"I'm pretty sure that person has their own reasons." It was Jungwon's turn to avoid Hani's gaze. He coughed awkwardly and set his eyes down the test papers which were messily lying at the table.

Jungwon stopped giving Hani the blue post-its because he was already getting her attention as Jungwon, and he was making her happy as himself. So, he definitely did not expect Hani to care about the blue little post-its he once gave her everyday.

Exams were nearing, but the only thing in Jungwon's mind was to prepare Hani for it. Still, the tutoring sessions did help him a lot in recalling the lessons, and Hani easily understood the topics, so when he makes mistakes, the girl is there to correct him.

"I should go and buy some pencils for the upcoming exams while I still remember it." Jungwon excuses himself before standing up to go to the stationery section, where students can buy common school materials.

This is actually where he buys the blue papers.

He did not have to find his way, knowing the direction to where the blue post-its are as if it's in the back of his hands.

Meanwhile, in the distance, Hani giggled lightly. She knew what she did when she mentioned the blue post-its. Hani doesn't know where she took the courage to say it— but she did. And she's been laughing inside her mind ever since she saw the flustered look on Jungwon's face.

Of course, she also did not fail to notice his red ears.

She continued to stare at his figure as he sneakily took a set of blue post-its to his hand, probably thinking that she wouldn't know.

Hani found Jungwon's attempt to keep the secret hilarious. Initially, she mentioned the secret admirer to see if he'd confess that he was that person, right then and there.

He thought he was doing good, but she knew right from the start. In all honesty, she found it admirable of him, his effort. That's mainly why she fell in love with him.

And yes, she— indeed— fell in love with Yang Jungwon. His looks, personality, everything. He's perfect.

Jungwon paid for the pencils and post-its, yet sneaked the latter inside the pocket of his orange jacket. He then came back to their table and acted normally, though Hani could see right through him.

He took his jacket off and hooked it over the wooden chair, in which Hani notices the newly bought post-it slightly sticking out from the pocket. Is he planning to give me the post-its again?

"Jungwon, I didn't bring my maths workbook." Hani blatantly lied, already having a silly plan in her mind.

She did not mean to get Jungwon buying post-its and repeating his hard work all over again, she just wanted him to tell the truth to her, so she could finally gain the voice to admit her feelings to him.

"Oh, I also didn't bring it since I don't have maths today." Jungwon says but shrugged it off and stood up again, pushing the chair back as he towers his figure over Hani's.

"Nevermind, I'll just go get a similar workbook in the statistics sections." He told Hani before going off in his way towards the aisle of bookshelves.

And with that, the boy was off to searching workbooks after workbooks, which is taking him quite some time. Hani is relieved he was taking his time, because her hand was already sneaking to get the unused post-its.

She then tore one piece of it and stuck it to the table, where she doodled a cat. Hani was a great impersonator of doodles, given that she's always been staring at.

What would his reaction be? Hani could only snicker at all the possibilities.

She carefully put the remaining blue post-its back to Jungwon's jacket and hid the one she drew on in between her clasped hands.

"Okay, so there's no workbooks available that are exactly the same, but these three books have some of the lessons we just tackled." Jungwon finally came back, eyes drawn onto the books he held.

Hani feigned interest, reaching out only with one hand. "Oh really? Can I see then?"

Jungwon, ever-so clueless, carefully handed Hani the books, making sure that it won't be too heavy for her to put down only with one of her hands. He didn't pay mind to it, and instead prepared the table by removing unnecessary materials before finally settling down to his seat.

Hani took this chance and stuck the post-it on the book cover of the one right in the middle.

"Alright, let's start for real now." Jungwon said before pulling his chair nearer to the table in order to sit more comfortably. He then took the stacked books closer to him, and Hani couldn't help but let a stifled laugh escape.

"Pfft–" Hani resisted the giddy feeling and looked at Jungwon with a pathetically done face of innocence.

Jungwon narrowed his eyes, but he also couldn't resist a smile growing in his face. Hani's smile was just too contagious. And perhaps the side effect is the growing beat of Jungwon's heart.

"You are being one suspicious mentee, 'lil pea– Jungwon playfully remarked, until her remembered that nickname belonged to Mr. Blue Post-it, not Yang Jungwon.

"...You little mentee." He managed to save himself from getting exposed... Or did he?

Hani only rolled her eyes and grinned. She then exclaimed, "Oh please, I was doing nothing!"

However, it was far too obvious that there's something that Hani did. Jungwon decided to save the teasings and playtime later. Again, exams are nearing, and he needs to prepare Hani for that.

But inevitably, he was bound to see what was stuck on the middle book as he unstacked them.

i know it was you all along :p

Jungwon read. There, on the same post-it that he used to draw on, was a doodle of a cat, saying exactly what he just read. At first, he only stared at it blankly. But each second the message presented itself, Jungwon realised in clarity what it meant.

His head tilted up, eyes wide as he looked back at Hani, who gazed at him knowingly the whole time. It was as if they had some kind of telepathy, and no words were needed to be uttered before they understood:

There is no unrequited love between them, for their feeling is mutual and reciprocated. So they smiled, a warm beam of sun emanated as their hearts finally break.

But instead of a bleeding heart, there it cracked; The blinding desire to beat in perfect harmony.
