, sis. I had to get everything ready," Tabatha said. That was when the realization hit me. Tabatha was working with Helena and King Lestat.
"You are a traitor."
Sofia's Point of View
I woke up with an excruciating headache, and my throat was burning. I was in a big bedroom that I had never been in before.
"You are awake. I was starting to worry." Mr King was sitting on the edge of the bed. I jumped out of the bed quickly and stood by the wall.
"Stay away from me," I said
"Now, that is not the way you speak to your beloved," Mr. King said
"I am not your beloved," I said. The burning of my throat was getting worse and worse by the second. Mr. King held a cup out for me to take. "Drink this," Mr. King said, and I looked just looked at him. "It won't hurt you. It will help you."
"I am not drinking anything you give me," I replied
"Now is not the time to argue. I know you feel the burning in your throat right now. It is because your vampire has awakened. If you don't drink this, you will lose control and might hurt a human. I know you wouldn't be able to live with yourself if you did that," Mr. King said
"Don't do it, Little Human. There is more in there than just blood," Tali said
"Yeah, Sweets. He is trying to trick you," I heard another voice say in my head.
"Are you my vampire?" I asked
"Yes, my name is Mira and I am your vampire Sweets. I don't know what he had the witch do to the blood but I know its spelled.
"I am not drinking that," I said
"Yes, you will," Mr. King said, and he started walking toward me. Suddenly, there was a shield over me, making it so he couldn't get to me. King Lestat started to glare at me. "That shield won't hold out forever," King Lestat said, and then he walked out of the room.
"He is right. It won't last forever. We need to get out of here before he comes back," Tali said
I looked out the window and saw we were too high to jump out of the window. "Well, the window is out of the question," I said
"We have to go through the bedroom door. I am sure there are guards outside. We are going to have to use magic," Tali said
"Okay," I said. I looked outside the door, and sure enough, there were guards standing right outside. One of their eyes went to mine.
"Did you want something, Ms?"
"Yes, I need something to drink. Some water, maybe," I said, and the guards started laughing.
"Trust me, Sweetheart. Water is the last thing you need. You need something stronger," the guard said.
I lifted my arms, causing the two guards to start hovering in the air. "What are you doing? Let us go," The guards said as I ran down the hallway.
"Now what?" I had no idea where I was going. I found the stars and started going down them. The shied was still up, but I could feel it weakening. Once I made it to the bottom stairs, I could see Ethan and Tabatha. Talking to Helena and King Lestat.
"I am sorry, sis. I had to get everything ready," I heard Tabitha say. I couldn't believe what I was hearing. Tabatha was Helena's sister, which meant she was working with them.

I was so upset. Tabatha lied to us. She was playing us the entire time. Before I could stop myself, I ran toward Tabatha. "You bitch," I said, and then my fangs were in her throat. The taste of her blood made me moan. I had never been so thirsty in my life. Suddenly, I was pulled into two strong arms, and tingles went through my body.
"Sofia, you have to stop before you kill her," Ethan said. I looked down at Tabatha's unconscious body.
"You bitch, I am going to kill you," Helena said and lifted her hands, and fire started coming toward me. I quickly put the shield back up, which had left when I was drinking Tabatha's blood. I made sure it was protecting Ethan as well.
"That shield won't last forever," Helena said
