The wind swayed and the tree leaves danced as the dried ones fell to the ground. The sun was dimly bright, and the stratus clouds were enough to give Seoul a perfect soft light and comforting warmth.
ㅤ
On the other hand, Jungwon is a huge billboard plastered on the highway with a quote 'I am the happiest boy today.' plastered on his face. The grip he has on both his backpack's straps were tight, and he was basically skipping towards the school gates like a cheerful rabbit.
ㅤ
What's the reason behind his smile? Well, later after class concludes, he'll properly meet Hani, and he'll be able to get closer to her as he starts tutoring her.
ㅤ
Never in his teenage life would he imagine being overly excited in tutoring someone, he used to dread it. But then again, it's his crush that we're talking about.
ㅤ
And just as if on cue, Jungwon noticed the unique Jiji backpack, and the black square glasses. Hani walked and cluelessly passed by him. Her head was still hung low, and she was slouching, all with the signature frown in her face.
ㅤ
But now, Jungwon knew better. Hani is greatly anxious, and that explains the frown on her face. She didn't choose to be like this, and it made her all the more special. Without even realising it, Jungwon stood to his feet as his head followed Hani as she slowly disappeared to the huge crowd of students.
ㅤ
And when he could finally not see the littlest bit of her figure, his feet walked on their own and rushed nearer to the girl, following her without much thought.
ㅤ
Jungwon promised to not creep his way to her, but it was as if he was binded by a spell that he became accustomed to, following Hani and admiring her became a habit of his, just like how his smile instantly became wider and his dimples became conspicuous.
ㅤ
Meanwhile, far from a distance, both Sunoo and Ni-ki were looking at their dear friend as he skipped his way inside the school.
ㅤ
"Look at him, basically hopping his way to the school." Sunoo snickers as he lightly jabs Ni-ki by the shoulder. The younger looked at a distance, and saw what Sunoo was talking about.
ㅤ
Ni-ki chuckles, "Jungwon hyung!" He shouts, enough to draw everyone's attention... Except Jungwon, himself. It was so unlike Jungwon, as the boy tends to be hyper-aware of his surroundings. He's usually just one call away, quite literally.
ㅤ
The two witnessed how their friend slowed down, and soon halted as he looked somewhere. "What's he looking at?" Sunoo raises an eyebrow as he crosses his arms.
ㅤ
Ni-ki points at the girl with a cat-themed backpack after he huffs. "Probably that girl." He smirked. Does his friend have a crush?
ㅤ
Sunoo and Ni-ki stood still as they watched Jungwon rush near to the unbothered girl. Looks like Ni-ki's assumption is likely the situation. Jungwon never follows people around, because everyone who needs his assistance goes to him themselves.
ㅤ
It's not possible that Jungwon was following that girl around. What else could Jungwon want from a girl? It's only likely for him to be interested.
ㅤ
Upon this small assumption, Sunoo and Ni-ki scoffed to themselves. "Looks like our friend is experiencing puppy love." They remarked, laughing their stomachs off with banters and jests as they also went inside the school premises.

ㅤ
It's now afternoon and the sun has become quite harsh, everything is silent around the school. You can only hear the drafting of the chalk against the green board and the voice of the teachers..
ㅤ
How to not creep out people with anxiety?
How to act around a person with anxiety?
What to say to anxious people?
How to be friends with an anxious person.
ㅤ
You would think that Jungwon is the one who has anxiety if you'd see his google history.
ㅤ
While the teacher discussed up front, the usually present-minded Jungwon was ducking his head under his table, his phone in one of his hands, while the other covered the top, so as to not get caught. His lower lip is in between his teeth, nibbling it as he reads through articles after articles regarding anxiety disorder.
ㅤ
He was not typically the type to be so eager over knowing things in great detail— At least not to the point that he neglected the lesson being taught at his last class subject for the day.
ㅤ
Jungwon has been like this since earlier. After silently following and gawking at Hani by the main building, he proceeded to run towards his assigned classroom after the bell rang.
ㅤ
Since then, researcher Yang Jungwon has been brought out.
ㅤ
Whether it's using the school's chromebooks to search about anxiety, surfing through books after books at the library on how to make friends (And of course he couldn't withstand to briefly read the 'How To Make Someone Like You' because he thought it was pertaining to the ways of making someone infatuated to you), Jungwon spent the day preparing to meet Hani and leave a good impression.
ㅤ
"Yang Jungwon!" The ever-so-strict Mr.Hwang exclaims as he slams the chalk eraser to his table, making a loud thud that echoes throughout the now-silent classroom.
ㅤ
"You think I'll let you pass with misbehaviour because you're the student council president? Hand me your phone, and you'll be going to detention after class!" Mr.Hwang exclaims as he rushes over towards Jungwon. The boy can't do anything but give his phone to the old man with fumes coming out of his ears.
ㅤ
Detention? Geez, what a waste of time! I still need to meet Hani after she finishes her class. Jungwon almost rolled his eyes at Mr.Hwang because of this thought.
ㅤ
Still, Jungwon is lucky enough because detention for these kinds of offences usually lasts for 30 minutes, and Hani said that her class will end 30 minutes after Jungwon's. Still, I could've spent the time learning more about Hani's condition.
ㅤ
Annoyed he was, he could only scratch the back of his head before taking his ballpen to his hand and spinning it around as he absent-mindedly looked up front; Where Mr.Hwang proceeded to teach.

ㅤ
The atmosphere of the bright room is beautifully hazy. On the soft bedroom, over the fluffy cotton mattress, sat both Hani and Jungwon. Books and pens accompanied them. Everything felt light, like the cold breeze by the morning shore under the warmth of the sun.
ㅤ
The white see-through curtains sways as wind enters the opened window, where the sun emits a soft light thanks to the cumulonimbus clouds up above.
ㅤ
"You just need to remember this, Hani. Sonnet is a poem of fourteen lines using any of a number of formal rhyme schemes." Jungwon said with a soft voice as his hand neared Hani's, which rested beside her. He leaned his body towards her, but enough to maintain a comfortable distance with Hani.
ㅤ
The girl didn't seem to mind, and just continued to pay close attention to Jungwon— And only him.
ㅤ
Jungwon felt butterflies as he grew overly conscious. He gulped and revealed the smile that he couldn't contain. "Let me give an example."
ㅤ
Hani is a breath-taking beauty. With a pink oversized hoodie, black square lenses clumsily placed over her nose, and her slightly dishevelled hair, her raw beauty is incomparable.
ㅤ
Hani hummed, and the sound of it was as sweet as sugar. It was absolutely mellifluous if we were to ask Jungwon. The boy cleared his throat and opened his mouth to speak.
ㅤ
"My love is like a red, red rose. That's newly sprung in June : My love is like the melody. That's sweetly played in tune. As fair art thou, my bonnie lass, So deep in love am I: And I will love thee still, my dear," Jungwon looked at Hani, full of admiration, and his throat ran dry.
ㅤ
They continued to look at each other, eyes forming heart shapes all over their brown orbs. And just as if the beats of their heart became in sync, it became the only thing that's heard around the empty room.
ㅤ
"Jungwon..." Her voice matched her personality, soft yet deep. She sounded so calming. Hearing her voice is like going back home to a warm bowl of ramen with your favourite TV show already airing after some gloomy rainy day.
ㅤ
"Jungwon..." However, as she called for his name again, her voice became rather... masculine, which painted a confused frown on Jungwon's face.
ㅤ
"Yang Jungwon." Jungwon's eyebrows furrowed, but just as he blinked, light blinded him shortly after fluttering his eyes open again, only to be awakened inside the four corners of the classroom.
ㅤ
Everyone had already left, except his classmate, Yoonjung.
ㅤ
"Mr.Hwang told me to wake you up before I leave, your phone is at the detention room." Yoonjung mentioned, backpack already clung behind him as he takes his leave.
ㅤ
Was tutoring Hani.... Just a dream? It must be. Jungwon didn't even realise that he fell asleep. He never dozed off, especially at school. HIs small fantasy seemed too real, and everything felt so good.
ㅤ
This dream of his only made his feelings stronger. He desires to make Hani laugh, he wants to be the reason for Hani's smile.
ㅤ
ㅤ
ㅤ
And if we're ever to be certain at one thing, it's that whenever Jungwon wants something, he won't stop until he gets it.
ㅤ
