                    Ethan's Point of View
"Oh, that's where you're wrong. Your daughter messed with my mate, and anyone who messes with my mate will pay," I said, and then I looked Linda in the eye.
"Now, are you going to tell me where Vera is?" I said. I was about to cut one of Jane's fingers, but Linda spoke.
"No, please, don't hurt her anymore," Linda said, and I looked at her.
"Are you going to tell me what I want to know?" I asked
"Yes, I will," Linda said
"Where is Vera?" I asked
"I am not sure exactly where she is, but we were in the mountain close to the Midnight Pack. There is a cabin there where we were staying," Linda said
"Did Alpha Thomas know you were there?" I asked, and she nodded her head, letting me know he knew. I knew Alpha Thomas was upset with my dad because Alpha Thomas was trying to make the old Beta of his Pack's daughter marry his son. His old Beta told my dad what was going on and my dad went to the Pack to investigate. Of course, Alpha Thomas denied that he was trying to force her, but my dad knew the truth. His old Beta and his daughter ended up moving to the Pack, where her fated mate lived.
"Yes, he knew. He is the one that owns the cabin and told us we could stay there as long as we needed," Linda said
"Okay, I need you to show me," I said, and she nodded her head. I walked out of the room and over to where my dad, Don, Jason, and Nick were standing.
"Take Jane back to her cell," I said to one of the guards, and he went to do what I said.
"So, Alpha Thomas has been helping her. I should have known," My dad said angrily.
"We will have to take care of him too," I said.
"How much longer until we get there?" I asked Linda as we walked. I was getting impatient. We had been walking for over an hour and there was no cabin in sight.
We are almost there," Linda said. We walked for another fifteen minutes, and still, no cabin was in sight. I was about to speak, but Linda spoke first. "There it is," Linda said. The guards and I quietly walked into the cabin. We walked through it and I was upset to see it was empty.
"Did you find anything?" Don asked
"No, it's empty. She must have known we would look for her here," I said. Suddenly, two men walked over to us. I was sure they were from Alpha Thomas' Pack.
"What are you doing here? Don't you know this is private property of the Midnight Pack?" One of the men said. My dad walked over to where I was standing, and they instantly bowed. "I am sorry, My King. We didn't see you there," One of the men said
"It is fine, but I want you to know that this isn't a part of the Midnight Pack. Anyone can come on this land," My dad said
"I wasn't aware of that, My King. Alpha Thomas told me to guard this part of the territory to make sure no one trespasses," the man said
"What is your name?" My dad asked
"Stephen," He said
"Well, Stephen. I need you to take me to him," My dad said
"Yes, my King," the man said, and we walked with him to the Midnight Pack. While we were walking to the packhouse, I noticed that many of the packhouses were in bad shape. What really got to me were the pups outside with dirty clothes on. Some of them had holes in them. The neighborhoods didn't look that great. I could tell by my dad's face that he didn't like what he was seeing.
As we walked up to the Packhouse, everyone bowed their heads as we passed. I was sure they were wondering why the Werewolf King was at their pack. Alpha Thomas and his son were waiting for us outside of the packhouse. One thing I could say about the Packhouse is that it was much nicer than the other houses.
"King Eric. I wasn't expecting you," Alpha Thomas said
"I need to speak to you about something important," My dad said, getting straight to the point.
"Can it wait? I had something important that I needed to do," Alpha Thomas said
"No, it can't. I need to speak to you now," My dad said
"Okay, come inside," Alpha Thomas said and we followed him to his office. The inside of the packhouse was nice and clean. Everyone's eyes were on us as we passed by them. My dad, Don, Linda and I walked into his office while Jason, Nate, and the warriors stayed in the hallway
"What do you need to talk about?" Alpha Thomas asked
"Have you seen this woman before?" My dad asked as he pointed to Vera. I could tell by how nervous he looked that he had seen her before.
"No, I haven't."
