Sofia's Point of View
"I am so happy we got to go to lunch alone. We haven't been able to hang out, just the two of us since Lacy got here. I am shocked she didn't ask to come with us today." Ella said. After the discussion Ethan and I had with our fathers and Jason, he went with the warriors and trackers to look for Vera and Jane. I decided to go to lunch with Ella.
"I am happy we got to spend time together as well," I replied. I was also shocked that Lacy didn't ask to come with us like she usually did. I hadn't seen her all day, which was weird. I wondered where she was, but she was most likely in her room.
"So, what did my dad talk to you about?" Ella asked
"He wanted to know if I was ready to become Queen and take over the Wolf Fang Pack. I told him that I was. We are going to combine the two Pack, so we have to build new houses here and make some updates to the castle," I said
"That is good, Sof. You do know that you and Ethan will have to complete the mate bond before the two of you can take over," Ella said, and I knew my cheeks were as red as a tomato from her words. "Wait, you plan on completing it, don't you?" Ella asked
"Yeah, we are going to do it on my birthday," I said
"Really," Ella asked
"Yeah, honestly, I wanted to finish the process earlier, but Ethan wanted to wait until my birthday. He believes that my wolf will show up when I turn eighteen. I am not sure he is right, but I hope he is," I said truthfully.
"I have a very good feeling that he is right, Sof. You remember the day Lacy and I were arguing? You told us to stop, and we did so immediately. I wasn't lying to you when I told you that you used Alpha Command on us. Your wolf must be getting stronger," Ella said. I thought about that day and remembered how I yelled at them telling them to stop and they instantly did. I remembered feeling powerful when it happened.
"I hope you are right," I said. Once Ella and I finished eating, we decided to go to a movie. I was happy that the guards that Ethan had assigned to follow me didn't follow right behind us. They gave us space so that we had some privacy. Once the movie was done, we headed back to the castle. Tammie and Stacie were talking to each other outside when we got back.
"Hey, girls," Tammie said as we walked over to where they were standing
"Hey," Ella and I said at the same time
"Did you girls have fun today?" Tammie asked
"Yeah, we went to dinner and a movie," Ella said
"That sounds like fun," Stacie said. We talked to Tammie and Stacie for a while, and then Ella and I went into the castle.
"I am going to go to my room real quick, and then I will meet you in yours," Ella said
"Okay," I replied, and I headed to my room. When I opened the door, I was shocked at what I saw. Ethan and Lacy were in the family room kissing. I didn't know what to do or say, so I did the first thing that came to my mind. I ran out of the room.
As I was running, I bumped into someone, and I almost fell, but the person grabbed me so that I wouldn't fall.
"I am sorry. I wasn't watching where I was going," I said, and I looked up to see Ryan standing there.
"It's alright," Ryan said. I was about to walk away, but he stopped me. "Are you okay?" Ryan asked worriedly. It was then that I realized tears were coming from my eyes.
"Sof, what's wrong? Why are you crying?" Ella said as she walked over to where Ryan and I were standing, and then she looked at him with a frown. "Did you do something to her?" Ella asked
"No, I didn't do anything to her," Ryan replied. While they were arguing, I ran out of the packhouse to see my mom getting out of her car. I didn't know she was coming over, but I was grateful to see her.
"Hey, Sofia. I came to see you," My mom said, and then she started to frown when she saw my appearance. "What's wrong? Did Ethan do something to you?" My mom asked
"Can we just go? I don't want to be here," I said
"Of course. Get in," My mom said.
"Sof." I looked out the window to see Ella walking my way, but I didn't want to speak to her. My mom noticed, so she started the car and drove away before Ella could get to where we were standing. My cell phone beeped, letting me know someone had messaged me.
"What happened? Why did you leave like that?" Ella messaged me. I decided to text her back.
"I saw Ethan and Lacy kissing."
