Tina's Point of View
"Hello, Tina. It's been a very long time since we last met," Lestat, the king of the vampires, said. King Lestat was a very handsome man. He was tall and muscular and had blond hair and blue eyes. He looked like he was around eighteen but he was really over three hundred years old.
"What are you doing here, King Lestat?" I asked
"You know what I am doing here. I am here to collect what's mine. I am here for Sofia," King Lestat said confirming my worry.
"But you said you would wait until she is eighteen," I said
"That was the plan until you went off the radar and stole my beloved," King Lestat said and then his eyes turned red. He ran over to me and pushed me against the wall with his hands wrapped around my neck. "Did you really think I wouldn't find you? Did you really think you could keep her from me?" Lestat asked as he grabbed my neck and tightened his hold around it
"I was trying to protect her from you," I was able to gasp out and he started to laugh
"We both know that is not true. If you wanted to protect her you wouldn't have offered her to me in exchange for your life that night when you tried to steal from me. We both know you don't care about her and that she is better off with me. She is my beloved," King Lestat said
"No, she is not your beloved," I gasped out
"What did you say?" King Lestat said. His eyes had turned blood red from anger
"She has a mate. The future werewolf King is her mate," I said
That is impossible. You are lying," King Lestat said as he threw me to the floor.
"I am not lying. They found out on his eighteenth birthday that she is his mate. There is no way she can be your beloved," I said
"This can't be right. He must have tricked her into believing she is his mate. I know she is meant for me. I will get her back, and you are going to help me," King Lestat said
"I won't help you hurt my daughter," I said
"Oh, yes, you will. If you don't, I will kill you. You know what I don't understand? Why are you acting like you care about her now? We both know you don't. I bet you never told her the truth about who she really is. Does she know that you are not only a witch but also part vampire? Does she know that she is part of a werewolf, witch, and vampire? Does she know she is the only one of her kind and that she will be the strongest supernatural being in all of the realms? I know you haven't told her anything about who she truly is. I am the only one that can protect her. I am the only one that can help her control her abilities. With her by my side I will be able to take over all of the worlds. I know she is my beloved, and we are meant to be together," King Lestat said
"She has a mate," I said
"He is not her mate," King Lestat screamed, and then he started walking back and forth. "I will not let him take what's mine. I am going to win her heart, and you are not going to tell anyone anything about this. You will keep your mouth shut. If you don't, I will kill you. Do you understand?" King Lestat asked, and I nodded, letting him know I understood
"Great, Sofia will be mine soon, and when she is, all the worlds will be ours. Don't try to run away again. I will find you," King Lestat said before he disappeared.
Sofia's Point of View
I woke up wrapped in Ethan's arms. I looked up to see he was still sleeping peacefully. I couldn't help the smile that came to my face as I watched him sleep. He seemed to have no care in the world. I lifted my hand and started kissing his cheek, and he let out a sigh.
"That feels so good, Love," Ethan said as he opened his eyes
"How long have you been up?" I asked
"Not that long. How are you feeling after last night?" Ethan asked
"I am fine. I am upset my mom tried to act like she was looking out for me when she poisoned me and kept who I was away from me but that is how she is. I am not going to let her get to me," I replied
"So, you think she was lying about everything?" Ethan asked
"Yes, I am sure she was lying. She couldn't even tell us who or what she was protecting me from. I am sure she did it so that Don wouldn't find out about me," I replied. Ethan just looked at me without saying anything. I could tell he was thinking about something.
"What?" I asked
"Nothing. I was just thinking," Ethan said
"Don't think too hard about what my mom said. I am sure she was lying," I replied, not wanting him to worry for no reason. Ethan had a blank expression on his face, and I knew he was mind-linking with someone. A moment later, he looked at me.
"I have to go see my father. He has something to tell me."
