"I'll wear it with pride, and together, we'll discover new horizons."
Nathan drove me to the airport, and we shared a lingering hug at security. As I pulled away, he murmured, "Will we see each other again?"
I glanced back one last time, watching the edge of his coat flutter in the breeze before stepping inside.
"Of course. And when we do, I'll have a gift for you too."
The world unfolded before me like a dream.
I sailed across endless oceans, wandered through sprawling grasslands, and filled sketchbook after sketchbook with every fleeting inspiration.
By the time I returned, Nathan's talent had skyrocketed—Dreamscape promoted him to director. Next time we met, it'd be Mr. Moore.
One weekend, I revisited the past.
Ethan had sold our old home and moved to a modest apartment on the city's edge. His apology letter was sincere, and though I didn't forgive him, the bitterness had faded.
Sundora was sweltering that summer when I landed—and there Nathan stood, waiting at arrivals. I sprinted toward him, luggage bouncing, and melted into his arms.
Dreamscape wasted no time assigning me new projects. I dove into women's fashion, even re-enrolling in design classes. Six months later, my brand was everywhere—so successful that even our celebrity endorser got a massive bonus.
Without telling Nathan, I slipped into a craft store, gloves on, hammering silver into shape. Three hours later, I held a finished bracelet—moon and clouds etched delicately onto its surface.
At dinner, I thanked him for everything. Then, as we left, I playfully grabbed his wrist and slid the bracelet on.
"Made this for you. Like it?"
He stared at it, eyes gleaming, smile unstoppable. "Maybe you should switch to jewelry design," he teased.
I flushed, laughing. "Let's leave that to the professionals, Mr. Moore."
Night fell as he drove me home, an old song—A Thousand Lamenting Songs—humming through the speakers.
My necklace and his bracelet caught the dim light, shimmering in sync.
"Even if a thousand stars outshine tonight's moon someday… none will ever glow as bright as this."
