Sofia's Point of View
"I woke up wrapped in Ethan's arms. I looked up at his face to see him staring at the wall.
"Hey," I said
"Hey, Love," Ethan replied
"How are you feeling?" I asked
"I feel well rested. Thanks, Love," Ethan said
"For what?" I asked
"For making me get some sleep," Ethan said, and he kissed my lips. The kiss was starting to get heated, and I could feel myself getting wet. Then we heard the doorbell, which caused Ethan to groan in annoyance. "Perfect timing," Ethan said. We both got out of bed. Ethan put on his pants and shorts that he had taken off before he got in bed with me, and we went downstairs to see who was at the door.
Ethan opened the door and I was shocked when I saw who was standing there. "Hey, Sofia. Can we talk?" my mom asked
"What are you doing here?" I asked
"The real question is, how the hell did you get in here?" Ethan added.
"It wasn't hard. I teleported onto your territory and then just walked right on into the castle. No one stopped me from walking in. You really need to talk to your guards and warriors. It would also be good to up your security," My mom said
"Yeah, my father and I will do that," Ethan said, and then he looked at me. "Do you want to talk to her or do you want me to kick her out?" Ethan asked, and I looked at her. I wasn't sure if I wanted to talk to her
"Please, Sof," My mom said, and I sighed.
"Fine, I will talk to you," I said, and my mom walked into our room. "How did you know which room was ours?" I asked
"I used one of your shirts you left at the apartment to track you," My mom said, and I looked at her at her with a consumed expression on my face.
"Witches can track anyone with a tracking spell. All they need is something that belongs to the person they want to track," My mom said
"Oh," I replied as we got to the family room. My mom and I sat across from each other. I looked at Ethan and could tell he was mind-linking with someone by the way he was staring into space. A few seconds later, he looked at me.
"Excuse us for a moment. I need to talk to my mate alone," Ethan said
"Okay," My mom said, and Ethan and I walked to our room to talk
"What's wrong?" I asked
"The witches council is here and ready to talk to me. Will you be okay here alone with her? I could have my mom come up here with you if you want," Ethan said. I thought about it for a moment and felt there was no reason to have anyone else here with me while I talked to my mom.
"That's unnecessary. I will be fine here alone," I said
"Are you sure?" Ethan said worriedly
"Yeah. Honestly, I think it would be good for us to have a conversation alone," I replied. Ethan looked at me for a moment before replying.
"Okay, but if you need me, just call, and I will be here," Ethan said
"Okay, I will," I replied. Ethan pulled me to him and hugged me tightly. "I will be back as soon as I can. I love you," Ethan said
"I love you too," I replied. Ethan kissed my lips softly, and then we walked back into the family room, where my mom was still sitting and waiting for me.
"I have something I have to take care of so I will be leaving you two alone to talk. I am sure I have nothing to worry about, right? Ethan asked my mom as he stared her in the eyes.
"NO, you have nothing to worry about. I would never do anything to my daughter," My mom said. I could tell she was offended by her facial expression.
"Oh, I know you won't," Ethan said. The way he was looking at her was like he was warning her that she better not do anything to me. Ethan pulled me into a hug again and kissed the top of my head. "I will see you later, My Love," Ethan said
"Okay, bye," I said, and Ethan walked out of our room
"Well, it seems he cares about you," My mom said as I sat across from her
"Yes, He does," I said
"And how about you? Do you love him, too?" My mom asked
"Yes, I love him," I replied
"Do you think it's true love, or do you think it's the mate bond that makes you love him and he loves you?" My mom asked
"I know it isn't just the mate bond. I have loved Ethan for a long time, and he has loved me since he laid eyes on me," I said
"How do you know that? Because he told you?" My mom said, and I was starting to get pissed off
"Yes, and I believe him. You know what? If you came here only to try to start something between Ethan and me then you can leave," I said
"No, That isn't why I came here. I am sorry if I angered you. Please let me talk to you," My mom said, and I sighed
"FIne. What do you want to talk about?"

"And how about you? Do you love him, too?" My mom asked
"Yes, I love him," I replied

"Yes, and I believe him. You know what? If you came here only to try to start something between Ethan and me then you can leave," I said
"No, That isn't why I came here. I am sorry if I angered you. Please let me talk to you," My mom said, and I sighed
