The hulking brute leered at me with greasy hunger, tongue flicking over cracked lips as he growled in perfect Burmese, "You're the fresh meat?"
My body locked up, fear stealing my voice.
The purple bruises staining the other girls' skin told me everything—defiance here meant agony.
"Hey! I'm talking to you! Eyes up!" His bark sent spittle flying, the threat dripping from each word.
I played dumb, shrinking deeper into the corner like a cornered animal.
My silence lit his fuse. He lunged, meaty fingers digging into my arm like iron shackles.
His tobacco-stained teeth gleamed as he pawed at my face, breath reeking of rot as he muttered filth. "Soft little thing. Perfect for breaking in tonight. Look at that body—gonna enjoy every inch."
A wet chuckle. "Dealers get first dibs tomorrow, but daddy gets his sample today."
I thrashed against his concrete chest, my punches bouncing off uselessly. It only excited him more.
His grubby hands mapped my curves. Just as his fingers hooked into my collar—
The door crashed open. "Batu! Boss says hands off! She's untouched merchandise!"
Batu's face twisted into something inhuman. He hurled me to the concrete like garbage.
White pain exploded behind my eyes.
He rounded on the guard, veins bulging. "The hell I can't! Since when?"
The guard cowered. "D-don't shoot the messenger, man. Orders from top floor."
"Worthless!" Batu's boot cracked into my ribs before he stormed out, the door shuddering in its frame.
I curled into a trembling ball, my lips moving in silent prayers.
Sophia crawled over, her whisper raw. "Chen Ke... still breathing?"
I swallowed bile. "Who is that animal? He... does this regularly?"
Her nod made my stomach heave. "Daily. Sometimes all three of us at once. These aren't love bites."
"The old couple's 'son.' Even the guards piss themselves when he's angry."
My vision swam. If he'd dragged me out tonight—a college grad's first time with that beast? I'd bash my skull open on the door first.
The hinges screamed again.
Gregory Hill stood there—the smiling devil who'd sold me this nightmare.
Fire burned through my veins. "You rotting bastard! Let me out!"
His wrinkled face split into a nightmare grin. "Out? Sweetheart, you're premium stock."
"Reserved for very special clients. Can't have you damaged goods."
"Count your blessings—you're upgrading to a private suite. Now, dinner time."
Private room?
Another lie.
I scrambled back. "Go to hell!"
Gregory snapped his fingers. "She doesn't understand polite requests."
They hauled me out as Sophia watched—that hollow stare they give death row inmates.
