Sofia's Point of View
When we got back to the Castle, there were five black BMWs parked by the entrance. Ethan, Eric, Don, my grandparents, Tammie, Ella, and Lacy were standing outside. Eric and Ethan were talking to one of the men who was wearing a black suit. He was around Eric's age.
"The Royal Council has arrived," Jason said
"They don't look like the ones that came a while ago," I said, thinking about the councilmen who came when the Jane situation first began.
The ones that came last time were not the owners of the werewolf council. That man talking to King Eric is the leader of the council," Jason said
"Oh," I replied. I wasn't really happy with them being at the castle because of what happened the last time the werewolf council came. When Ethan noticed us, he walked over to where the Limousine parked. I got out, and he wrapped his arms around my body and pulled me to him.
"Did you have a good time, Love?" Ethan asked
"Yeah, I had fun," I replied
"That's good. Come, let me introduce you to Marshell. He is the leader of the Royal Council," Ethan said, and we walked over to where Marshell was still talking to Eric. When we got to where they were, everyone looked at us.
"I would like to introduce you to my mate, Sofia. Sofia, this is Marshell. He is the leader of the Council and one of Dad's best friends," Ethan said
"Hello," I said
"It is nice to meet you, Sofia. I wanted to apologize to you for the way some of the councilmen acted the first time you met them. I would have been here then, but I was away at one of the Packs, where there was a problem with another pack close to them. I want you to know not all werewolf council members act like them. But King Eric put them in their place while they were here," Marshell said
"Yes, I did. They need to understand that I am the King and the one in charge. They had no right to come here and act the way they did," Eric said
"I agree," Marshell said and then he looked at Don. "I know you are so happy to have found your long lost daughter. She looks just like you. I am sure you were also shocked to find out you had a daughter," Marshell said.
"Yes, I was shocked, but I am happy to have her. She is a great person, and I am proud to call her my daughter," Don said, making me smile. My mother had never said anything nice about me. All she ever did was complain about how I messed up her life.
"Well, let's head inside so we can talk in my office," Eric said
"Okay," Marshell said, and everyone walked into the castle.
"I have to go to my dad's office so we can figure out how we are going to get the witch's council to let us into Vera's territory to get Jane. It is going to most likely take all night," Ethan said
"Okay," I replied
"I will go back to your floor with Sofia," Ella said
"Thanks, sis," Ethan replied, and he kissed my lips softly before he turned to go to Eric's office. Don, Jason, and Nick went with them as well.
Do you mind if I stay with you tonight as well?" Lacy asked.
"Of course, I don't mind," I replied. I felt bad because of how Stacie, Jason, and Nick wanted to spend time with me alone, and I knew she felt hurt she wasn't invited, so I thought it would be a good idea to let her stay the night with Ella and me.
"Thanks," Lacy said with a smile.
"Yeah, it will be a girl's night," Ella said. I knew she didn't want Lacy to stay with us.
I am going to go to my room, change, and get ready. I will meet you on your floor in a while," Lacy said
"Okay," I replied, and she walked away.
"Great, now we have to deal with her," Ella said as we got to my floor. She already had some clothes in one of the extra bedrooms we had on our floor.
"Be nice, Ella. She is my cousin, and I should get to know her. I don't understand why you don't like her," I said
"There is something about her, and I overheard what she said to you earlier about Ethan. She tried to make you think he didn't trust you. She is trouble," Ella said
"I don't think she was trying to cause trouble, Ella. Let's just give her a chance, please?" I said, and Ella sighed
"Fine. I will give her a chance," Ella said, and I smiled
"Thanks, Ella,"
