HALWRIGHT SCHOOL OF SUPERNATURALS - Chapter 29: Chapter 29

"What did you see?" Hayes asked concerned, because Ben had seemed shaken after he had the vision. "When I merge with Vision his powers amplify to a considerable degree, so at times I get dragged into seeing a vision, not by choice." Ben explained.
"When I did it now, I saw the old ruins of the school, there is a tomb there underneath the rubble and boundary, someone is trying to open it and let out whoever is in there." Paige and Devin were alarmed by the information they knew who was in the tomb.
"We need to get there and seal it up again and stop whoever is trying to let out that monster." Kyra exclaimed holding on to Robin. "Kay Dragimier can not be let out." Kyra announced and all of them nod except Ben.
"Vision, Verity, and OL stay here and take care of the rest, Drac I need you to go find Theo, tell him to meet us at the edge of the forbidden forest." The Neo beasts nod to Hayes and Drac vanished to get to his task.
"Who exactly is Kay?" Ben asked and Paige used a psychic link to show who he was to everyone. "He was a student at the school one of the first to be sent to Halwright, what made him special was his nature." Paige spoke as another image came to their minds.
"He was half fae and half demon, this combination is hard to come by since demons and fae don't really hook up and neither of them can conceive a child of either species, that's what made Kay powerful, but also corrupt, he wanted more power." Paige sighs when an image of the old school showed.
"He began recruiting some of the students into his secret organization at the school, they would go out masked as other people, tear down armies and nations, mass murders would occur in a single night when the demon and fae nobles learned who it was causing chaos, they attacked Halwright." A battle image shows up in all their minds.
"A lot of students died that night because of a few students who believed in Kay's machinations. They retaliated of course and Kay led them, it was a bloody battle, one that destroyed the school, that's why they're called ruins." Devin was saddened by the history of their school, they all were.
"Though they had fought Kay couldn't be killed, so the demons sought help from the noble house RahulSyre, the witches helped the demons in creating a tomb which would be Kay's prison, it was placed deep within the old ruins and locked for all eternity." Kyra laid his head on Robin's chest.
"Kyra your family helped them with that tomb." Devin spoke and the witch nods. "Yes they did, and it cost them a lot for helping the demons back then, when the king our great grandfather realized what had happened my uncle had already been executed."
The mystics in the room finally realized who Kyra actually was to Ben, though Kyra may have forgotten who Ben was due to the spell the family tie couldn't be erased.
"RahulSyre making you—." Paige asserts. "Cousins." Ben added and the siren was astounded. "I can't say I'm surprised you're both super strong and scary, plus you both have curses." The siren spoke as if he were singing.
Drac appeared in the nursery with a smile. "I found him, father, he's already there." Hayes smiled toward Drac. "Good, cupcake let's go." Ben raised his hand and opened a portal which led directly to edge of the forbidden forest. "Shall I come as well, Ben?" The neo beast asked.
"Stay and help the others with the newborns, if I need you'll know." Ben responded walking through the portal last to find Theo standing with the others. "Hey Ben." The fae greets Ben with a smile. "Hey Theo, I'm sure you were told about what happened in there?" The witch asked standing by Hayes.
"Yes, plus I could feel something was wrong, Kay is my ancestor." They all looked baffled by the information, they had not expected Theo to be in the same family line with Kay.
"I know it's shocking." The fae laughed nervously. "We need to get in there, stay close to each and always have your shield out, the forbidden forest is forbidden for a reason." Kyra instructed and they all did as told.
The mystics passed the first barrier with ease, as they walked deeper and deeper into the forest, the air became dense, the vegetation wouldn't let the sun stream past, making it a dark cold place.
As they went further in Robin elongated his fangs and his eyes turned a darker shade of crimson. "There is so much volatile magic and destruction here, chaos lingers in this place." The vampire exclaimed and the others seemed to know what he meant when it became completely black as night.
"What's going on?" Paige asked the rest of the group. "Its a trap, this magic is used to turn away intruders or unwanted visitors, it's shadow manipulation and I know only one other ghost with that power." Devin's response had all the seven mystics let their power loose.
Hayes's wings emerged from his back as his body turned black with demon marks, Devin had elements swirling around him, Kyra's body sparked electricity, Paige had a low hum rumbling from his throat and the ground beneath him shaking, Theo's wings were bigger and their blue glow prominent. Ben's skin turned black as well with demon marks, his eyes glazed gold as heat rolled off him in waves making the earth sizzle.
A single person appeared in front of them her hair long in a braid, she unlike Devin had only three elements swirling around her. She was a ghost. "Camilla Tribune, what an unpleasant surprise, what are you doing here?" Devin asked his power threatening to spill even more.
"I'm sure you already know that your grace." She replied with a smirk. "I will handle her you guys go." Devin instructs the others but Ben decided against it. "Shadows and light don't mix, how about Rah's." Ben walked forward toward the girl.
"Cover your eyes!" Hayes yelled as Ben molded light into his hands. "God Circle: Rah's Flame." The sphere of light began to grow, change and become bigger and bigger, the light began to absorb the shadows, and darkness weakening them.
"Ghostal electrocution." Waves of electrical currents hit the girl as she tried to flee from Ben and the rest. "Forbidden Circle: Lucifers hold."Hayes constricted the girl with black chains that burnt her from the inside.
"Your mistake miss was attacking seven of the strongest mystics at the school, now talk." Paige held her by her chin as she writhed in agony on her knees. "Don't be so cocky siren, this is just a diversion, the real fun is happening already." Robin stepped forward and knocked the girl out.
"We need to move." He announced and the light which had taken in the shadows was kept to help them find their way in the dark. They walked forward to the second barrier which seemed to have been tampered with, Theo laid his hands on the barrier and it gave way for him.
The rest of the group was  still on alert, walked through the barrier to find the tomb of Kay surrounded by witches from Vastorway, a fae stood behind them watching them work. "I thought you wouldn't do this Esteban." Theo spoke making the witches and fae turn to look at the seven mystics.
"Oh come on Theo, we can't all be pretentious." The fae countered. "Vastorway must be desperate to want my ancestor back this much." Theo argued looking at the the five witches around the coffin.
The pale yellow sphere identical to a sun above them all began to move, only Hayes knew what was about to happen. The demon flew behind the sphere of light as Ben charged it up.
"Oh well then, I guess it can't be helped." Esteban and the witches were caught off guard seeing that Hayes was already in position to launch his combined attack with Ben. "4th Circle: Solar Storm." Bullets of light shot from the sphere aimed at the fae and witches.
They didn't have enough time to counter as hit after hit the barrage increased making the witches retreat. Esteban now hovered in the air facing Paige who smirked looking at the fae.
Vines sprouted from the ground in the form of hands and grabbed the siren. "You're not all that powerful Paige." The fae smirked looking at Paige who struggled to get free. "I'm not?" Paige let out a banshee scream that ripped the vines off him.
"Esteban, why are you doing this?" As he asked another explosion below them shook the ruins. "You can't win, so tell me why you want to let out that monster?" Paige asked angrily as he used sound waves to keep him afloat.
"None of your business bitch, we'll be back." Esteban vanished with the five witches which had been severely beaten by the group below.
"He'll be back we need to be ready." Paige exclaimed settling down on the ground. "We will be ready."
