Sofia's Point of View
"Calm down, Love. Everything is going to be okay. I am here with you, okay?" Ethan said. Ethan and I were on his parent's floor, sitting in the family room and waiting for my father and his family to arrive. Ella was sitting on the couch on the other side of me as we waited for Eric and Tammie to return with my father and his family.
"I know you are with me and that I have nothing to worry about," I said truthfully, but even though I knew Ethan would always be there for me, I was still worried about how everyone was going to react. What if my father didn't accept me? What if he was coming here to tell me that he wanted nothing to do with me? That would be so painful. Ethan pulled me on top of his lap and wrapped his arms around me, which calmed me instantly.
"Don't worry, Love. They will love you. Who wouldn't love you? You are amazing," Ethan said, and I hoped he was right. I was worried that they would hate me.
"Ethan is right, Sof. They will love you," Ella said, and I smiled at her.
"Thanks, I don't know what I would do without either of you," I said
"You will never have to find out," Ethan said. I tried to get off Ethan's lap, but his hold on me tightened, so I decided to stay there. Besides, I felt more calm in his arms. A few minutes later, I heard people talking and knew they were close. I took a deep breath, trying to calm my nerves.
Tammie and Eric walked into the room first, followed by an elderly couple. Then, I saw a beautiful, tall woman who looked to be around my mom's age. A man was right beside her, holding her hands. I instantly knew he was my father. I looked just like him, just like Tammie said. We had the same green eyes and black hair. There were two guys that looked to be around my age. They also had green eyes. I was sure they were my brothers. One of them had black hair like my father and me, while the other had blond hair like their mother's. They were both over six feet tall, just like my father was.
Ethan, Ella, and I stood up and walked over to where they were standing. "You have met my children, Ethan and Ella," Eric said
"Yes, I have. It is nice to see the two of you again, Prince Ethan and Princess Ella," Don said
"It's nice to see you too, Alpha Don," Ethan said as he shook his hand. Then Ethan looked at me. "This is my mate Sofia," Ethan said, and everyone looked at me, causing me to become nervous.
"Hello," it is nice to meet you, Alpha Don," I said
"You can just call me Don, Sweetheart, and you have no idea how happy I am to meet you," Don said, and then he looked at the woman next to him. "This is my mate, Stacy," Don said
"Hello," I said to Stacy. I was shocked when she pulled me into a hug. "I am so happy to meet you. I have always wanted a daughter," Stacy said
"Um, Stacy," Don said
"Oh, I'm so sorry, Sweety. Don told me not to overwhelm you. I'm just so excited. We all are, actually," Stacy said, shocking me.
"You are happy to meet me?" I asked shocked
"Of course we are. Why wouldn't we be?" Stacy asked
"I don't know. I just thought you wouldn't want anything to do with me because...' I started to say, but then I stopped talking.
"Because of what?" Stacy asked
"Because of my mom," I said. Ethan wrapped his arms around me to comfort me. The elderly lady walked over to me, and I looked at her.
"Oh, Honey. We would never blame you for what your mother did. You are not to blame for any of your mother's actions. We are happy to meet you. I am your grandmother. Everyone calls me Nana," The elderly lady said
"And I am your grandpa. Everyone calls me Papaw," The elderly man said.
"This is Jason and Nicholas," Stacy said as she pointed to them. "They are your brothers," Stacy said
"Hello, Sofia. It is nice to meet you," Jason said. He was the one with the blond hair.
"It's nice to meet you, too," I replied
Nicholas shocked me by hugging me. "You can call me Nick. We have always wanted a sister," Nick said
"Hey," The girl said that walked into the room with them earlier. She had brown hair and hazel eyes.
"You know what I mean, Lacy," Nick said as he pulled away from the hug.
"This is your cousin, Lacy," Don said
"It is nice to meet you," Lacy said with a smile
"It's nice to meet you, too," I replied
"How about we all sit and talk?" Eric said, and we all agreed. I was so happy that everyone accepted me. It seemed I was worried for nothing.
