Sofia's Point of View
"Sof, thank the Goddess you are okay," Ethan said as he walked over to me and hugged me tightly. The guards had taken Linda and Jane to a cell.
"Don't forget that one over there," Eric said to the guards as he pointed to Lacy, who was unconscious.
"What happened?" Don asked
"After I had breakfast with Tammie and Stacie, I walked back here to see Lacy waiting for me at the front door. She asked if she could talk to me. I was a little hesitant at first, but when she told me she was going to tell me why she did the things she did, I let her in. She told me that she had always loved you and wanted to be the Werewolf Queen. She blamed me for taking everything she ever wanted away from her. Then she took a vile out and drank whatever was in it. Her fangs and claws extended way bigger than they should have, and she attacked me. I was able to use my powers to stop her. Then, she fell to the ground and started screaming like she was in pain. I am sure it was whatever was in that vile. Then, Linda, Vera and Jane came," I said
"Wait, Vera was with them?" Ethan asked. I had forgotten to tell them about her.
"Yes, she said there were no hard feelings and that it was only business. She must have gotten away," I said
"I am going to send some guards to call for Tabatha," Eric said
Ryan and Kane were still in the room. Ryan was trying to get him to go to the Pack Hospital, but he said he was fine. Ethan and I walked over to where they were standing.
"I am so sorry about what my daughter and Linda tried to do to you. You didn't deserve it," Kane said as he looked at me.
"It's isn't your fault. You have nothing to apologize for," I replied
"Thanks for saying that, but I feel I am to blame. I knew Linda was feeling Jane's head with too much hope that she would be the Werewolf Queen. I knew she would most likely not be because she was too selfish. I blame that on myself. Linda and I spoiled Jane rotten, and that is the reason she is the way she is," Kane said
"We should go. You need to rest. You have been through a lot today," Ryan said, and Ethan walked in front of him.
"Thanks for your help, Ryan. I owe you one," Ethan said, shocking me. He held his hand out for Ryan to shake, but Ryan didn't shake it.
"I didn't do it for you. I did it for my future, Luna. I couldn't let them hurt her. She didn't do anything to deserve that and is a great person, " Ryan said as he looked at me.
Ethan put his hand down and looked at me. "I know she is," Ethan said, and Ryan and Kane left.
"Why did you say thank you to Ryan?" I asked
"He called me and told me what Linda was planning. Apparently, Jane, Linda, and Vera went to see him at the hospital. She wanted his help to get rid of you. He mind-linked me, letting me know what was going on, and we had Tabatha teleport us back to the castle," Ethan said.
"That makes sense. When they showed up, Ryan was with them. I thought he was on Linda's side at first, but when she tried to go after me, he stopped her," I replied
"I definitely owe Ryan for what he did for you," Ethan said
"So, what will happen to them?" I asked
"They will be punished for their crimes," Erc said
"The guards that were supposed to be watching our floor will be punished as well. They knew they were supposed to stay by the door. If they were, Lacy wouldn't have been waiting for you at the door," Ethan said, and that was when I remembered what Lacy had said
"I almost forgot. Lacy told me that she gave them something that made them unconscious. She said they would wake up in a few hours," I said
"Did Lacy tell you where they were?" Eric asked
"No, she didn't. She just told me they would wake up in a few hours," I replied
"I need some of the trackers to search for the guards that were watching this floor. Check everywhere," Eric said, and they left to do what he had said.
"How did she get away from you? You were supposed to keep guard until someone came to take her back to the Wolf Fang Pack," I heard Don saying from outside the room.
"I know, Dad. I checked on her, and the guards were watching her. I have no idea how she got out of the room," Nick said
"It wasn't Nick's fault, Dad. Lacy had gotten some kind of potion or something from Vera to give to the guards. It made them unconscious, and that was how she got away. She even gave it to the guards who were supposed to be watching this room," I said
"No, dad is right. I shouldn't have left Lacy alone. I should have stayed with her until her ride got here," Nick said
"No, you didn't do anything wrong, Nick. You checked on her and left her with the guards. You didn't know she had a potion that would knock them out. If you stayed, she most likely would have used it on you too," I said, and then I looked at my Dad. "You can't put the blame on him. He did what he was supposed to do," I said, and my dad sighed
"You are right. I am sorry, son. I was just worried when Ethan told us what was going on," My dad said
"It's alright, Dad. I understand. I am just happy nothing happened. I just found out I got a sister. I don't want to lose her," Nick said
"Me either," My dad said, and I smiled. I had never felt so loved before. I felt I had everything I ever wanted and tomorrow I would become fully mated to the only man I had ever wanted.
