HALWRIGHT SCHOOL OF SUPERNATURALS - Chapter 31: Chapter 31

Hayes was baffled by who he was facing, he hadn't expected the demon in front of him to be the one who would do this and risk what their ancestors had done to prevent bloodshed.
"Demetrius, you're a long way from school, what are you doing here?" The archdemon asked, power radiating off him in terrifying waves. "Isn't it obvious my lord, oops you're not my king." Demetrius answered hoping to piss off Hayes.
"I've come to terms with it, I'm happy with what I have, I wasn't really set out to rule anyway." The demon smirked toward his opponent. Demetrius scowled, his wings emerged behind him, large and pitch black, demon marks appeared on his skin as his eyes turned to pools of black.
"I'm going to enjoy this." He spoke looking at Hayes. "You would've if I was the same person you faced those times before." Demetrius didn't know what to make of the statement but he would soon realize.
Demon marks appeared on Haye's skin along with gold markings, his wings appeared behind him making Demetrius gasp, they were larger than his and stronger, unlike his own eyes, Hayes's eyes turned gold.
"1st Circle: Divide." The earth underneath Hayes broke apart intent on swallowing him, but with a quick flap of his wings, he was in the sky. "3rd Circle: Uncharted Assault, Forbidden Circle: Dark Destruction." Hayes's attacks were stronger than anticipated, the explosion and power had caught Demetrius off guard.
He screamed in pain as his wing was damaged. Hayes smirked looking at the demon who slowly stood up. "Let's see whose circles are stronger then." Hayes knew within demonkind to be considered the strongest was your ability to merge different circles and withstanding that power.
"Forbidden Circle: Lucifer's Rage." The violent storm of dark matter and chains rained on Hayes, they constricted his wings making him plummet to the ground. Bloody and paralyzed, Demetrius expected Hayes to scream but the demon smiled.
"4th Circle: Unbind, 5th Circle: Ignite, 1st Circle: Lightning storm." Demetrius made a black shield appear around him to protect him. The chains on Hayes were undone but that was not all, his magic also removed the shield leaving Demetrius in the open.
Golden lightning rained from above, it tore Demetrius's wings and body apart, he screamed till he couldn't anymore, as his wings were torn apart in a bloody storm of lightning. Hayes clasped his hands together and prepared for the wave of magic that hit.
He knew Ben was the cause as he had seen the golden sphere in the sky. The archdemon who was Hayes's opponent staggered to his feet. "8th Circle: Regeneration." He healed himself and his wings preparing to fight.
"Tell me something Hayes, how well can you handle heat. 6th Circle: Burning Devastation, 1st Circle Vortex." The burning red flames came from Demetrius palms and above, Hayes screamed in pain as his body was being burnt alive.
Hayes skin began to turn shades of black to a heated red as he screamed out in pain. "6th Circle: Golden Ice Shield." He mumbled wrapping his wing around himself. The fire no longer burnt him and he began to heal. Demetrius was stunned by the action and power being displayed.
When his assault stopped, he realized Hayes was wrapped up in his large wings and they emitted a chill so cold his fire turned to vapor when they hit. "You're borrowing someone else's abilities, Hayes, you have a mate, a powerful one." The realization baffled Demetrius, no one had informed him of the change, it also made him realize what Hayes had said was true.
He was different. "That's none of your business. Forbidden Circle: Lucifers prison, 4th Circle:Dark Malice, 5th Circle: Phoenix Rage." Demetrius tried to move out of the way but the prison kept him in place, he never wanted to experience what was to come, his mind was being tortured by the malice that had been cast, as Hayes rose from the ground his wings changed from black to gold.
Hayes flapped his wings releasing flames toward Demetrius making him scream in pain, the arch demon kept his assault on Demetrius burning him in place, his mind plagued by malice and his body burnt, Demetrius's arm was broken off by the sheer force being exuded by Hayes.
When the assault stopped Demetrius was on his knees his skin healing from the heat, he coughed out blood which sizzled from the heat around him and his body. "I'm not done yet." Demetrius announced. "Forbidden Circle:Summoning, 4th Circle:Hell hounds rise." From the ground emerged hundreds of hell hounds. Hayes knew only one way to defend himself.
He had never done it before but he had no choice. "Forbidden Circle: Neo Beast Summoning." From behind Hayes came regiments of the Neo Beast army shocking Demetrius.
"Benjamin." He growled looking at the Neo beasts and Hayes smirked.

"My deranged King, last time we met I never got to properly introduce myself." The girl in front of Robin spoke, her hair waving in the wind. "I know who you are." Robin replied making her chuckle.
"Amelia Silvera, next head of the Silvera noble house and my distant cousin." Robin added making her scowl. "So you do know me, how quaint." She fluttered her lashes in a flirtatious way making Robin roll his eyes.
"Why are you doing this, Kay Dragimier is the worst of the worst." The vampire king argued. "Arent you the same, or have you been domesticated by the witch." Robin vanished and appeared behind Amelia with his hand going through her back.
"My mate is none of your concern, you're not even worthy of saying his name so best keep it out of your filthy mouth." Robin hissed in the ear of Amelia who was choking on blood.
The girl moved and successfully got rid of the hand which had punctured her lungs. "Very well, blood shards." The sharpened blood appeared from nowhere and attacked Robin, before it had impact the blood turned to vapor.
"Crimson Demise." A crimson fog engulfed the two vampires, Robin began drawing power and magic from Amelia as the girl did not know what was going on. Amelia searched for Robin with calculating eyes waiting to be attacked until she felt the drain.
"Sneaky bastard." She hissed knowing what the fog had been doing. Wings made of dark matter appeared behind her. "Destructive Scythe." She flapped her wings in succession clearing the red mist away. Robin stood in front of her with a smirk.
"Took you long enough." He taunted and Amelia hissed at him. She used her vampire speed to attack Robin's back, the male was faster, he spun around blocking the attack and countering with his own to her ribs.
Amelia gathered energy in her hands and caused an explosion so fierce it broke Robin's ribs, taking advantage of this she lunged for him, she kicked his head breaking his neck, with a fist to his stomach Robin coughed out blood, using a blood spear Amelia stabbed Robin several times the slashed him again.
A roundhouse kick had Robin rolling on the ground in a puddle of blood. "And you're to be my King, pathetic." Amelia spat as she walked toward Robin who stood up abruptly, the change in his eyes prominent.
"I would never hit a lady but it can't be helped as you are the one who challenged me, Amelia, so be it." Robin's body was engulfed by dark matter, wings sprouted on his back, his nails extended into claws and his eyes held no color expect crimson.
In a flash Robin had lunged for Amelia, he held two spears in hand, the first slash made Amelia angry as she retaliated, she used her own spear and blocked Robin but that's what the vampire expected and used it to his advantage, he used his free hand to land an uppercut on Amelia, still holding her in place he used his spear to stab her several times with one final slash.
A swift kick to her abdomen, Amelia was thrown away, she landed meters away from Robin coughing out blood. "I won't let you beat me." She hissed and got up using her vampires speed, the two began blocking and attacking each other with blood weapons.
"Blood Frenzy." Robin made a wave of blood appear, inside resided dark matter which devoured anything it touched. "Crimson Intent." Amelia defended and as the two powers clashed an explosion of red occurred mixed with the debris throwing both vampires away.
Amelia stood up her wings and dark matter gone, Robin got up as well his wings and matter gone, both had used powerful attacks but they weren't finished. "What will you do now?" Amelia taunted Robin as dark matter and wings came back on her body, a massive amount of power building within her.
Robin smiled as looked up to see the golden specks which floated in the air reminding him of Ben. He looked at Amelia as two pairs of wings appeared on his back, blood armor appeared on his body, and a tremendous power only royals exuded bubbled up in him.

"Father are you alright?" Verity and Drac stood beside Hayes helping him up from the ground, Demetrius also staggered to his feet his body broken and an arm healing again. "I never thought you would be this strong after having your claim taken away." Demetrius confessed looking at Hayes.
"Neither did I." The two had gone toe to toe and Hayes had shown the extent of his abilities to Demetrius. "You are the true king after all." Demetrius mumbled looking at Hayes. The demon did not reply as he did not feel the need to.
"You are the future king now Demetrius." Hayes exclaimed. "But I won't let you beat me." He asserted. Demetrius was stunned into silence looking at Hayes. "4th Circle: Rescind." The new future king spoke and his army of hell hounds was taken back because they had all been defeated by the small yet vastly strong army of the Neo beasts.
"I guess we'll see about that, 8th Circle:Devastation, 6th Circle:Tempest, Forbidden Circle:Dark Demise, 3rd Circle:Elemental Destruction,  2nd Circle:Dark Abyss, Circle merge." This was Demetrius's final attack and Hayes knew it, the black circle was created in front of him each part of it representing the summoned power.
"You've conceded to kill me ey." Hayes chuckled and turned to his children and nods, the Neo beasts went back to their own realm leaving Hayes alone. "8th Circle:Sphinx's Flame, Forbidden Circle: Cataclysm, 6th Circle:Devil's Catastrophe, 4th Circle:Hells Rage, 2nd Circle:Destructive Pulsation, 5th Circle:Spiral Phoenix Flame,  8th Circle:Solar Supernova." The circle appeared in front of Hayes, Demetrius had never thought Hayes would be able to summon and control more circles than his own father.
"This is the true power of a king." Hayes asserted as his circles changed shades of color between black and a pale gold, each power merged with the other creating a bigger circle. Both demons were ready to attack, they let loose their final attacks simultaneously, the two powers collided and each side fought for dominance.
Hayes pushed back further and Demetrius's circle shattered from the sheer force of power from Hayes, both attacks exploded at the same time engulfing both Demetrius and Hayes, a golden barrier formed on its own around Hayes, Demetrius screamed in agony until his body became numb and every part of him was broken.
The explosion could be felt again all the way to the school, where it had occurred lava spewed from the ground, typhoons and lightning storms struck violently until everything settled.
Hayes still engulfed by the sphere that was healing him floated down to the ground, he kneeled beside Demetrius and sighed. "You truly are the king." Demetrius exclaimed moving his hand to connect it with Hayes but the demon refused.
"Told you, I'm not cut out to be a king, you're the king now." Hayes spoke and Demetrius smirked before vanishing from the space he lay on.

"How are you not on your knees in blood?" Amelia asked heavily breathing because of the battle with Robin. "You're supposed to be weak because you have no control." She added but Robin chuckled.
"I used to be weak until I met my mate, accepted the friendship of a witch and his demon mate, and learned to tolerate a wendigo with a loose mouth, in short, I embraced my abnormalities." Amelia was puzzled by the response from Robin.
"That's a load of crap." She argued and Robin sighed. "Very well then." The king clasped his palms together and began healing his broken leg and wing. Amelia stood ready to defend herself, when Robin moved to attack they both knew it was for the kill.
Amelia cut Robin's back making him hiss in pain but not stop, he spun around to cut her stomach with his spear. Amelia manipulated her blood and turned into a frenzy of bats that attacked Robin, they scratched and clawed at him but froze in place.
"Sacred Blood Technique: Blood Manipulation." Robin held the vortex of bats and slammed them into the ground, he moved to repeat the action several times. "Blood Rage." The vortex of bats screeched as Robin used their blood to inflict pain.
When he finally let go the bats turned into Amelia, she had blood dripping from her body and her back wasn't healing. "Sage Blood:Crimson Demise." She mumbled staggering to her feet, that was her final attack.
"Sacred Art: Blood Of Old:Demise, Sacred Blood Technique: Crimson Turmoil." This was also Robin's final attack toward Amelia. Her powers were formidable for a noble but he was a king, Robin took off to the sky and from above hailed his attack which left Amelia screaming then barely alive.
The red explosion made tremors underneath them, as the king had won his battle. Amelia lay on her back blood seeping from her mouth. "I am not deranged as you want to believe, I am your king." Robin spoke looking down at Amelia who nodded and closed her eyes in respect before she vanished.
"Hey Robin." The vampire turned to face Hayes, Theo, and Ben. "I'm so tired and I could use a hug." Ben chuckled and moved to hug Robin. "There there, little king."
