Sofia's Point of View
"My dad just mind-linked me and told me he wanted us to meet him in his office when we get home," Ethan said
"Okay," I replied. I wanted to ask him how the hell he could drive and mind-link at the same time, but I decided against it. I would ask him that another time.
"What does she want?" Ethan said under his breath as Lacy walked over to us. After he overheard Lacy talking about him two weeks ago, he wanted to kick her out of the pack, but I convinced him not to. He still didn't like her, though, and he didn't try to hide it.
"Be nice," I whispered as she walked over to me.
"Hey, Sof. I was wondering if you wanted to go with me to the mall?" Lacy said
"I can't right now, Lacy. I have to meet with Ethan's dad in his office," I said, and she started to frown. Lacy didn't really get along with anyone in the Pack. She only talked to me. I told her that she should make some friends, like Nick and Jason have, who seemed to get along with everyone, but she told me that the pack was mean to her. I asked if she wanted me to talk to them, but she told me not to. She said it would most likely make things worse.
"Oh, okay. Maybe later, then," Lacy replied
"Yeah," I replied
Ethan and I walked to Eric's office to see Don, and Jason was there with him. When we walked in, they all looked at Ethan and me.
"There you two are. Come in and take a seat. We have a lot to discuss," Eric said, and Ethan and I sat on the couch.
"As both of you know, Sofia is the heir to the Wolf Fang Pack and also the future Werewolf Queen. I was wondering if you two have talked about that and if you feel ready to take your place as Queen. We are not trying to rush you. We just felt that since you are about to be eighteen in two days, we should talk about it," Eric said. Ethan and I have been talking about me becoming Werewolf Queen and taking over Don's Pack. I had been working with Tammie to learn all of the duties I would have as Queen to make sure I would be ready when the time came.
"Dad, I told Sof we would wait until..." Ethan started to say but stopped when I put my hand on his.
"It's fine. We should talk about this," I said, and then I looked at Eric. "Ethan and I have been talking about this, and I feel I am ready," I said
"Are you sure? I don't want you to decide to do this because you feel you have to," Eric said
"I agree. You don't have to rush into anything, Princess," Don said. He had been calling me Princess since we met.
"Thanks, but I feel like I am ready to do this. I am getting stronger by the day, and I have been working with Tammie to learn my duties as Queen. Jason and my dad have been talking to me about the White Fang Pack, so I feel ready. Plus, I won't be doing all of this alone. Ethan will be with me," I said. I didn't miss the smile on Don's face. That was the first time I had called him dad.
"Okay, as long as you are sure. The first thing we need to figure out is how you are going to rule the kingdom and the Wolf Fang Pack at the same time since they are in two different locations," Eric said
"Ethan and I have discussed that, and we believe we should combine the two. We should move the Wolf Fang Pack here to the Eclipse Pack," I said
"That sounds like a good idea," Eric said
"I agree," My dad said
"Yeah, but some might not be happy with moving," Jason added
"I thought about that, but there is no other way. I can't be in two places at once. We will have to tell them in advance, and hopefully, they are okay with it. I think we should give the ones that don't want to move here to move to pick somewhere else. I am sure some of them have family, and if the Alpha of that Pack is okay with them becoming a member there, then they can do that. Hopefully, there aren't too many members that want to leave," I said
"I think that's a great idea," Ethan said
"We will have to build more houses for those that want to live on their own," I said
"I agree. Okay, now that we have a plan, we need to start building the Packhouses. We also need to let Wolf Fang Pack and this Pack know what is going on. Once the two of you have completed the mating process, we will let them know since you have to be completely mated when you take over. I assume you plan on completing the mating process soon," Eric asked, causing me to blush. It was embarrassing talking about that with our fathers and my brother.
"Yes, we do," Ethan said calmly, not caring that he was talking to his father about our sex lives.
